Athena Wonder vs. Scarlaheart - Red and Red Don't Mix

The sheer disrespect that Scarlaheart had displayed to Athena seemed to irk her even further, and she had decided that she wasn't going to lose in such a lame way. As Scarlaheart returned into the ring, Athena pushed herself up, grunting in pain as she would crawl towards the ring, trying to keep herself moving despite the counts.

"EIGHT!"

"NINE!"

Mustering her strength, Athena reached up to the apron, and letting out a yell, Athena pulled herself up before hoisting herself back up into the ring, and the moment her feet left the floor, the referee was about to count to ten. Seeing that Athena had returned into the ring, the referee stopped the count, and Athena would keep herself there, holding onto the ropes.

She checked her imaginary wrist watch after coursing two sides of the ring, turned away to face the ranks of rats as Athena crawled. Her eyes fell on them, watched as she threw herself up and the count was only nine.

〝God, what’s your deal!〞She pivoted, shouted at the referee with a stomp, her hand outstretched towards the sprawled out Athena.

〝The bitch was clearly out there for ten. You tryna work one over on a Reinhardt? That insolence will get you hurt! Ghhh…〞

Her head tilted, cheek postured against her collar as she mumbled, sighing out, 〝Guess I’ll just have to finish you off properly…〞Her lips pursed as she rolled shoulders, strode slowly, about a foot or two from the ropes where Athena lay. A hand raised, gestured her stance, swiping up again and again; her base widened, a hand on the drawn back knee and waited for that one moment…

When and if Athena had the guile to stand, Maria would turn her feet, give her back, then complete the spin with a lifted knee pointed at Athena; her standing foot exploded off the ground and whipped towards their cheek for the Mtk — Finisher: Tornado Kick!

Athena had managed to hoist her up onto the apron despite her current condition, and now that the match would continue in the ring, she slipped through the ropes before falling down onto the mat. Gasping and wheezing, she would grab onto the ropes to pull herself up. Her body was aching after everything that she had taken from Scarlaheart, and it looked like her opponent was displeased with this turn of event where she failed to win this match via countout.

Grunting, Athena would exert her strength to pull herself up even as Scarlaheart prepared herself for her own attack. It felt like her opponent was waiting for the moment when she was on her feet, and despite her current state, Athena knew that there had to be something she could do here. She would force herself to get back up onto her feet, groaning all the while. She wasn't exactly young and this body wasn't as nimble as it used to be, but she refused to lose like this.

Once she was on her feet, Athena saw Scarlaheart coming in with a spinning kick, and the mature blonde tried to duck, avoiding the kick. Scarlaheart's foot would sail above Athena's head, and she saw an opportunity for retaliation. Yelling out, Athena would extend out her right arm before charging towards her opponent, looking to hit her with a mighty lariat. Though even if the lariat counter was successful, her current state would cause her to fall down onto the mat

Her hands rested on her bent knees; she stalked them. Small shuffles throughout, but little more than to aim when they took their feet. Seeing them lumber to the canvas dropped her chin; her hands dangled like vines, and she sighed, “You should’ve stayed in the retirement home.” Those eyes now sharpened into razors. The wait choked her patience blue and sweat formed in the creases of her fingers. But when they finally stood, and she took that leap, Maria merged all that frustration into one swing, yet could only divide the air.

Athena had her back when she landed and given enough time to turn around and take that lariat. “GAAH!!” Her chin whipped towards the lights, a wad of spit shot out, and her legs swung overhead. She flipped from the explosion, crashed chest-first onto the mat, then her arms, stomach, and then legs followed. Everything was black. If not for her eyes smothered into the canvas, the shadow of her head and curtaining hair blocking the light, but the way her eyes felt warm, fuzzy, tired. That feeling like a rapid-spreading infection that took seconds to capture its host slapped her. It would take forever for her to plant a single hand on the mat and push. For now - she fights herself.

Athena's lariat was a stuff of beauty as if it had turned Scarlaheart inside out from its sheer impact. Seeing her opponent flipping from the sheer force of the lariat, Athena looked at her opponent, who was down on the mat with her face on the canvas. Feeling quite an adrenaline rush, Athena let out a roar, getting the crowd to pop for her. She might have gotten older, but her strength was still something to behold, especially after she brought Scarlaheart down with the lariat earlier.

