A Storm’s Open Challenge Alizeh Midori vs Mary Clarisson

Alizeh watched and waited patiently as Mary crawled towards the ropes. Given her respect for the bluenette Alizeh wasn't gonna be willing to attack her while she was down and out, heck if she could she would wait it out until she was on her feet again but it appeared as if that wouldn't be the case. Raising a eyebrow Alizeh was a bit surprised, not believing she did that much damage to her leg. Either way she could only stand idle for so long before doing something.

Deciding she gave enough time to Mary to rest Alizeh decided to go on the offensive. Turning she ran the rest of the distance to the ropes behind her and opposite to Mary. Rebounding off them Alizeh ran full speed at her opponent and leapt up in the air. Extending her legs Alizeh aimed to come down on the seated Mary chest first with a double stomp!

Mary was resting on her rear end, being in the Leg Lock for a time which felt like an eternity, her leg felt like it was on fire. Throughout this, Mary was watching Alizeh, trying to see what kind of maneuver her green Haired opponent. Knowing Alizeh, she wasn't just going to sit around and let Mary rest all day. Alizeh was way too smart of a wrestler for that. And then Alizeh made her move, coming straight at Mary.

Knowing she didn't have much time, Mary used the ropes to pull herself hopefully out of the way. "Please don't be predictable Alizeh!" Mary would declare if she was able to make Alizeh miss. And then Mary would try to kick at Alizeh's leg with her good leg, hoping knocking the Green Haired Girl off balance.

Alizeh had charged forward at Mary after giving the bluenette a decent amount of time to recover. However even with said time to try and get back to her feet Mary seemed incapable of doing so but Alizeh was far from charitable or gentle. So leaping up the greenette went for a drop kick straight to the girl's chest when Alizeh believed her to be vulnerable!

But to her shock Alizeh watched as Mary managed to get out of the way! "Ugn!" She grunted out landing in a awkward sort crouch only to have her legs kicked in causing the green haired girl to collapse onto her back, her head smacking into the mat making her wince. Holding her head Alizeh's legs hung outside the rope leaving her stunned and temporarily vulnerable to her opponent!

Somehow, Mary had managed to get away from Alizeh's attack, and made her land on her back with the kick to her feet. Mary was in a complete fight or flight response, the infamous trope known as the Wounded Gazelle Gambit. Mary still had only one good leg, she wasn't going to risk standing on it. So Mary decided what her next move would be.

She crawled over to Alizeh on all fours, and when she got close enough, would attempt to wrap her arm under Alizeh's chin and put her in a Dragon Sleeper. It was an unconventional Dragon Sleeper but it would have to do.

Alizeh groaned softly from her failed attack on Mary and subsequent fall from her legs being taken out from beneath her. Naturally this gave her blue haired opponent the perfect opportunity to pay the greenette back!

"Gah!" Gasping as she felt Mary's arm around her neck Alizeh groaned and knew she had to do something to get out of this immediately knowing how devastating Mary's sleeper based offense was. Reaching to her side Alizeh tried to grab hold of the leg she targeted with her earlier knee bar. If she got a hold of it then Alizeh would start to send elbow strike after elbow strike into the limb to try and force Mary to let go!

Mary quickly went over to Alizeh, knowing she had a clear opportunity to take advantage off, knowing that Alizeh was clearly stunned for landing on the mat. Mary tried to lock in the Sleeper Hold, Dragon Variation but Alizeh managed to grab one of Mary's legs, the one damaged by the knee bar, and repeatedly elbow strike it. Mary screamed when every elbow strike connected, causing her immense amounts of pain.

Mary let go, falling on her rear end and holding her knee in pain, this felt terrible.

Alizeh gasped as she was released from the grip of Mary's dragon sleeper. Even if only locked in for a short while the girl's sleeper submissions were truly nothing to underestimate, after all even being in the hold for a seconds was enough to deprive her lungs of a fair bit of oxygen. 'Another minute or two of that and I'd probably be knocked out or forced to submit again.' The green haired girl thought to herself as she rolled away to get some distance before pushing herself up to her feet.

Looking over at Mary the green haired girl knew that she'd have to target the girl's leg... even if she would feel like a ass hole for it later. "Woo! Definitely a different pace than before huh Mary?" Alizeh said as she paced around the girl, trying to get away from the ropes and towards the middle of the ring, positioning herself for her next move.

Mary wasn't really paying attention to what Alizeh was saying, she was more focused on holding her hurt leg. She has never been the one who got a body part worked over, she was usually the one working over the body part. Her leg felt like it was on fire.

Seeing Alizeh head towards the center, Mary decided to crawl away from the center, hopefully putting the distance between her and Alizeh.

As Alizeh approached Mary the green haired girl noticed the rapid retreat the girl was doing back towards the ropes. 'Not good. But I can't let her fool me like before.' Alizeh thought to herself knowing she couldn't charge in head, or rather feet first like she had before with that missile drop kick. Even down a leg Mary was a dangerous and cunning opponent, someone she couldn't allow any openings to her.

So instead Alizeh would indeed pick up her pace but not to directly attack. Rather she was running forward in to try and cut off Mary! If she managed this then Alizeh would quickly bend down trying to catch Mary by her ankles in an effort to halt Mary's progress! If she managed this than the green haired girl would attempt and drag her opponent away from the ropes and to the middle of the ring!

Mary was making a quick attempt to escape, with how damaged her leg was, she could not let Alizeh catch her and attack her leg more, or else she would most certainly tap and lose. But because of her damaged leg, Mary couldn't move fast enough and Alizeh caught her and dragged her to the center.

Mary knew she was prone to attack, and just prayed that the Submission or whatever Alizeh tried to pull wouldn't hurt that much.
