Wisteria vs Ashley

Sheena had no idea what had happened, where she was, or where Ashley was. The last thing she managed to remember being herself and her opponent making it up to the top of the corner, falling and then.... oh. She had been hit with the bitch drop. From the top of the corner. Managing to make the realization in spite of the firestorm of pain swirling in her head Sheena was able to take a few other observations from her place on the floor, namely that they were outside the ring, Ashley was only a few feet in front of her, and the ref was counting her out.

Wait. "3! 4! 5!"

'The ref is counting me out!' Eyes snapping open in spite of the pain Sheena began struggling as best she could, which was to say barely. Everything hurt, her body a total wreck from this and her last two matches. Even as she pushed herself as hard as she could it was all Sheena could do to lift herself a few inches off the ground before lurching forward, laying at Ashley's feet now. But that wasn't enough to stop the count.

"6! 7!"

Time was running out, and for a fraction of a second Sheena wondered if she should just stay down. After all even if she managed to beat the count would she really be in a state to continue? Yet as she thought of just accepting defeat, images of her cousins flashed through her head, thoughts of what Kyoko would say if she could hear Sheena's thoughts right now, and the fire inside Sheena lit up brighter than before. She was hurting yeah, she may not have much of anything left yeah. But until she physcially couldn't stand... no until she had lost consciousness all together, she refused to accept defeat.

"8!"

As the ref's count climbed higher Sheena's hands shot up grabbing hold of Ashley's knees. If successful she would try and pull herself up, her biceps screaming in agony as Sheena clenched her teeth to keep from moaning in pain. If successful Sheena would use Ashley's body itself to haul herself up to her knees, leaning her head against the blonde's hips. Panting softly as she pushed her feet into the floor Sheena weakly pushed herself up, dragging her face up Ashley's body, pushing past her breasts and ending up with her chin on the blonde's shoulders, barely escaping defeat by getting to her feet, albeit barely at the count of nine!

"You're not... through with me... yet.." Tiredly speaking into Ashley's ear Sheena continued to use the woman as a way of keeping herself up, knowing that she wouldn't be able to stand otherwise. One arm hanging loosely around Ashley's waist the other clenched into a trembling fist before shooting into the side of Ashley for a punch that wasn't even half of Sheena's full strength, but in her current state it was the most she could manage!

As the referee's count began Ashley would stand by Wisteria's feet and look down at her. Usually you would step away from your opponent during a count since you're not allowed to interfere with their attempt to recover, but Ashley frankly wasn't of mind to remember that as she was far too focused on making sure that Wisteria didn't get up, and even if she was she'd probably want to preserve energy anyway. The younger fighter would soon prove why Ashley should have stepped back as she grabbed Ashley's knee and started using her opponents body to climb back up to her feet! Of course it wouldn't have been all that difficult for Ashley to push her back down, but if she did then she'd be disqualified.

So instead Ashley was forced to watch as Wisteria dragged herself up Ashley's body to get back to her feet at the ninth count "D-damn it..." Ashley panted out. But even though Wisteria had managed to make her way back up she wasn't exactly in her prime condition, so even when she rammed her fist right into Ashley's side the blonde was able to take the attack relatively unharmed, though it did force a pained hiss through her teeth as Ashley's face scrunched up "gggh..."

Wisteria had proved her toughness again and again in this relatively short match, not to mention the other matches leading up to it in the tournament, and Ashley had a feeling that even in this state she wasn't going to be finished off with just any old move. So whether it was out of caution of her endurance or respect for the fight she had put up Ashley decided that she was going to finish this match with something special. So Ashley would raise a knee to Wisteria's abs to try and force her to hunch over before wrapping an arm around her head for a headlock. Should she succeed in locking it in she would then fall back into a seated position while dragging Wisteria with her and wrap her legs around her so that one leg was choking her and the other was wrenching on her back "This is it!" Ashley both declared and prayed.

This hold was a Peruvian Necktie; a Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu move that Ashley had borrowed for her new Submission finisher that she dubbed The Bitch Knot! If Ashley was to be honest she had actually been saving this move for a rematch with her rival Belinda Northman, but Wisteria had proven herself to be a worthy opponent to debut her new finisher against to end this match; and this tournament!

