Gabrielle 'Gabi' Pelletier is an shy, no-nonsense young woman and a hard worker. Not the most outgoing person in the world, she is generally polite and friendly towards others if they treat her the same, but has a mean streak reserved for anyone she really doesn't like. She keeps her head down and does her best to improve her wrestling-craft, doing her best not to let adversity get her down.
History:
Gabrielle was always enamoured with wrestling from a young age, and wasted no time joining her high school wrestling team as soon as she was able. However, sheer enthusiasm was not enough to hide the glaring weakness that soon became apparent - Gabrielle Pelletier had a shockingly low threshold for pain. In practice and in matches any holds that caused the young Quebecois any meaningful pain would virtually immobilise her. After losing a string of school encounters almost single-handed a thoroughly chastened Gabi was booted off the team, her hopes in tatters.
Undeterred, Gabi began looking to the pro-wrestling scene instead, determined to get into the sport she loved, no matter what the haters said! She trained hard and soon was given entry level opportunities in the local scene.
Although her hard work resulted in her being strong for her size and having good technique, Gabi's pitiful pain tolerance remained a constant handicap in her budding wrestling career. It became quickly apparent in her appearances in the local circuit that if she could not maintain control in a match more often than not a handful of moves from an opponent would be her undoing. Many fans were treated to the spectacle of Gabrielle tapping out on multiple occasions as she was unable to handle even the most basic submission manoeuvres.
Despite this, Gabi continues to try and hone her craft, becoming a complete glass cannon of a wrestler who can dish it out but can't take it. Leaning into her her own strengths and weaknesses, she focused on all out offence and eventually carved out a reputation as an entertaining wrestler whether winning or losing. Accepting a contract with the Ark Triumph academy, she is still determined to succeed, and hopes to someday improve her toughness and endurance... though how long that will take is anyone's guess!
Gabi joins LAW as a member of the Young Lionesses Program.
