Re: Fairy Hunt: Thea Asters vs Atalante Pallas
So far the match had gone about as well as Thea could have hoped. Granted she'd been locked into hammerlock almost immediately after their test of strength, but at the very least she had managed to turn things around for her benefit. Not only by managing to escape the hold, but even using it to her advantage to send Atalante flat on her back with a ripcord clothesline!
Smirking down at her opponent Thea had to admit the feeling of sending the other blonde who to that point had outwrestled her was pretty nice. But she couldn't relax just yet. After all she had the huntress down, but it wouldn't be for long and she would need to press her attack before even thinking of getting a table ready.
Besides... she still had a grip of the Grecian's arm. So with her hand firmly over Atalante's wrist Thea would attempt to roll her opponent onto her side. If successful she would drop down to press her knee onto her opponent's head where, if she was able to the fairy would also shift her arm to wrap around Atalante's before wrenching back for a kneeling variation of the armbar!

Re: Fairy Hunt: Thea Asters vs Atalante Pallas
Atalante had been taken by surprise to say the least. She hadn't anticipated that she would be nailed with a ripcord clothesline. Having simply expected to be sent running by the fellow blonde wrestler to the ropes, where she could find a way to pay her back for escaping her hammerlock. Instead it was the Huntress that was on her back now....groaning out a bit as she brought her free hand to rub at her chest a bit.
The cat-eared wrestler wasn't free though and she couldn't pull away before Thea decided to roll her over onto her side and then pressed her knee down against the side of Atalante's head. "Gnn..." She angrily grunted out at the sudden pressure that soon came with her arm pulled into that armbar variation. She kicked her leg down against the canvas a bit, before she would try and reach up with her free hand and try and grab at Thea. Trying to find a good place to grab a hold of her and try and yank her off.

Re: Fairy Hunt: Thea Asters vs Atalante Pallas
Thea sighed softly in relief as she reclined back from her vantage point, yanking Atalante's arm back in the process for a brutal arm bar variation. 'I'm lucky that clothesline seemed to get her by surprise. Luckily it's just what Thea needed in order to secure the early advantage. That facet alone feeling like such a difficult thing to achieve in this match.
But she had managed it. Atlante however was naturally not one to allow Thea to have her way without a fight. Seeing the woman's free arm come snapping backwards Thea would step backwards, mostly letting up on the submission hold in favor of trying to main her advantage. To do Thea would try to twist the Grecian wrestler's hand in a wrist lock, trying to pull Atalante back up to her feet against the girl's will with a wrist lock!

Re: Fairy Hunt: Thea Asters vs Atalante Pallas
Atalante struggle and tried to free herself, but it didn't take long before Thea abandoned the hold and instead began to pull the cat-eared wrestler up! Wincing as she was held tight with that wrist lock and guided up towards her feet. Though, Atalante already had a plan working now, as she got up towards her feet she would flip forward and try to roll out of the twist of the wrist lock. Swinging back as she would try and swing Thea along with her.
Trying to pull and drag Thea down onto the canvas with a Arm-drag! Though Atalante would try and hold onto that limb as she did. Quickly snapping her legs up and trying to wrap them around that arm and drape them over Thea's chest as she sought to smoothly transition into a standard armbar and put a painful crank and stretch onto that arm.

Re: Fairy Hunt: Thea Asters vs Atalante Pallas
Thea had been in control so far and she aimed to try and keep it. First and foremost by keeping the pressure on Atalante's arm that Thea had already been working on with her armbar. Trying to keep her grip on the Grecian's wrist Thea attempted to pull and guide the woman up to her feet with a wrist lock. The hold was tight and Thea assumed she would be able to do so successfully and follow up easily enough.
Or so she thought. But Atalante was more clever than Thea had initially given her credit for. Before she could fully get the woman up, Thea found herself being pulled forward and off her feet, smacking into the mat with a arm drag! "Ngh!" Crying out softly from the drop Thea was easy pickings as her opponent pulled her into a armbar of her own!
"Aghhh!" Screaming loudly in pain from the hold and immediately clutching her shoulder Thea instinctively began scrambling with her legs, attempting to adjust her body and drag herself closer to the ropes, attempting to get close enough that she could stretch her leg out and try to get her foot onto the bottom rope!

