Why Hello Neighbor - Katsumi and Asuka Wakahisa

"What? What are you, a nun?," asks Katsumi, her head tilting.

She doesn't get the chance to really explain beyond that, as Asuka is already turning things back around on her. "Yeah, a crystal-freakin'-ball. My clothes went missing."

Pan camera to the space behind the near chair and the wall behind it, where her tanktop has been scooted in the scuffle. Her socks are simply near the futon, favorably in plain sight.

"I'll find something to put on so you can chill..." Katsumi makes her way to the corner of the room with her clothing bags, pawing through the garments to find something. She's passing on a large number of perfectly serviceable shirts. "Ugh, whatever, screw it." What she produces is a white oversized t-shirt that reaches almost to the hem of her skirt. Upon its face, a pixellated mushroom with a green bulb and white spots, and a pair of eyes on its base. A green, also pixellated '1-UP' is written on the shirt beneath it.

She tugs it on and makes her way over to the futon, assuming a position closest to Asuka. Her hands reach out. "Gimme," she says without further clarification. And no, there are no plates, plastic or otherwise, openly available.

Asuka glanced down at herself, lifting a foot slightly to wiggle her toes. She certainly wasn't dressed like a nun... What a weird question. "No... I'm a wrestler?" Was that the right response? Who knew.

"I don't have one of those, sorry. I think I might have a magic 8 ball though, if that helps?" She watched Katsumi go about her business, tearing through her clothing. She was going to mentioned her socks were right there but it didn't seem like that was what she was after.

"Ooo, cute! Mario shirt? " She was a bit jealous. Katsumi had some pretty cool clothes, between the poptart cat hoodie and the 1-up shirt. Asuka didn't have very many novelty clothing items. Her most expensive clothes of note were the various articles of clothing she had her star imposed onto. She eyes the hand, blinking at Katsumi as she reached over, giving the girl a hearty low five. She didn't understand what that was about but she wasn't about to leave her hanging.

With no plates in sight, she went back to doing the dirty deed of trying to pull apart pizza slices again,

The praise for the Mario shirt gets a wink! She knew Asuka was good people.

The low-five, however, gets a perplexed look. Katsumi raises her hand to look at the palm, then Asuka. "The pizza, you dweeb!," she chastises, sticking the hand back out. The fingers flex invitingly. "You're taking forever! You've gotta want it!"

"Oh, you should have said that then. Use your words!" She purposefully picks the smallest slice to pull free, walking it over to Katsumi. That isn't saying much though. The pizza was cut fairly even. She gently lays it into the waiting hand to go get one for herself. The biggest one. She earned it after all.

"Thanks for the food." Despite it being a prearranged payment, she thought it was only right to thank her gracious hostess. Rather than be presumptuous, she gathers up one of the empty chair to sit on, folding her pizza slice in half to have an easier time handling it

Whether or not Katsumi knows Asuka totally screwed her on the pizza slice sizes, she makes no indication. She just flashes the girl an appreciative smile before biting into the slice. No folding here, no ado, no preparation - just an unceremonious tearing into the pizza slice.

Chew, chew, swallow.

"So you're a wrestler, huh? Y'got good moves," she mentions. "Can I Youtube ya? How's it treated ya? What federation are you with?" She takes another bite and chews, an efficient eater while she waits for details.

Asuka sat high above the common filth of the apartment, slice of pizza cradled in her hands. Despite being so very hungry, she ate rather subdued. Small bites, lots of chewing, no talking with her mouth full. She felt a bit awkward with no plate, but if Katsumi could do it, she could to. "I am, yeah... I have WAY better moves than this stuff." She nodded with a smile, taking another bite from her slice. She arches a brow, swallowing before she spoke again.

"YouTube me? Uh... why?" She assumed Katsumi wanted to film her, not research her on the web. In her defense it was a weird question. "It's been... slow. I'm with LAW, they aren't very far from here actually. It's a very large place, hard to miss." She returned to eating while Katsumi ruminated on these groundbreaking discoveries.

"I wanna see what you've got! Duh," chides Katsumi. Why would anyone want to Youtube any wrestler! "What name should I search? Do you go by your real name? You got one of those nicknames?" Granted, they had two different versions of the verb 'Youtube' in mind.

Suddenly, Katsumi is on her feet and going for her phone. In a display of fine dexterity, she nibbles on pizza with one hand while the other uses only its thumb to unlock her phone, open her browser, and browse to Youtube. But she halts.

"Wait. You're with LAW?" Her head turns to Asuka. "How long have ya been with them?"

"I don't think you're gonna see what I got from some videos but I go by Strider Star... but there is a little star between the two words." She turns a bit, displaying the giant star on the back of her hoodie. It was slightly awkward in the chair. She turned back around, reclining as she nibbled mouse like on her pizza.

She watched Katsami quietly, not exactly excited by what the girl might find. Maybe if she was lucky, someone only recorded her entrance... "Uh huh. Not very long. I'm still pretty new around here."

"Strider Star?," asks Katsumi, her gaze shifting from the phone's screen to the girl in question. Said gaze widens as she realizes the stars she's wearing bear significance! "Ah! Hahah, that's cool! You've got the whole thing going!" It seems only to fuel Katsumi's zeal to dig up videos of her neighbor!

Wouldn't you know it, she uncovers LAW matches. "Seeing a few matches here.. hn.." Click. Asuka vs. Candy Cane. Her lips twist as Candy makes her entrance, the volume loud enough that Asuka can hear what she's playing. She chomps onto the pizza still held aloft, her hip cocking to the side. Once she swallows her bite, she giggles, "This chick ain't bad. Good style on'er."

And then Asuka's theme hits.
And then Katsumi squeals.

"Oh my God, look at yoouu~!" She's not being sarcastic. She's not being patronizing; not deliberately, anyway. She's very clearly excited to see her neighbor making her way to the ring. "That's so cool! You've got the whole-.. and that's so pretty!" She's referring to Asuka's shiny golden outfit. The camera comes in close to Asuka, giving a better view of her. "Oh, ohhh, wait a sec'! Hottie alert!" She cuts her gaze accusingly to Asuka. "Damn, you're hidin' that under there?," she asks, letting her gaze dip teasingly to indicate Asuka's hoodie. "Tsh, bet that delivery boy knew what's up. No wonder he was hoping to get a little something..."

Her eyes return to the screen intently!

Took a bite from her slice of pizza, nodding. "Mhmm!" She smiles rather proudly as she chews. Well, until Katsumi mentions there are matches. She swallows hard, coughing. "You don't need to see those. That are all very not great! Maybe go to my next show instead. A fresh experience!" She franticly looks around for somewhere to set her pizza slice down, finding nowhere she folds what remained of it up, shoving it all in her mouth to try and get rid of it as fast as possible.

She pounds her chest with a fist, forcing herself to choke down the giant wad of pizza as she hurries over. Blushing fiercely at the compliments. She tries to snatch up Katsumi's phone while she is distracted by the video. " The video quility on these are sooooo bad , don't worry about them... Also stop that!" She tried to swat Katsumi on the head for all the flattery.
