Submission war !! Katherine "Drifter" Scarlett vs Susumaru Sasozira "The Cobra"

Cobra was too deep in her grip that she would not have heard her opponent's response, and when she least expected it, her movement was stopped by a blow to her face, rather.... An elbow against her face, making her lose her grip and fall to the canvas, showing herself exposed to a possible attack by Drifter.

Drifter was glad to be able to breathe again. Cobra's strength had taken her off guard as she had nearly squeezed the fight and what almost felt like the very life out of her. Thankfully after a stiff elbow, Drifter was able to finally fight for her freedom, forcing her serpentine themed foe to release her slender waist from the constricting grasp.

Now released, Drifter quickly spun around, trying to land a stiff kick towards Cobra's stomach, looking to make her double over. If that worked, she hoped to hook an arm around her neck, looking to fall back and DDT her. If successful, she looked to wrap her legs around her waist and lock in a guillotine choke!

Susumaru after that blow really did affect her, seeing everything blurred, it was easy for her to be caught and placed in a move that soon turned into a guillotine, and leaving her now in as bad a situation as in the first round, with her fighting not to lose consciousness, showing herself quite disoriented and easily noticing that she was in trouble.

Cobra was struggling, and Drifter could feel it, slowly wrapping her legs tighter around her waist, looking to clinch her deeper into her choke. Needing three minutes might have not even be needed for this hold, as it looked like she might be able to squeeze Cobra out and score a 2nd point in this increasingly difficult submission war with the Cobra.

As such, Drifter's ankles slapped together, as she looked to increase the pressure, putting a deeper squeeze upon her serpentine themed opponent!

Susumaru was looking for an option to break free, but it was looking increasingly difficult, until she felt Drifter finally block the grip and with that, all hope of getting out was dead, Tapping as soon as she felt she would be finished, Susumaru was getting worse and worse, and if she failed to win the next one, it would be the end of the fight.

Drifter gasped out... releasing Cobra the moment she felt the tapout! It was another point to her... meaning she only needed one more to win! Drifter gasped out again, taking some deep breaths as she rolled away from Susumaru, giving her a chance to recover as well as herself. She was ahead for the time being, but was aware it was now another added minute needed to trap an opponent... plus, Drifter knew she was slowly getting more tired. She could hold out against holds... but escaping them would be increasingly difficult.

The Ref called out the score... showing it was 2 points to Cobra's 1! Cobra had some work to do... but Drifter knew she was more than capable of doing it.

"You ready?... Let's do this!" Kay called out, wanting to make sure Cobra was ready before they began to latest round of their submission war!

Susumaru when she released her grip, hit the canvas furiously, not only had she lost the Round, but now she was at risk of losing the fight, so when it was time to get up, she would take her courage and look determinedly at Drifter, preparing herself without saying a word, before she started jumping up and down in her position, looking like she was up to something.

Drifter frowned, seeing that Cobra began to jump up and down in a curious manner. She had no idea what she was up to, but slowly she began to advance upon her, keeping her guard up at all times. She waited for a moment, looking to see when Cobra would next jump, before she advanced, looking to try and tackle into her core, no doubt in an attempt to bring her opponent down to the ground if she could. She had no idea what Cobra had in mind though, knowing as she went for it there might have been a counter in her mind.

Susumaru needed to give an air of hope to the situation, and when he noticed that Katherine didn't know what he was up to, he would be with a plan in mind, keeping his stance, Susumaru would soon launch a jump as soon as he saw that Katherine would pounce to attack her, throwing his kick to try to hit her in the face, if that went well, Katherine might fall or give Susumaru the opportunity to make a move.

Drifter gasped out, getting caught out by the stylish strike from Cobra. With Drifter driving herself forwards, it amplified the attack, making Drifter's head snap back as she gasped out. She lost her footing and collapsed down against the mat, holding her head in pain. Drifter was left stunned from the attack, allowing Susumaru to make a potential move upon her!
