Not all attention is positive attention, Leon. Sometimes it's better to get no reaction than it is to have made a spectacle of yourself like you have today.

If you really want people to meet you with sincerity and if you really want to go about things the right way, talk to people one on one and approach them sincerely. If you're kind to others and invested in them, they'll return the favor and reciprocate that kindness. At least, I truly believe this community will.

But please stop lashing out like this. You won't get anywhere just publicly complaining at the entire community this way. If someone doesn't return the favor the way you want them to, just move on and approach someone else.

Making a thread like this when something doesn't go your way isn't going to get you anywhere.

Above all else, please remember that no one owes you anything. We don't know what your past experiences are like and we don't owe it to you to give you positive attention where you feel you're owed. You can't just ask people to make you enjoy this. It doesn't work that way.

I don't think that's true. I'm sure being positive and genuine will yield results if you go about it the right way. Bring your positivity and earnest effort where you feel it is appreciated. Try talking to a few different folks. I can only offer that advice and encourage you to try things the correct way.

At the end of the day, only you can decide if this community is right for you. If you do decide to explore other options, that's okay. I just hope you find a place you're happy with even if that place isn't here.

Listen Buddy, I get what you mean but this is the wrong place for "lasting friendships" etc.
This is all anonymous, everything you know about someone could be a total fake. Of course I consider some of the people here as buddys and friends, talking about our diffrent countries and stuff but it is a hobby. You can't expect for people who have maybe 10 match+ to immediatly write back and doing everything to make you feel good. Most of the people give a rats ass about how you feel, it is like that. You are a number for them yes but you can become more but not with this attitude. Be nice, be intrested, be yourself and don't whine about how everyone has to give YOU a good time because this is not what LAW is about. I met some great people, some I even consider friends and you know why? Because I did'nt cry around and just be myself.

I used to be the same way. Mention the term "LAW Powerhouse" anywhere on LAW and watch everyone groan in unison. Long story.

I'm at where I'm at because I kept at it. As winner says, there's plenty here who would jump at the chance to RP with you. In fact. I noticed something about you: You're most active part of the forum is the intergender ring. Guess what, my boy? You are looking at (not to toot my own horn here) one of the kings of the intergender ring! Do you know how much I jump at the chance at intergender wrestling? Look up the word "Faith" on the LAW forums and see what you find. See anyone familiar?

I don't want a lasting friendship or anything like that, I just want to hear at least something like; "Don't stop, I actually enjoy the RP" or "You're a nice person, and I'm glad you're here to share yourself with all of us"

I don't want to sit there and have an RP that slows down then all I get is factory attitude.

Don't sit there and treat me like I'm a number. Don't talk to me like I'm just a part of a list. That's just beyond rude.

Dont treat me like a lover, but don't go so far as to be blank. It sounds like you've NEVER had the issue I'm dealing with so your own hostility isn't warranted.
Pride's hostility might be, but you just sound stuck up and lucky as all hell to not be a number.

Don't ask someone to be nice to you, if you're not going to be nice. Because that itself is just wrong.
