A Shot in The Dark: Piper vs Ivy II

As Piper dropped low and swung her leg out she smirked softly when she heard the soft grunt of pain from Ivy. That alone was enough to bolster Piper’s confidence by miles as compared to their first match she was giving the middleweight much more of a challenge. But tonight Piper was looking to give the woman more than a challenge. She wanted to win!

Taking advantage of the taller woman’s kneeling position Piper would stand and leap forward, jumping up and throwing a leg over the top of Ivy’s head. If successful Piper would try to extend her other leg to hook her foot around the back of Ivy’s kneeling leg, and then she would atty to lean forward and grab Ivy’s arm. If successful in doing these things than Piper would lean back while bearing her weight down on Ivy in an attempt for a octopus stretch!

[Faeron]

She was being pushed!?

Ivy couldn't believe that Piper, whom she had defeated unceremoniously before, had suddenly brought Ivy to her knees. She would've felt impressed, but indignation was the stronger emotion at the moment and Ivy had a reputation to uphold. Seeing Piper rush at her, Ivy would suddenly spring to life and counter with a pump kick to the face as she looked to shut Piper completely down.

[Bare]

She was doing it! Piper couldn't believe it but she was actually pushing Ivy back! After their first confrontation the painted lady had been the subject of more than one nightmare for the blonde. So to do what she had been doing, it felt equal parts cathartic and invigorating to say the least. Now she just needed to keep up the pressure. To prevent Ivy from getting the wind back in her and ending her mome- BAM

Before Piper's thoughts could continue as she ran she was cut off by a boot to the face. Immediately it was like the world went blank from the suddenness and sheer force of the blow. Immediately Piper was taken off her feet and she landed flat on her back, her legs shooting up in the air before falling back to the mat. Looking up at the lights dazedly Piper was helpless, left wondering just what the hell had hit her.

Ivy massaged the spot in the leg that Piper had worked on previously, nothing too damaging but she knew that not dealing with it now would create problems for later. Ivy could feel a bit of the air leave the crowd as she stopped Piper's momentum entirely, she needed to make sure it stayed that way The Painted Lady moved towards Piper and grabbed a handful of hair to force the blonde up, earning a chastising from the referee. With Piper fully standing, Ivy pulled her arm all the way back before delivering a chop to the throat.

"Augh.. ugh.. buah..." Piper was left gasping from getting dropped by the painted lady, her chest heaving as she tried to reclaim some air into her system. But if anything what had floored her more than the massive strike that dropped her to her back was the huge sudden shift of flow in the match. Just an actual second ago Piper had been laying offense into Ivy and now she was at the woman's mercy!

Speaking of..."Agh!" She yelped out suddenly as her hair was grabbed and the younger wrestler was forced to her feet against her will! "Hey! Let g-GAHHH!!!" Piper's initial snap towards the larger woman was cut off as a fist buried into her throat making her gasp! Immediately Piper fell backwards, legs thrashing about as she rolled over, clutching her throat and coughing violently from the throat punch!

[Faeron]

Ivy didn't relent, grabbing Piper's legs to hook them over her shoulder. Locking her hands over the waist, The Painted Lady showed off her power as she lifted Piper into the air and delivered a sit-out powerbomb, the ring shaking from the immense impact. The referee got to her knees and started counting the pin once she realized that Piper's shoulders were down.

"One...Two..."

Piper had yet to even get her breathing under control following that punch to the throat before Ivy was upon her again already. 'Damn it.. I can't even breath right back off!' The blonde thought to herself as her legs were lifted up and over her opponents shoulders. Feeling a pair of hands lock over her waist Piper would look up with widened eyes.

"W-Wa caugh! W-Wait!" Piper demanded through coughs trying to to do something to save herself before she was lifted up into the air! Eyes widening in shock and terror there was nothing she could do as her stomach suddenly jumped to her throat as she was thrown down slamming back first into the mat!

So great was the thunderous impact created by her back hitting the mat that Piper was unable to even scream in pain, her whole nervous system on lockdown from the sheer impact going through her. "Augh..." Gasping in pain Piper wasn't able to do anything as she was pinned down by Ivy.

Feeling the weight of the woman on her legs and hearing the count from the ref Piper scrunched her face in pain, cognizant enough to realize what position she was in and that she had to act now if she wanted to prove herself. Feeling there not being a lot of pressure on her shoulders Piper quickly acted by raising her hips and twisting her waist. Pulling one arm up in the process Piper aimed to at least get her shoulder and off the mat, knowing she wouldn't be able to generate enough force for a true kick out, but she could at least stop the pinfall count.

[Faeron]

Ivy felt movement underneath, followed by the arm shooting up to break the pin at the count of two. Ivy blinked before grabbing Piper again and forcing her into a seated position. The Painted Lady then gave a single clubbing blow to Piper's head before locking in a headlock to further wear down her opponent, wrenching tightly.

[Bare]

Piper gasped softly as she managed to pull her shoulder up in order to break the pinfall right at the count of two but otherwise was unable to do much else after the save. Ivy meanwhile was raring to put Piper through more punishment. "Ugh!" Crying out in pain as she was grabbed and forced into a seated position there was nothing she could do to stop the blow to the head!

"Guh.. ack!" Gasping as Ivy's arm wrapped around her head the dazed girl groaned and shook her body around trying to loosen the hold. But it was for naught, the grip was too tight and Piper's head was already hurting too intensely from the blow to her skull. However she wasn't out of options, shaking her head as best she could from her position, not to dislodge Ivy's arms but instead to force her blonde locks forward over her face and Ivy's arm. If it worked then Piper would open her mouth before closing her jaws over Ivy's forearm, biting down to try and force Ivy to let go while relying on her hair obstructing the referee's vision to the dirty tactic!

[Faeron]

Ivy wrenched hard as she maintained firm control over her opponent, not looking to let Piper gain anymore offense then she had deserved. That plan fell through when Ivy suddenly felt a sharp pain in her arm as Piper bit against the skin. For the first time, Ivy screamed in pain and pulled away as she checked her forearm to see the tooth marks left behind. When Ivy turned towards the referee to see if she was scolding Piper for the illegal tactic, only to see the ref stare at her with a dumb look on her face.

Oh, that little sneak! Ivy thought as she realized that Piper had hid the bite from the referee.
