Submission war !! Katherine "Drifter" Scarlett vs Susumaru Sasozira "The Cobra"

Susumaru was ready and excited, when the second round started, Susumaru would find herself being hit quickly, blocking the blows well, she would soon find herself surrounded, being held by her hip, she knew what to expect, so when she was lifted, she would place her hands to catch herself, denying the full force of the impact as she moved fiercely to get free.

Cobra was able to negate the worst of the impact of the slam, somewhat catching herself and impressing Drifter as she could not help but whistle out at the display of deftness. Cobra was already slipping away before Drifter could capitalise upon her, and all of a sudden the two of them were at a reset. Drifter brushed herself off a little, once again raising her guard with powerful fists. She had managed to pepper Cobra with a few strikes, but nothing solid had caught her yet.

Cobra was getting serious, and Drifter knew she would have to be careful. Keeping her guard up, Drifter would once again approach, trying to grapple with Cobra to try and grasp her in a headlock if she could.

Susumaru would think that she was calm, and it was partly true, but what matters is that she wanted to show her ability, so once standing, Susumaru would run at full speed against Drifter, only to at the last second come down to go straight for the legs, hoping to make her fall and grab her feet.

Drifter moved in to strike, her speed impressive as she tried to throw a quick haymaker towards The Cobra as she approached. Committing a little too much to her swing, Kay's eyes went wide when Cobra was able to shift downwards at the last second, leaving Drifter's attack to strike at nothing but the air. It put her at a disbalance, allowing Cobra to take advantage of her situation, as the woman went straight for her legs.

Drifter gasped out, being taken down to the ground in an instant by a well placed tackle, yelping as Cobra began to reach for her feet! All at once the Canadian realised she was in some trouble!

Susumaru had managed to position herself with Drifter's feet in a maneuver that admittedly seemed rather stupid, but now that she had control over Drifter's legs, Susumaru would take advantage of the situation.

So she would take her position and stand up, turning around before performing a Four leg lock, squeezing Drifter's legs hard, she wanted to see how far the cobra would go with the defensive power of the legs.

Kay gasped out, as Cobra began to reveal her expertise, managing to tangle Drifter's legs amongst her own. Drifter had become famous for not giving up or tapping out, but she did not need to for Cobra to score a point, she only had to keep her locked up for 2 minutes! Right now, she had a killer lock with the figurefour, forcing Drifter to scream out loud as it was locked in hard.

She tried to reach for the ropes, struggling to get free. The longer she spent within the hold, the closer to a victory point Cobra would recieve, and the weaker Drifter's own legs would become!

Susumaru knew how lethal the grip was, so squeezing tighter was something he would only do out of malice, but Susumaru would only do enough for Katherine to feel the pain, Susumaru would then see that girl still fighting and wanting to get to the ropes, so knowing he couldn't allow it, Susumaru would slowly lift his legs, using his body to support himself, and let the grip start to float, wanting to prevent Drifter from moving too much.

"Aagh! Crap!" Kay gasped out, as she could no longer reach the ropes, trapped in a deep figurefour leg lock! It was not in her to tap out, but she could not escape either! It was well past a minute by now, meaning one more minute within this hold and she would lose a point to Cobra. She shouted out in pain, unable to free her legs from Cobra's deadly lock. There was little she could do but endure as the timer slowly ticked down!

Susumaru had the grip in the best possible state, and although his sweat showed that it was costing him a lot of work, his smile also told him that his chance to take advantage in this round was also close, so when he noticed how Drifter was having trouble, Susumaru would place the palms of his hands on the canvas, before starting to lift his legs to increase the pain that his grip could cause.
I suggest you do Tapping, at this rate your legs will look weaker in the next Rounds!!!.

"I.... don't tap...." Kay managed to somewhat giggle through the pain when Cobra suggested that she give up. No doubt her opponent had a good point, but... Drifter was not known for giving up. She had often been subjected to some terrible and vicious submissions, and not once had she ever given up. Tapping was simply not in her vocabulary!

That said.. even if she did not give up... Drifter was all too aware she could still lose a point. It had been way past a minute and there was only one more before Susumaru would be given the victory point. Drifter reached for the ropes, feeling Cobra crank on the hold, making her shout in pain as she tried to stretch herself. Drifter would begin to pull herself, stretching her arm out, feeling like she was edging closer....

Just when her fingers began to brush the ropes... the bell sounded out! 2 minutes had passed with Drifter being trapped in the figure four leg lock! It meant that Cobra now had caught her up with both ladies having a point each in the match so far!!