Re: Fairy Hunt: Thea Asters vs Atalante Pallas
Swiftly the cat-like reflexes allowed Atalante to take advantage of Thea's attempts to keep her trapped in that wrist-lock to pull the Fairy down! Dragging her to the canvas with that arm-drag, practically tossing her onto her back with the force and torque that Atalante was putting into that throw.
The Grecian wasn't done though! She quickly snapped her legs around that arm and pressed them over Thea's chest to pin her firmly to the ground. All the while arching a little off of the canvas as she began to hyper-extend and bend that arm. Locking in a brutal but simple arm-bar. Without a doubt a deadly move to be locked in for too long, but to Thea's credit she recognized that right away and began to violently fight to free herself.
The kicking and fighting from Thea as she fought to free herself was without a doubt annoying to Atalante. Yet, the Huntress held on. Ramping up the pressure of the Armbar and trying to make sure it caused as much damage to that arm while she still had her locked in. After a few moments though Thea managed to kick her way towards the ropes and snag her foot over the bottom ropes. Atalante clicked her tongue, removed her boots from Thea's chest, and rose up, as she did she would place her boot on Thea's wrist to keep that arm pinned. Releasing it with her arms and standing up straight, before she would drop down and drive her knee into the elbow joints of Thea. All the while the ref counted up to a three count for the rope break, after the brutal knee...Atalante would roll away, avoiding a DQ and letting Thea get a small breather.

Re: Fairy Hunt: Thea Asters vs Atalante Pallas
The bout so far between Thea and Atalante had been relatively even. Both blondes managing to do solid amounts of damage to the other, even exchanging submissions between the two, dealing damage to each other respectively with limbs and pulling of a vicious nature between the two.
However it appeared that the Grecian had managed to secure a more steady advantage than Thea with the arm bar she had managed to secure. As despite reaching the ropes relatively quickly, Atalante was using the full scope of the three count to do as much damage to the Fairy as possible. Namely in the form of dropping her knee painfully down onto Thea's elbow for a brutal move!
"Gah!" Thea cried out in pain, kicking her legs against the mat in response to the move from Atalante and knowing she had no choice but to try and withstand the move until the referee finally forced Atalante to release her and back off. "Thank goodness.." Thea said to herself, choosing to roll her way under the bottom rope while clutching at her arm as she landed on her feet outside the ring. After all she knew that this was the best way to avoid further damage from her opponent, and would be the best way to set herself up to strike back. Something she kept in mind as she looked up at her opponent with narrowed eyes, already planning how she would attempt to fight back. Besides this match was a tables match... if either of them wanted to win this, than their battle would have to spill to the outside regardless. So she may as well get a head start on it now.

Re: Fairy Hunt: Thea Asters vs Atalante Pallas
Some may have seen Atalante's moves as cruel. Perhaps they even were, most face wrestlers would probably give up the second the count started. Yet Atalante simply saw herself as being pragmatic. It was one of the reasons why Japan had been a location she wanted to wrestler in. Here using the count wasn't seen as a bad thing, you were seen as playing by the rules. It was when she started breaching that count that things went beyond the scope of what was acceptable. When she cheated to get a win, in ways the referee couldn't see. Using the count was simply using the rules to your advantage.
Shaking her head as she got up to her feet, Atalante would roll her arm back and forth. Making sure her own limb was without much damage. All the while watching as Thea rolled out of the ring and then scowled at her. The Grecian would give her a slight smile back. " If you needed a timeout you could have said so." Atalante said as she would lean forward, placing her hands on her knees as she gave Thea a nod. " Feel free to come back in. I don't bite. Much..." the cat-eared cockily spoke as she would bring her right arm forward and gesture for Thea to get back into the ring.

Re: Fairy Hunt: Thea Asters vs Atalante Pallas
Thea panted softly as she rolled out of the ring following her new found freedom from Atalante's submission hold. It was brutal and vicious to keep it on longer than necessary but honestly? Thea didn't blame her one bit. She would likely have done the same against Atalante had the positions between them been reversed. But right now she was at least able to take a breather as she rolled out of the ring, assessing and planning out what she should do next. After all Atalante was just as if not more skilled than Thea herself but at least seemed to hold no significant strength or speed advantage, that was a plus at least. As well as the match type...
'Oh there's an idea.' Thea thought to herself as she smirked up at her opponent still in the ring. "Actually, I think I'll be extending my break in that case if it's ok with you." She said sarcastically before suddenly jumping down and dive underneath the ring apron below, going straight under the ring! If she managed it successfully Thea would hide their for a moment, hoping to bait Atalante after her. But while under the ring she was also looking for something very particular. "Ah here we go." The blonde said to herself with a grin.

Re: Fairy Hunt: Thea Asters vs Atalante Pallas
Atalante would roll her eyes at Thea as she spoke back to her. It seemed as if she wanted to take the battle outside but then suddenly she dove in under the ring. The Huntress would click her tongue a bit, she couldn't say she was the biggest fan of this kind of tomfoolery. Though she figured that it being a tables match...Thea may be going for a weapon. However, waiting in the ring wouldn't exactly do her much goo either.
The Grecian would take a moment, tapping her foot on the canvas as she folded her arms underneath her chest. Then she began to walk to the side of the ring that Thea had hid under. She jumped up and over the ring ropes, landing on the ring apron and then dropped down. She would back up...and then lean down. Trying to pull the ring apron up to see where the fleeing fairy had gone to.
