Re: Bats, Blades, and Bushido (Hakune vs. Saya)
"A-Aah..." The fall was neither graceful nor braced, Hakune landed flat on her stomach with her body and head in an aching mess, sprawled out on the mat as she groaned. The crowd was in a worried murmur at her state, and the only signs of her being conscious were the occasional movements her rocking joints made as she breathed. To say the fall was pain would be a massive understatement, and all the while Saya loomed over the Samurai, her giggles and teasing words barely audible to the white noise of pain Hakune endured from her crash.
"Graah!" It was only when a harsh pain exploded in her side her did the Samurai come to. Her eyes flew open, staring and looking about frantically as the world came to. Before she could even utter a word she was forcibly yanked up to her feet by the hair, yelping under the strain her scrap endure. The next thing she knew, she was one a course right to the corner, and little could stop her moment.
"Waaaa- Gruoo!" And the crash had the audience wincing along with Hakune, immediately clutching her face as the pain shattered all other thoughts.

Re: Bats, Blades, and Bushido (Hakune vs. Saya)
That match was turning to be a true delight. For all her bravado and righteous words about honor or sportsmanship Hakune was turning out to be a weakling. Saya was not only pummeling her rival but feeling so great wghile doing so. The crowd’s awkward silence as she did so only made everything better because Saya could hear Hakune’s cries of pain. It wasn’t like she revelled in the samurai’s demise. After all, Saya was no monster. No, it was something more atuned to putting that goody two shoes face on her place, and for the moment her place was the corner of the ring against the turnbuckle.
“Are you not entertained???” Yelled Saya at the people quoting a movie in a corny way. That showed how the woman saw herself, like the protagonist of a story, the hero waiting to receive the people’s love after she punished the wicked ones. After paying some attention to the crowd she returned to her rival, dragging her from the scalp to the center of the ring. Hakune was having a hard time just to stand. Heck she just looked like she was going to lose consciousness, and her wobbly standing only made Saya happier. “What’s the matter samurai? Your ‘true self’ turned to be slightly disappointing. Maybe I should give you a free shot! Hahahaha!” Using Hakune’s own words against her was only a way to further humiliate her. Of course Saya had no plans of letting the samurai hit her, but she was too distracted having fun with her rival to make it end quickly.

Re: Bats, Blades, and Bushido (Hakune vs. Saya)
"A-Aaah..." It took everything Hakune had to fight the urge to writhe and let the tears show. It hurt. It hurt so much. Saya's brutal toss had Hakune seeing flashes of colors beyond just the light. And no matter how much she clutched and rubbed her face the shock and pain refused to disappeared. And all the while Saya laughed. Even in Hakune's dazed state and fading hearing she could hear the foul woman's cackle ring out.
"H-Hngg..." Hakune bit down, her teeth gnawing against each other. She couldn't let pains stop her. She couldn't let this woman just use her body as a canvas for her sadism. She had to stand. Her returning hearing could already hear the small murmurs of worry from the crowd. She... she couldn't let them down. "H-Haah..." She placed her hands on the mat, pushing herself up.
For a moment, the crowd was silence, quietly watching the young warrior get to her feet, witness her force herself to rise from all the harsh punishment her body took. "I..." She propped herself on one leg, pushing herself to a standing position. "I'm not done!" At her declaration, the crowd let out a surprised gasp, some in awe, some in shock, and some in bewilderment.
"Haaaaaaah!" But Hakune pushed it all aside, making a mad charge right for Saya as she taunted, arm reel back for an elbow strike that'd carry all the strength her battered body could manage!

Re: Bats, Blades, and Bushido (Hakune vs. Saya)
Anyone with good judgement would tell you that kicking a hornets nest is a pretty bad idea, and that the moment a beast is more dangerous is when it is cornered. Well, Hakune wasn’t a beast, more like a true fighter and she had been cornered in the match. Adding some humiliation to the mix would only strengthen the samurai’s resolve to make a comeback and anyone with a good judgement would know that. Luckily for Hakune, Saya wasn’t particulary famous for her good judgement, more for the lack of so.
Losing some time taunting her rival and the crowd proved to be a pretty bad idea since that time Saya should have used to pummel Hakune and securing and easy win the samurai used it to recover, and not only that but to rush forwards in a furious attempt to start a comeback with a resolved look on her face and a yell of defiance in her lungs.
The next thing Saya noticed was Hakune’s elbow going towards her in a way she couldn’t avoid being hit in the upper part of her midsection. The samurai was battered and bruised, but adrenaline was serving her well since the impact was pretty hard and threw Saya on her back with violent force. Upon impacting on the canvas with her back and then with the back of her head Saya remained there a little dazed, still more impressed by the raw strength and sudden of the move than pained, as if trying to wonder what truck just hit her and why without realizing she was completely open to any follow up Hakune could have in mind.

Re: Bats, Blades, and Bushido (Hakune vs. Saya)
The Samurai's strike rang true, her elbow crashing right into Saya's torso and slamming her down, arrogance paid for with a sharp blow. "Ha..." And soon after the strike was made Hakune bent down, gasping as she earnestly caught her breath. A blow like that would take a minute to recover from. Hakune's strike might not be as strong as some, but catching an opponent off guard would always give more weight to a blow or maneuver. And at the sight of the turnaround the crowd rang out in cheers. For a moment, the Samurai let herself experience victory. "YO-SHAAA!" Hakune pulled herself upright raising a fist in celebration as the crowd reached a crescendo, but it was short moment. There was still a match, and still an opponent to punish further.
Her eyes turned back to the Saya, seeing her down and dizzy. It was the perfect time to continue the assault. "Yaah!" And she wasted little time, taking a short running start and jumping to the air for a legdrop right at Saya's neck and torso as righteous retribution.

