Tough Love

Skylar leaned her head back, relaxing a bit as she listened to Nuo. And then... she said it.

"You WHAT!?" Skylar roared, her mood doing a one-eighty. She began to pace around the ring. How could Nuo take a POW match after what happened with Fenrir!? Did she not learn her lesson!? And why someone like Berserk Liger of all people, someone who had already brutalized her once before! She looked at Nuo with a snarl, before taking a breath, fists clinched. "Anyone who calls you a dumbass is an even bigger dumbass, but I already know I'm a dumbass so I'll say it!" She pointed a finger at Nuo. "DUMBASS! FUCK ARE YOU THINKING!?"

She paced around the ring some more, frantically muttering to heself, before stopping and repeatedly punching a turnbuckle. "I'll kill that Liger, kill her dead! Deader than dead!"

Nuo smile completely changed as she startled a bit from Skylar's rant as she watched her pace around the ring. "C-calm down, it's not-" Before she could try and reason with Skylar, her friend called her a dumbass and continue pacing around the ring. "There's nothing to get so upset about..."

She bounced herself off the ropes and try to follow Skylar and watching her using all her anger against the poor turnbuckle. Raising both of her hands in front of her and grab both of Skylar's shoulders as if she was giving a massage. "L-let's not do that... You shouldn't send more people in the hospital..."

"I'll send whoever I fuckin' want to the hospital!" Skylar growled, continuing to punch the turn buckle. As Nuo massaged her shoulders though, she took a breath, calming down a little. "Why would you take a match like that? You know how it ended up last time, I just... don't wanna see you get hurt..." She sighed, turning around and giving Nuo a hug. "Sorry for losing my temper..."

Nuo was caught off guard as Skylar surprisingly hugged her, apologizing along the way as she hug her friend back. Patting her friend's shoulder as she let out a awkward laugh, trying to shrug off Skylar's hospital threat. "Haha... It's fine- If you want, you can watch me from the side..." She offered.

Skylar hugged Nuo tightly, doing her best to control her emotions. She was so worried for Nuo, so furious at Liger. She wanted to break that woman's bones to splinters. She thought of all the things she'd do if she ever got her hands on Liger. Stomp her into concrete, painting the street red with her blood, using her broken body as stationary to compose a letter to all of LAW on why fucking with her friends is a bad idea.

And then, Nuo made her an offer. "Th-that's it! We'll cheat! I'll slip you some red mist, and you'll pin her easy as pie! If things get ugly I'll just jump in!"

Nuo's expression changed almost immediately, as if the mood was ruined due to Skylar's idea. "Let's... Not do that..." She said with a blank face, slowly shaking her head at her friend. "Just don't do anything, watch me from the ropes- Nothing else." She explained, waving her arms almost like a manic to try and explain Skylar to not give a single scratch on her opponent.

Skylar grinned with an idea to solve the seemingly impossible problem before them, only for it to be shot down. Nuo didn't want to cheat, and she couldn't be moved. She was set on fighting this match clean. "B-but what if you lose? She'll hurt you, and-... Skylar sighed. Her mind raced for ways to potentially talk Nuo out of this, but drew a blank. She leaned her head on the turn buckle, anxiously tapping her foot. She didn't want to see her friend get hurt again...

"I may have lost to her in the first match but I promise that I'll win this one." Nuo said, acting confident as she had her hands on her hips as she puff up her chest. "I've been a couple of rough matches before~!" Still giving a bright smile to Skylar, jumping up and down to try and draw her friend's attention.

Skylar looked up from the turnbuckle, facing Nuo. The look in her eyes was that of a parent facing a naive child, optimistically believing their was hope when there was none. Nuo would be truly helpless in the hands of Liger, a sadistic woman who would happily send her home on a stretcher.

But there was no talking her out of it. So, Skylar would support her friend. She'd be with her at ringside for the hellish match, and she'd help her prepare for the POW session.

"Alright then." She sighed, feigning a smile as she hugged Nuo. "Give 'er helll..."
