Mizuki Sakura vs. Rin Misumi [D]

Landing on top of Rin, Mizuki winced before she even knew the results of her move. She felt bad about targeting such a sensitive spot, but she realized it was a concession she would need to make if she expected to go anywhere in this match - and besides, she knew that Rin would show her no mercy of her own. At the same time, that same fact was a cause for concern. Mizuki knew she'd place herself in a position where she'd be vulnerable to a counter-attack, and she didn't know what to expect from Rin there. All she could do was throw herself forward and hope for the best.

The girl turned her head to the side, averting her gaze as though afraid of what she'd see - and even then, she squeezed her eyes shut tight just to be safe. But instead of striking back, or snaring Mizuki in a hold, Rin cried out in pain! With a gasp of surprise, Mizuki turned back to face her bustier foe, seeing her still reeling from the impact. At first, she stared in shock - she didn't realize it would actually work. She was holding the top position, which to her was a feeling so unfamiliar she had to stop for a few seconds to process it.

But she quickly shook that thought out of her head. There was no use in letting herself get distracted - she had an opportunity in front of her like she'd never seen before! Sucking in a breath, Mizuki readied herself. She brought her hands to Rin's shoulders, looking to hold them against the mat in the hopes of securing a pin! That was how it worked, right?

Though it took Mizuki a while to process it her attack was actually fairly successful against a fellow loser like Rin. Rin laid there as Mizuki got ontop and pinned down her shoulders before Rin started kicking. "Get ooooofffffffff!" Rin whined like a pouty child before starting to kick wildly and rocking back and forth.

"One!" the referee counted, seeing Rin's shoulders held against the mat. For Mizuki, this was a rare opportunity indeed - she had actually managed to keep a pin held in, even for a single second! Her body shook with labored pants, but a smile began to work its way across her face regardless. For the first time, she actually felt like she just might stand a chance.

Of course, it was only a second later when that hope would be dashed - as Rin began kicking and rolling. With the thrashing of her body, Mizuki couldn't hang on; her body lurched from side to side on unsteady balance, and finally, as she took a boot to her gut, she was thrown backward, letting go of Rin's shoulders and landing on her back. Sputtering and groaning, she began to push herself up on her elbow, rubbing at her side with a wince. "O-Oww..."

Rin was held down for one count by her fellow pathetic wrestler before her kicking and whining actually payed off when she managed to kick Mizuki off, although accidentally. "Ha, that'll show you! No one holds the invincible Rin down!"

Mizuki winced, the pain still lingering in her side as she rolled herself up onto her knees. She took in a few gasps, trying to get the air back in her lungs, though her shoulders rose and fell with each breath she took, and her head hung low under the weight fatigue placed on her shoulders, causing her to bend over at the waist. All the while, she heard her opponent's taunts, and she shuddered. She had no idea that Rin didn't know what she was doing. Whatever she was doing, it was working on Mizuki - and the brunette's teeth clenched in a grimace; she saw no reason to doubt her when she called herself invincible! She could only wait in terror of what might happen next!

But so far, she had actually managed to stand up to Rin, if only by a little. She had to stay confident and keep her head up. "I'll...I'll at least try-!" Mizuki called out, though the wavering in her voice betrayed how anxious she truly felt. She lifted herself back to her feet, bending in at the knees to adopt a stance. At the same time, she caught a draft and heard the wolf-whistles from the crowd, reminding her of how exposed she truly was. Mizuki blushed, hugging her arms a little closer to herself. She wished this didn't have to be so awkward.

Rin stood and watched as Mizuki showed clear signs of fear while she shuddered and hung her head low. Rin smiled smugly as Mizuki declared that she wasn't done. "You can try, but you'll fail!" Rin said while sticking her tongue out at Mizuki. As her opponent kept her body low down Rin ran at her and leaped, trying to tackle Mizuki to the ground. What Rin would actually do if her tackle was successful? Eh, she can figure that part out later.

Mizuki clenched her teeth, sucking in a breath as her hands balled at her sides. She remembered what Nikki had told her - she still couldn't expect to win all, or even most, of her matches, but she could still give it her best shot. She could still try! Doing her best to assume a confident look on her face, she took one step forward, closing in on Rin...and promptly was tackled off her feet as the girl shot out at her, shoving her to the mat!

"GAH-!" Mizuki landed with a thud, her arms and legs kicking up in the air around her as she flailed in a desperate bid to get Rin away from her. She seemed to forget everything she had learned already. It was hardly the most dignified or coordinated of moves, but she was in a panic, only concerned with freeing herself as quickly as she could.

Rin was successful in taking Mizuki down to the matt as her foe cried out beneath her. The lucky loser smiled as she was about to lean in for a smother.

It was then that Rin's opponent rocked beneath her thrashing Rin onto the canvas. "Uuuugh. Just give up, you dumb biiiiitch!" Rin said in a whiny, entitled tone

Rin had succeeded in throwing Mizuki to the mat, but before she could get any offense in, the brunette struck back, kicking her legs blindly in the air. It was little more than her survival instincts kicking in - Mizuki didn't have anything in the way of a plan. But by a stroke of luck, it was enough to keep Rin off of her, as the white-clad girl fell back!

Mizuki rolled up on her side, panting for breath. She stared at the prone and protesting Rin, not prepared for what she was seeing. Mizuki was seeing far more success than she'd ever had in her career up to this point, and she was barely even trying! And all this against an opponent that had boasted of being the best around? Maybe Nikki's training really had done something for her.

Hearing Rin's groans, Mizuki shook her head. "No! I can't...not now!" She didn't want to be here, but she was faring better than anyone had ever expected. For the first time in perhaps her life, Mizuki felt like she had a chance. She wasn't going to back away from that now!

Her mind raced, thinking of what she could possibly do. Rising to her knees, Mizuki slid in closer toward her opponent. As she came into range, she would reach outward to try and get her arm around Rin's head, pulling the girl into a headlock as she inadvertently dragged her toward her modest chest!

Rin laid on the canvas as Mizuki inched closer after refusing to submit. Rin was pulled up by Mizuki into a mediocre headlock but against someone like Rin Mizuki's hold on her neck was like a watermelon getting hit by a sledgehammer. Rin got irritated as Mizuki held Rin's face near her breasts as the purple haired girl shouted. "Let go of me! Itty bitty titties!" The bimbo yelled as she reached her arms up and tugged on Mizuki's hair.