While Scarlaheart was on the mat, Athena decided to take advantage of this as she would run towards the ropes, looking to rebound from them. With her back hitting the ropes, Athena launched herself back towards her opponent, who was presumably still on the mat. As she got closer to her, she would perform a feat of athleticism that seemed impressive for someone her age with her stature as she would perform a perfect flip into the air before landing right on top of Scarlaheart with a running senton!

The arm flatlined all her senses. She was inside a dark place, her arms left to paw the canvas, cheek yet to realize it smothered into the canvas. Neither could she tell which way was up. Where was left, where was right. Noise was but a buzzing ache that she winced at. Both hands pressed flat on the canvas, fingers splayed, yet when she pushed, it felt like she’d try to re-direct herself mid-air, and nothing happened. Her forehead dipped down, so her chin tucked, and she sucked in a deep breath, held it, and choked as her arms rattled. The thumps sounded like her racing heart, oblivious to the meteor that crashed right into her back. Her breasts were first to flatten, and her stomach punched the canvas. Eyes and mouth gaped, spit flung as she squealed and wrung her lungs dry. The crash left her motionless, unmoving, and with an empty gaze that stared ahead, her chin on the mat, needled red hair over her eyes, and those splayed arms twitched every so often…

Landing right on top of Scarlaheart with a running senton, Athena could see how devastated her opponent was. Thinking that it was the right time to finish her off, Athena picked herself up and grab her opponent by her head and wrist, pulling her back up onto her feet. Once she brought Scarlaheart back onto her feet, Athena would make sure that she was doubling over before her before she stuffed her head between her thighs, putting her into a standing headscissor.

From there, Athena would reach down to her opponent's waist before lifting her up. Displaying her impressive strength to the crowd as she hoisted Scarlaheart up, she would keep her aloft for at least three seconds before sending her down with a devastating powerbomb! The fall from such height would surely inflict devastating damage that would be too much for her to pick herself up from. Athena would even go for a sitout position as she powerbombed her opponent, looking to inflict as much damage as possible on her.

The senton left her car-wrecked. Perhaps a liquid splatter did her body justice, puddy in the hands that gripped her and pulled her up. Those knees dug together, the awkward grind of bones and joint stung, but lesser than the tightness of her thighs that couldn’t muster a stance. Her arms draped at her sides, more muscle-bags than limbs, without bones or nerves. She’d glance up, only to catch a seconds-worth look into their eyes before being stuffed between their legs. 〝gahh…〞The impact spiked her inflamed shoulders, the wrap around her waist made her nauseous and the pull onto Athena’s soldiers turned her pale. She clenched her teeth, looked down one last time with that disapproving stare. The delay mustered a momentary smirk, as she heaved out, made a fist, but never found the time to dial it up. Her world turned to the lights, then it was snubbed out. The impact whipped her head into the mat, her spine became a noodle and her innards felt minced. She gave a girlish yelp as the force bounced her off the mat, her frame stiffened, then dropped like rain. Her arms fell above her head, folded in her pool of red hair; hips between their thighs, and shivering legs rested up their body, feet peeking just over their shoulders. And her eyes shut, save for a small peek at her sclera, mouth ajar, contorted into this pained frown as drool seeped out the corner. There was an early-morning groan, one last twitch and a weak croak〝A…Ah…hhhh〞

Powerbombing Scarlaheart into the mat, Athena took a good look on her face and she could see the devastating effect of the move. Knowing that she couldn't exactly give her opponent an opportunity to get up from this, Athena would then make sure that Scarlaheart's shoulders were on the mat as she would go for a prawn hold pinfall attempt as she would hold onto her legs.

Seeing the pinfall attempt, the referee would come over and start counting for the pin. Sliding next to them, the referee started slapping the mat, counting. Athena would make sure to keep her eyes on Scarlaheart's face to see if she could kick out from this or not. After the powerbomb, kicking out was unlikely, but Athena wanted to be careful regardless of that.

Scarlaheart had a soul but nobody to command. The powerbomb flipped the switch, and she’d been shattered into a million pieces. It would take hours before that could amend, where she’d be able to stand or even open those eyes. Three seconds didn’t make a difference, and neither did holding her legs. There wasn’t a muscle in her shoulder that wasn’t liquid or eye that had the strength to twitch. She only breathed, shallow, hair folded inside the corner of her mouth, drool and the passive groan almost like a snore. Her head turned one way, so a cheek nestled into the canvas, and spit now seeped as the count reached one. Then two. And …
