Larum Douglas vs Miranda Tomi - The Big Dance

Miranda broke out quicker then she expected, either because Larum was ill prepared to press the attack or because she was simply too quick in escaping. In this instance she wasn't concerned with the why of it, only the fact that she was free for now and could go right back Larum. This time she would make sure that she wasn't so easily pulled away out of surprise and would seek to rush her and keep her down.

By the time she was on her, Larum had a better guard but Miranda wasn't going to stop attacking, trying to see how she could break her down by throwing a few elbows down at her head. A brutal way to go about taking control but this way she was certain she would rock her a bit and keep her from pulling away or trying something else.

Larum had been able to give herself a short delay from Miranda's attack with her bodyscissor, but once she had dealt with that, Larum knew she was going to have to weather a storm. Miranda came down with elbows aimed at her head, which Larum was thankfully able to block with her arms. But even though her head was safe for the time being, her arms were quickly beginning to sting.

"Ugh" Larum groaned as Miranda rained blows down on her guard. Her opponent seemed determined to crack open her defense and get to her head. Larum knew she had to do something before that happened, and she came up with a plan. Miranda was only targeting Larum's head, so immediately after she blocked an elbow, Larum would try to shoot up, grab Miranda by her shoulders, and pull her down.

If that worked, Larum would then try to roll over so that she was on top of Miranda, then try to sneak a quick grapevine pin to nab a quick win for her debut!

Miranda wanted to see how much it would take to bring Larum's defenses down and was prepared to hammer away at her to get it, she was sure she was reaching the end when she watched her struggle and fail to properly mount a defense but her frustration was starting to show at how she was unable to take full control of the match. Laruma noticed and just when Miranda found a rhythm she was grabbed and turned around with a sudden motion and force she never anticipated.

"W-Woahh!" Miranda screamed when she was quickly pushed to the floor looking up at the lights. Larum sat on top of her and tried to grapevine her legs pinning them to the floor but by this point the shock wore off and Mira would start trying to push against Larum. "Cut that out!" Mira struggled pushing up and trying to stay off her shoulders when the ref looked down to see if she was pinned.

Larum's plan to slip free of Miranda's assault and reverse the position worked. Larum went on top as Miranda was forced down on bottom. The orange haired girl wrapped her legs around Miranda's and stretched them apart as she tried to cover for a pin, but the belly dancer was able to use her strength to push Larum up off of her.

Miranda pushed Larum up to the point where they were both seated on the mat. Her grapevine wasn't doing anything anymore, so Larum untangled hers and Miranda's legs and decided to roll back and get back up to her feet. Larum assumed Miranda would get up quickly as well, and once she did, Larum would try to kick Miranda's shin to knock her back down.

The struggle on bottom proved that neither one of them could fully take advantage, Miranda was strong enough to keep herself out of a pinning predicament and Larum was too clever to be caught or let her moves be broken so quickly. Larum eventually decided to start over, letting her go and moving away so she could stand up, Mira would move to do so as well falling slightly behind her, and whens he did get up she was stopped before she could rise when Larum took a swing at her shin with her foot.

"Yaagh!" Mira shrieked when her balance was lost by the kick, tripping up and soon falling back down to a knee. She avoided falling completely but Larum was getting ahead of her, and all Mira could do was try to keep her away by throwing a punched from her kneeling position aimed at Larum.

Larum was able to successfully leverage her superior speed in the scramble to land a kick on Miranda before she could get up and respond. The belly dancer was forced down to one knee, and now Larum wanted to capitalize. She leaped at Miranda feet first, looking to wrap her legs around Miranda's head and tackle her with a flying headscissor.

"Ugh!" But that was interrupted when Miranda threw a punch that tagged Larum square in the stomach and stopped her cold in midair. Larum wasn't surprised that Miranda made an attempt to stop her attack, but she was stunned that the belly dancer could generate so much power in her punch from down on her knee and off balance. Larum was sent falling onto the mat, clutching her belly.

Larum was way too quick for her, she thought she was somewhat fast but Larum had her beat easily. She thought she was going to try something and saw her leap up with Miranda acting mostly after seeing her jump at her caused Mira to do something of a panic strike. But her punch actually hit something she didn't expect catching her right on the belly with her fist and causing Larum to drop without doing whatever she was attempting and saving Miranda some embarrassment.

"Wow...lucky break I guess." Miranda admitted seeing Larum clutching her belly in pain, she knew that she didn't do well enough to get her like that herself but now that she had her she had to keep it up. Miranda would move in to Larum's side and wait for her to start getting up before she would move in and aim for the her head with a low dropkick.

Larum was speeding around and flying through the air as she prepared to launch a big attack that would set her squarely in control of the match. But then one fist was all it took to turn that on her. All it took was one punch from Miranda, and Larum crumpled, along with her attack. Now it was Miranda's chance to take control of the match.

"Urg," groaned Larum as she started to get up. Larum knew that her body was rather frail for a fighter, but she couldn't believe that a simple off balance punch to her stomach was enough to do this to her. But things would only get worse. As Larum got up, she was knocked back down again by a dropkick to her head. "Ah!" Larum helped as she went from clutching her stomach to her head.

Larum was hard to hit but once she did hit her things really picked up for Mira, first her punch floored her and her dropkick seemed to knock her back down. All that and Mira could finally feel like she was making ground in this match that she had to follow up on. Taking a second to make sure she could pull it off she stepped past Larum and would go to the corner and climb to the second rope, or more specifically jump off it to perform a quick moonsault.

Flying through the air she was going right for Larum, knowing landing on her like this would not only hurt but slow the agile dancer down. Completing her fully spin in the air if she landed safely on top of Larum she would waste little time pulling on her leg and trying to go for a pin.

While Larum had enjoyed making ample use of her speed advantage in the opening minutes of the match, now Miranda was having her turn with her strength advantage. Miranda had hit Larum twice, and she had knocked Larum down twice. The belly dancer hit hard, and the ribbon dancer did not appear to have the resilience to take it.

Then Larum looked up, and saw Miranda setting for a massive aerial attack. Considering how she had taken Miranda's previous hits, if Larum allowed this one to connect, it could very well end the match on the spot. Larum had to get out of the way. She got her arms and legs underneath her, though made sure to stay low to the ground. Then she kicked off to the side, rolling out of the way just before Miranda could land on top of her. Larum rolled again to gain some extra distance before getting up slowly, with heavy breath.