Re: Bats, Blades, and Bushido (Hakune vs. Saya)
Saya found great pleasure in getting some rival with a heavy gimmick like that one and humiliating her in the ring, showing her as only some weird character but no fighter at all. But there was some finesse neccesary to the act of humiliation. Getting too short would make one be seen as not powerful enough and some sort of idiotic bully, but going too far could have a negative effect since instead of nullifying the rival’s willpower one risked giving the enemy strengthened resolve. And that was exaactly what happened with Hakune. In her efforts to ruin her fighting spirits, Saya had made the samurai look like a resolved and strong fighter as she overcame difficulties and threw Saya away.
That wasn’t the end of it though. If Hakune had the crowd’s heart when she was the underdog now that she was making a comeback the people roared in approval at Saya’s demise, and that would only make her resolve even stronger. For some instants Saya thought that she really needed to get up, but she was still staggered in surprise to properly evade, and that proved a bad decision when Hakune arrived from her running start, jumping in the air to land with a beautiful legdrop on Saya’s neck and chest. “Uaaaaaagh!” Saya writhed in pain as she could feel her grip on the match fading to the crowd's delight. “Damn you!”

Re: Bats, Blades, and Bushido (Hakune vs. Saya)
"Haah!" Dropped her leg down with all the weight and momentum her small body could muster, forcing a loud cry and bitter retort from Saya as her blow connected. At the same time, the crowd was in a fervor, cheering on their underdog as the match was finally moving her direction. And that support had Hakune's heart swelling. I... I can do this! This wasn't like her match with the Baroness. This wasn't a mismatched affair of the strong bullying the weak. No, as rude and rowdy as Saya was being, this was turning out to be an honest fight against an opponent that was earnestly trying to prove who was stronger. Still, Saya's snarl had Hakune's eyes narrow.
"Say what you will," Hakune stated. "I told you, this is my true self. Now..." With her leg still draped over Saya's neck, Hakune quickly moved her other leg under her opponent's head and neck, setting up for a headscissor. "Kakugo, Saya-san!" It was the only warning she gave before tightening her legs around Saya's neck for the headscissors.

Re: Bats, Blades, and Bushido (Hakune vs. Saya)
Things had gone south pretty quickly and it didn’t look that was going to stop anytime soon. Saya had Hakune just where she wanted seconds ago: battered and with her willpower broken. Everything had been on the right track to make that match a powerful statement for the batting woman, so what went wrong so the tables were flipped in such a short time? Now the Samurai was looking strong and resolved, all the crowd cheering for her comeback instead of being impressed with Saya’s display of strength, and all that was at her own expense!
From her position there wasn’t much Saya could do. Hakune was still resting against her neck and Saya was having a bad time, writhing in pain from the impact of the legdrop, but things were just about to get worse. There was a sudden moment of realization when Saya noticed Hakune’s other leg wrapping around her neck. “N-no! Wai-!” Her words cur short when those legs locked around her head depriving her of a last mouthful of air. Saya thrashed around as much as she could while groaning in pain and despair, all her bravado gone now that she was subjected to a painful hold.

Re: Bats, Blades, and Bushido (Hakune vs. Saya)
"Yaaaaaah!" Hakune gave Saya no room for a verbal comeback, squeezing her legs tight around her opponent's neck and doing all she could to maintain the hold she had on her arrogant foe. And the crowd cheered on, chanting Hakune's name as she forced her opponent to struggle against her thighs. She might not be the most technical wrestler out there, but even she could make a headscissor a painful experience, especially for such a rude rival!
But as her opponent struggled and flailed about, the hold got harder and harder to maintain. Hakune's legs were probably her greatest asset next to her speed and decent flexibility, but against a thrashing opponent like Saya, the drain on her stamina was hard to ignore. Even now Hakune's breaths started to turn labored as she held Saya's neck in place. "Grrrn..." Her eyes narrowed, gritting her teeth as she tried making the hold worse by lifting her legs slight, forcing Saya's head and neck forward to add to the discomfort. "Surrender, Saya-san!" She shouted, her tone almost desperate let out a heavy exhale. "Don't make me hurt you further!"

Re: Bats, Blades, and Bushido (Hakune vs. Saya)
The situation was starting to go from bad to really, really bad for Saya. The batting woman had a lot of character and charisma to add to the LAW league, but her actual wrestling skills were a little rough on the edges yet. What she lacks in real talent and skill she tries to overcome with inventive and resourcefulness, adding a layer of improvisation to her fighting, but that only served to some point. It totally looked like she had crashed against that wall. Hakune had managed to survive her barrage of hits and used a moment of smug boasting from Saya to turn things against her, locking her in a headscissors that was making a good share of damage already.
“G-haaaah” Saya saw no way out as her low groans of pain and gave away how dire her situation was. Despair was sinking in as she started feeling lightheaded from the lack of oxygen. But when skill failed her inventive would take over, even if that meant bending the rules a little. As some kind of last resort Saya noticed her rival’s thighs pressing against her cheeks, and trying her best to conceal her face from the referee she would sink her teeth on Hakune’s flesh, desperatedly making a last try to get free.