Panting exhaustively against Ashley's neck Sheena would hang onto the blonde for dear life. Her body was hurting all over and close to giving out, but her spirit was refusing to let herself drop down. But even with all the fighting spirit in the world, it meant nothing if you didn't have the physical power to follow it up with. In this case Sheena's body, as hurting and weak as it was in its current state, was only able to send weak punches to Ashley. A meek attack, but one that was all that she could muster right now, and one she prayed was effective given how hurt Ashley probably was as well.

But Sheena wasn't quite that lucky. Even despite her best attempts, both at striking against Ashley and at trying to stay standing would meet its end at the wall that was keeping her standing, namely Ashley herself. Before she knew it Sheena was pulled down by Ashley back to the floor. This time however rather than a slam or other such move it appeared that she was being pulled into a submission move.

But unlike anything else that happened in this match... Sheena had no idea what Ashley was doing. The other moves Ashley had performed she had expected or knew of in some way and she could at least prepare for them in one way or another before hand. But whatever this hold was, as Ashley got her legs up and over her and she felt the hands constricting against her throat, it was new, foreign and completely different than anything Sheena had ever experienced before and as a result... there was nothing she could do to defend herself against the hold.

"NGHHHH AGHHHH!" Yelling into Ashley's body Sheena instinctively began struggling and thrashing in the hold, unknowingly making it all the worse for her. The more she struggled and fought, the harder the hold seemed to close in on her, and the less amounts of oxygen seemed to flow through her. Before she knew it everything seemed to be slowing down, the world around her and the movements of her body itself. Likewise the world was getting darker and darker, and it wasn't because of Ashley's outfit. In moments Sheena's resistance died down to little twitches and spikes of movement, before her body grew completely still within Ashley's hold, completely and totally unconscious as a result of the surprise submission the blonde had pulled out.

This was it! Ashley could feel it! As Ashley fell back and dragged the limp body of Wisteria along with her she was able to lock in her debuting Bitch Knot! Ashley felt Wisteria struggling to break free of the hold, but given that this was literally the first time Ashley was using it and that the Peruvian Necktie was a very rare hold to see in wrestling Wisteria didn't know what she was being locked in and didn't know how to counter! All the purple haired woman could do was try to thrash her way out of it, but as exhausted as she was all this did was tire her out further and bring her closer to unconsciousness. And sure enough within the next few moments Ashley would feel her pass out within her legs.

Once Wisteria was out Ashley would uncross her legs and allow her body to flop against the mat as the referee declared Ashley's win by knockout! Ashley was filled with absolute elation; she wanted to scream with joy and jump around and bathe in the adoration of the fans as they cheered her name, but after a match like that she would instead join her former opponent in lying weakly against the mat. Even so there was a huge grin on Ashley's face as it started to dawn on her that she'd won! Her first time participating in a major event at LAW and she won!

Knowing this there was no way she couldn't address the audience so she would force her way up to a sitting position with a groan, taking a moment to catch her breath before pumping a fist into the air with a yell "Yeeeeeeeaaaaahhhhh!!!!" As she yelled her cry would be met with arena-shaking cheers from the audience; most of whom were fans of the blonde, but even those that weren't couldn't keep silent after a fight like that! The referee would come down and help Ashley up to her feet, raising her fist to declare her the victor!

After a big win like this Ashley was ready to celebrate, albeit after a considerable amount of bed-rest, but before she left there was something she had to do. Wrestling was essentially a show that the fighters put on when you get down to it, so after the two of them had put on such a great match together it didn't feel right to just leave Wisteria knocked out in the ring. So Ashley would crouch by Wisteria and would attempt to rouse her awake "Hey, let me help you up."

Ashley wouldn't make any mention of the match or how it ended, she knew how bad Wisteria must feel right now after coming so close to victory only to fail, she would instead just offer a hand to help the woman up. If Wisteria allowed Ashley to help her up then she would take an arm over her shoulder to support her weight before beginning to walk the two of them up the ramp, the two of them equally being cheered as they made their exit.
