Why Hello Neighbor - Katsumi and Asuka Wakahisa

Of course tickling would be the answer. Tickling is almost always the answer. It's also the rarest card for Katsumi to play. But here, in this particular situation, it seemed like the right move. And boy did it ever pay off. Asuka's unfurled and having to change tactics instantly!

Her 'opponent' gets a little distance between them, thanks to that foot pushing against her, but Katsumi isn't backing down! Asuka appears to be in a bad, vulnerable position before her, with Katsumi crouched on all fours like a jungle cat. A jungle cat with one sock.

Dark green eyes flick to the garment pulled taut between Asuka's hands, then the girl's face, repeating a couple more times. "You wouldn't dare..." Whether Asuka would or wouldn't is ultimately pointless. Katsumi intends only to give her a second or two after making that claim before throwing herself onto her, hands going for her wrists to try to pin her down taut beneath her!

Receiving a momentary reprieve she scoots back on the floor, giving the sock a few threatening tugs to show she meant business. Her legs tucked inward, knees almost to her chest as she once again took up a defensive position. "You brought this on yourself! You were suppose to bring balance to dinner time, not delay it!" She grits her teeth in anticipation for the next inevitable move from her hostess.

As Katsumi pounces, she meets the woman with her feet, planting the soles of each squarely on the woman's shoulders to extend her legs enough to hold her at bay. She would take the sock in one hand, giving it a small flick to try and whip Katsumi in the face with it. Her own garment used against her. What a cruel twist of fate. She'd try to get away with this more than once, but buffer real whips with feigns to try and keep the other girl guessing.

Katsumi meets with a pair of feet, held at legs' length! Her arms pinwheel wildly, comically in the air as she attempts to grab at Asuka and her prized, precious sock. "Some matters are more important than food! Like love!" She strains against Asuka's feet, her toes scooching against the floor of the apartment. "Love of a really good sock! Pffpht!"

That last part happened when a foreign sock nails her in the face. At first, she doesn't know how to react. Who would? Her hands immediately swipe at the offending garment, and in an instant, she realizes this is not the sock she was looking for. So she switches tracks and, though delayed, feigns such force from the blow that it whips her head back. She stands stiffly for a moment, before dropping flat to the back in a sprawl.

Similar to Asuka's previous performance, Katsumi lies there with arms and legs splayed and head turned aside. Eyes rest shut. After a couple seconds, her near eye peeks open to try to assess Asuka's level of involvement.

"Well I love food! Do you see where the conflict of interests is?!" Her legs wobble as Katsumi is held at bay, but for how long? The other girl is able to push herself slowly in before Asuka assaults her with the sock. Like was like being a lion tamer at a circus. Down girl, no, back! With the next expert blow with the fuzzy garment, Katsumi is defeated... or so it would seem.

Asuka craned her neck to peer over at Katsumi. She won? She carefully rolled over onto her hands and knees to crawl over to the other girl. Gently, she laid the sock down over her face, just as she had opened her eyes. Whoops! "Hi." She sat cross legged beside the other woman, hands in her laps as she grinned innocently. "Pizza?" She raised her eyebrows, nodding. This was a good idea! It took someone of a superior intellect to devise this, surely. Just to be sure, she idly jabs Katsumi in the shoulder with a finger repeatedly to rouse her.

Katsumi's eye opens and- plop -sock lands on her face. She crinkles her nose and struggles to maintain the facade, despite the indignity of the situation.

It lasts only for the first three to four prods to her shoulder before Katsumi abandons her charade and shoves the sock off her face. "God, alright, fine, you're like the neediest kid ever!," she fusses, with absolutely zero sincerity. In tandem with this, she rolls onto her side and swatswats a hand at Asuka's prodding finger.

Rather than go through the process of putting on the other sock, Katsumi just stands and toe-nudges the other sock off her foot to pad bare soles over to her phone. The device is retrieved, and she finally begins punching in some information. "Alright. So, one large sausage pizza is being delivered over here. It's got about half an hour," she announces.

"I"m not a kid." She blows a raspberry at Katsumi. She withdrew her hand at the swat, waving it out as if she was just stung by something. She quietly watches Katsumi work her way up to get the food train rolling again. Waiting until her back is turned, Asuka collects both socks. She rolls one up, stuffing it into the other, then folds it back in on itself so it forms a tight ball of socks. From here, she waits.

Scooting around to face Katsumi, she waits until the girl had finished ordering before soft ball tossing the wadded up socks at her head. "Thanks!" Conflicting messages.

Announcement made, food already paid for and allegedly being prepared now, all is right in the world. They now have a timer.

"Ahn!," yelps a startled Katsumi as a soft bundle bonks off of her head. She whirls to face Asuka with a glower, knowing full well what just transpired. "That's it! I knew we weren't done!"

Their impromptu struggle begins anew just as quickly as it had ended before. Katsumi throws herself at Asuka, attempting to bear the girl flat to her back beneath her. Only this time, Katsumi is hoping she won't have a ready defense available! As before, she attempts to capture Asuka's wrists to pin them at either side of her head.

Asuka busts into laughter, clapping her hands on her knees at the reaction. She has to even bring a palm to her eye, the potential of a tear welling up. This time she was unprepared for hurricane Katsumi, being tackled to the floor awkwardly as her legs, still crossed were pinned down as they were. She blinks up at the woman looming over her, giving her arms a small shake. It wouldn't have been hard for Katsumi to capture her wrists as intended.

She lay flat on her back, wiggling her fingers in a small attempt to wave as she tests the push back she gets from trying to force her wrists free. "... I didn't do it?" She grins sheepishly as she wiggles, trying to at least untangle her legs from beneath Katsumi. It wasn't exactly comfortable to have them smooshed down like that. "The socks just leapt from my hand... I think your apartment may be haunted."

Success! At long last, success! Had she just managed to accomplish this feat earlier, she could've wrested the sock away from Asuka and claimed victory for all Katsumi-kind. But now Asuka doesn't even have the sock. She just has a Katsumi atop her. She can feel the girl's legs squirming, and can figure why. Her legs shift about, giving Asuka the chance to uncross hers and at least have some modicum of comfort whilst being pinned. But once that's done, Katsumi attempts to grapevine her legs with her prey's to keep her from wriggling away. So she lies atop her, holding the girl's wrists to the floor at either side of her head, chest pressed to chest, hips to hips, and legs possibly tangled, her face hovering over hers.

"Tsh, don't go flinging socks at people and then wuss out! At least own it!"

There's only one thing left to do to assert a win over her new neighbor. She's confident that professional wrestling is ingrained in the culture enough that Asuka will understand what's going on.

"One. Two," she counts off.

Winced as she squirmed her legs free, breathing a small sigh of relief as they finally got out from under Katsumi. Her brow knit with confusion as she felt Katsumi's legs brushing along hers, hooking them then in a slightly familiar way. She let out a small yelp as her legs were drawn to either side providing her no room in which to move. "H-hey!" She tried to wiggle, to squirm, to force her arms up, but she had allowed Katsumi too much freedom and found herself trapped now.

Her cheeks redden as she stared up at Katsumi, struggling in vain as this woman, who for all she knew was some random fan, was pinning her in an apartment. Was she really this terrible? She jerked from side to side, seemingly unable to wrench herself free no matter how hard she ties. It would be an easy three count for Katsumi, her first since signing with LAW. Likely the only time in history a match was once with one move, that move being the pin that won it. How embarrassing. "Nnngg..."
