Freya is hard at work again in the gym. So far her record is not looking pretty at all with one win to her name. The only difference with that one win was the higher ups threatening to fire her if she didn't win, but by the skin of her teeth she was able to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat with pure power.
Right now her goal is to try and work on speed. Even since her losses to Peggy and Raquel she been working on getting faster in the ring, even to the point of slimming down a bit to hopefully get faster with no success. She is almost close to wits end as she let's out another yell throwing a heavy bag out of the ring with just brute force. "Why am I not winning?. What the hell is wrong with me I can crush almost anybody in the ring and yet I keep fucking losing to smaller people."
Lauren was dressed in a plain black one piece swimsuit with matching kneepads and boots wearing a training wrestling attire set for her day at the gym with Peggy. The two were going to do all mat skills and in-ring type stuff including a little spar between them to help them try to win more consistently, especially Lauren.
Peggy was next to her wearing a matching all black set of attire consisting of a one piece swimsuit, kneepads and boots. "All right lets do it, we are gonna go back to slammin' bitches about n' rocking them with strikes until they are laid flat!" Peggy said as she pat Lauren on the back as the two left the locker room making it out to the gym.
"That is the plan and I know we need to fight harder, smarter and less nasty. We can win with skill and fight clean Pegs, we got it in us!" Lauren said trying to sound upbeat as the curvy, flabby thighed, bouncy backside ladies came out into the gym heading over towards the practice ring together. Neither one of them had noticed Freya just yet but the two were chatting loudly to each other and drawing plenty of attention to themselves in the mostly quiet gym at this early hour.
Another loud thump is heard as it echoes throughout the gym. As Freya was able to throw a fifty pound weight bag out of the ring with a overhead throw making it look easy. Most of the gym goers not wanting to be around the angry woman quickly leave or rush to the lockers due to the woman strength, but more of wanting to get into the ring with her if she wants to spar.
Hearing voices she is able to spot the woman who beat her in the ring. And the woman chubby friend who was at ringside with her, a idea popped into her head knowing what she needs to do. :HEY YOU TWO STOP RIGHT THERE." she yells out as she steps over the ring rope onto the apron. before getting on the ground with her hands on her hips.
Marching over to both women a frown on her face looking like she wants to fight them both. Her fists balled up to as she glares at them both before stopping in front of both of them. Silence as she keeps glaring before bowing her head. "PLEASE TEACH ME ON HOW TO BE A BETTER WRESTLER."
Lauren and Peggy were sure for a second that they are about to get in to a fight. However.... something far more unexpected happened. These two were considered a bit of a laughing stock in LAW although not total jobbers no one ever thought they would be more than a hard fighting, frequently losing undercard staple.
Now a giant woman was asking them to make her a better wrestler? It was Freya whom Peggy managed to defeat by using ring smarts, better mobility and technique. Still the two women looked at each other in shock.
"Well lass.... I mean I guess we can?" Peggy said with a shrug looking over at Lauren who nodded to her. "I beat ya before because you think you can just hulk smash your way to easy wins, that ain't the case around 'ere. Ya need an open mindset, n' you will be doing things you might not like so are you ready?" Peggy asked.
Lauren nodded and looked on. "I watched that match and took it all in. You were in shock that a woman smaller than you can lift you up. I know lightweights that, if given the chance, can lift up women who weight about as much as you and the added surprise of the slam adds to the pain you feel. You also need to realize good footwork, grappling and technique can help you become a far more well balanced wrestler."
Freya frowns at the mention of her defeat from Peggy. But even she knows that she is right since her trying to just toss people around and slam them doesn't win matches. As much as she hates to admit it the red hair woman is right, but still the sting of losing still hurts and has chipped away at her pride.
Turning to listen to the advice Lauren is telling her as well. Not wanting to admit it that she was stunned that she been lifted up with ease by the woman facing her. But her competitive nature would not allow her stay idle, if she needs to seek help to get better then she would do so in a heartbeat as long as she wins.
"Then teach me... Show me how to be a better wrestler" she says grabbing both ladies in front of her with her hands. Desperation on her face while she holding them both. "I barely won my lost match and got a text that said I would be let go if I lost again...
Lauren nodded and stood with her hands on her hips. "Oh I have been there Freya it is scary. I was almost released and I was in a match for the Losers Championship so I know how low you feel. We will get you back to winning, if we could do it you can too!" Lauren said with a grin.
Peggy nodded along and looked over at the ring. "We were gonna spar but I think we can get ya doing some technical stuff so you aren't just a big hulk of a woman between the ropes." Peggy said as she walked over towards the ring. "We'll kick things off with a nice and easy exercise. You n' Lauren are closer in size so you will both grapple and shift from hold to hold, no strikes, no slams this is holds only n' if ya get stuck I will help tell you what you could do." Peggy said as she stood on the apron in the corner while Lauren climbed into the ring standing in the center.
Freya nods her eager to learn from these two. Even thought her sister is more of a match for her, she doesn't want to do it due to her pride at letting Elm down. But training with Lauren and Peggy might be able to help her become a monster wrestler.
She slides into the ring doing a few more stretches before a big grin appears on her face. "Alright It easy to do all I have do is just grab you and just grapple you to the ground?. As she raises her hands out ready to try and out wrestle Lauren. Lunging forward and tries to get a headlock on her.
Lauren grapples with Freya and is overpowered, stuck in the side headlock. "We go until we decide to stop, keep transitioning. This is about technique and locking in a secure hold." Lauren said, choking a bit as Freya's raw power made for a crushing headlock. However Lauren reached her hands at Freyas fingers. Freya was bigger and stronger, but prying a hold at the fingers was far easier and something power wrestlers couldn't do as much against.
Lauren was going to pry herself free and keep both hands on one wrist, spinning and twisting to transition into a hammerlock, holding Freya's arm behind her back at an angle so she couldn't easily twist around or face Lauren herself!
Freya had the headlock locked in tight, squeezing tightly on the woman head deciding to just go all out with this one. Finally someone that can bang with her and go toe for toe with her, eager to show off what she knows even if it is limited compared to others. Which is starting to show since her opponent is making a move for her fingers, prying them apart using more skill then power.
"Hey what are you..." Freya calls out. Before feeling her grip be broken and the next thing she knows is her arm behind her back stuck in a hammerlock position. "How...
Lauren kept the hammerlock in on Freya and held her in place. "Your fingers weren't locked together well, and anyone can work on that grip to pry themselves free without having to overpower you. Now... how do you plan to get out of this?" Lauren said keeping the hold secure but not really wrenching down. She didn't want Freya in pain she wanted her to be able to think about what she could do next. "I know what I would do so if you can't think of anything I am more than happy to tell you what I would do." Lauren added, wondering if she would need to give Freya a hint or if Freya could come up with something on her own.
