Victory by pinfall or submission.
"You don't need to fuss over me, Doc, c'mon!"
Julie Dykstra-Liao stood in the LAW locker room, trying to get into her usual pre-fight shadow-boxing routine. The operative word there was "trying," because her manager, Dr. Christina Morgenstern, was currently buzzing around her without a single care in the world for her own well-being. The wunderkind-turned-manager was currently doing yet another of what had seemed like a thousand pre-match check-ups, this one focusing on her attire for the night. Which was, like, the part that she should have been least concerned about. She was literally wearing the same getup that she did for a hundred online MMA tutorials, con appearances, and even a few semi-pro matches.
"Shouldn't you be spotting Leonie on her lifts? Or, you know, working through Louise's pickiness for matches?" Julie huffed, tossing out a quick jab-cross-uppercut but being forced to swerve around Christina's head in the process. If she didn't love Christina to death for helping her get set up here at LAW, she might not have minded hitting her... too much.
"Julie, you woke up 3 hours ago and had to Uber to the stadium because the trains were too packed." Now Christina was peeking down Julie's shirt, only blushing slightly as she checked for what Julie figured could have been wardrobe malfunctions waiting to happen. Admittedly, Julie couldn't really be annoyed by that one, given the fact that she'd literally pulled her fightwear out of the dryer 2 hours and 59 minutes ago.
Julie's Match Attire
Christina stopped staring into Julie's cleavage, looking above the frame of her glasses with an exasperated look. "That fight was against a popstar from Sacramento who had probably never thrown a punch in her life. Tonight, you're going up against an actual LAW wrestler from Texas who's tapped or knocked out more women than all the rest of your opponents combined." If only her manager knew how cute she looked with her face all but stuffed into her tits...
"Tonight's next match is scheduled for one Standard fall..."
Deciding that her pre-game routine was as finished as it was going to get, Julie started to walk towards the gorilla position. "Yeah, what's that about, anyway? Like, the Country vs. City angle? Doesn't that seem a little... juvenile? And unnecessarily divisive?" Every so often, Julie felt the need to playfully remind the former psychology professor that she wasn't a ditzy brunette and, indeed, had nearly ranked top in her class at one of the world's top universities. But this wasn't entirely that -- she did genuinely think that the angle was a little weird.
"Yes, but not in Japan. SoCal and Texas are two of the four places in the States that basically everybody knows, no matter where they live. So LAW Marketing wanted me to go with that for our social media and visuals." Christina was following Julie now, and the brunette streamer could just feel her manager's gaze on her ass. "I'm not saying you have to ham it up, but-"
"Please give a warm LAW welcome to a first-time wrestler, a debutante from San Francisco, California...
"Girl, you know me," Julie giggled. "I'm all about hamming it up in front of the camera." Then she turned around and walked down the entrance ramp.
"The Notorious J.D.L. herself... Julie Dykstraaaa-Liaaaao!
Julie's Entrance Music - All That I Know by Moosh & Twist feat. Hoodie Allen
And, Julie thought as she stepped in the ring to begin her LAW career, soon she'd have a pretty damn good claim to number 1, if all went well.
To help with that, Julie didn't just walk to her corner. No, she paraded around the ring, blowing two-handed stage kisses to anyone in the audience who cared to look. An audience member near the front row actually called out her name, or so she thought. "Huh? Oh, yeah, DM me on Twitch-" She was just about to offer the apparent fan of hers a free 6-month subscription to her Twitch channel as thanks for his support when her opponent's entrance music started to sound throughout the arena.
