Erin Quinn vs Yamato Nadeshiko

Erin would have been happy hugging and squeezing her opponent all day if she had to. Unfortunately Yamato had other plans and seemed not to enjoy the move nearly as much as the redhead did. Suddenly Erin would feel a knee painfully driven into her gut. "Guuugh!" She groaned out, her grip loosening on her foe before she squeezed hard again. It wasn't until the third strike that Erin was finally forced to completely let go before stumbling back a step. She had perhaps held on to her opponent a bit longer than she should have, but stubborn might as well have been Erin's middle name.

The next thing Erin knew her head was being slammed down to the mat, soon hitting hard. "Gaaaaah!" She cried out, bouncing up an inch before rolling to her side and clutching her head with both hands. "Sh...shit!" The brawler groaned, taking a hard hit to the head. For the moment the redhead wouldn't be able to do much as she was left dazed and in pain on the mat. As much as she wanted to Erin could focus on little else besides the throbbing headache she was feeling. After a few moments though the pain would start to subside and Erin would take one hand off of her head to try and roll herself back onto her stomach and push up onto her hand and knees.

It took considerable effort on Yamato's part to try and create an opportunity to escape. A few hard strikes to her foe's midsection made Erin finally let up for long enough for the black haired woman pry herself free from the Bearhug and land with both feet on the canvas. She was able to follow up immediately by getting a firm grip on her Irish opponent's head and planting into the canvas with a Facebuster! The sudden shift in momentum would earn a crowd reaction.

Yamato would remain there seated for a moment after hitting the move. She wrapped both arms around her sides and breathed heavily whilst wincing. The hug certainly did its damage. And if she wanted to remain a thread, Nadeshiko would need to find a way to keep this up. Yamato would begin crawling towards the closest corner of the ring. She'd nod and will herself to overcome her fatigue and aches from all striking and pain that Erin inflicted upon her thus far. As Erin began to find her way to her hands and knees, Yamato would slowly scale the turnbuckle and try to find her way to the top ropes. If she made it there quickly enough, the Perfect Woman would position herself such that she was perched on the top turnbuckle! She'd live up to her moniker and begin to take careful watch of Erin, waiting for the red headed lass to rise to her feet before the Japanese wrestler could take to the air and attempt to nail her with a perfectly executed Missile Dropkick!

"OSU!" Yamato would cry as she leaped into action.

Still feeling a bit dazed, Erin would make her way to her feet. She had already given Yamato plenty of time and although she was thankful, she was still wondering why she hadn't been hit again yet. When she finally regained her bearings though she saw it, her opponent positioning herself on the ropes and getting ready for something big. "No...you...fucking...don't." Erin said, more to herself than Yamato. The redhead was in awe for a moment. She herself had always dreamed of trying a flashy move off the ropes but never found a time she thought was appropriate. Now that she was staring a move like that in the face, she quickly understood why she found it less than ideal. If not performed perfectly they could end in disaster, a result that Erin was now hoping for.

As she saw her opponent jump off the ropes Erin knew she had to act fast. The brawler had seconds to dive out of the way so dive she did, practically face planting onto the canvas as she attempted to dodge. Erin wasn't the most dexterous wrestler around but was hoping her maneuver would keep her out of harms way. If all went well her opponent would be crashing down onto the ground which Erin couldn't imagine was a good time for Yamato.

Yamato knew that she'd have to start getting in some of her signature aerial offense if she wanted any chance at beating a durable brawler like Erin. The toned middleweight took the opportunity to scale the turnbuckle while her opponent was down. The crowd began to audibly clamor in anticipation of their hometown hero taking flight. And sure enough, as soon as Erin found her way to her feet, Yamato leapt into action. She committed to the move and cleared a sizable distance before finally thrusting forward with her powerful, muscular legs and attempting to drive them into Erin's chest!

As the crowd cheered her attempt, Yamato continued to soar. Her dropkick would almost connect, but at the last moment, Erin threw herself forward and dived haphazardly, doing whatever she could to dodge the aerialist's assault. Yamato would curse under her breath as she landed back first on the canvas! The leotard clad wrestler would use the momentum from the fall to roll towards the ropes and kick the mat in the pain. Yamato knew that this was bad. Erin showed off a little more agility and desperation than she thought the read head was capable of. Yamato could only lie there and hope that this mistake wouldn't prove to be as costly as it was looking. She already had to concern herself with the immense pain and damage that her foe was capable of dishing out. The last thing Nadeshiko needed was to get caught while hurting herself with a high risk move!

Erin groaned as she practically hit her head against the mat when she dived. It was far from elegant but it saved her from taking a big hit from Yamato. That would have certainly spelled trouble for the redhead. Erin couldn't hide a grin as her opponent crashed to the floor beside her. She figured it served the woman right for trying such a flashy move. IT was one of the few reasons Erin didn't perform too many high flying maneuvers herself.

With Yamato on the floor, Erin would try to capitalize on the opportunity presented to her. While she most likely should have gone for a high impact move of her own, Erin was still a bit ticked off that her opponent had tried to put her away so early. The solution to that would obviously be to do the same to Yamato and see how the 'perfect woman' liked it. Erin scrambled over to her opponent before laying across her, trying to keep her shoulders down. "Count it ref!" The brawler shouted, hoping she could get a quick pin and end the match. She expected Yamato was tougher than that but it Erin was always hopeful.

Despite the flawed execution of the dropkick and failing to hit her target, Yamato was still resolute in her desire to do whatever it took to win the match. After taking a harsh landing and trying to roll to ropes, she soon found that Erin was intent on pressing her advantage. Fortunately for the Japanese wrestler, the red head only sought to cover her, for now. Quinn quickly crawled over to her and threw herself onto Nadeshiko to begin a cover. Yamato would hear Erin demand the ref to begin counting and begin to tense.

"ONE!"

Just after the one count, the Perfect Woman would kick out. She wasn't in any shape to immediately begin fighting back, but she was certainly of the mindset that she wouldn't be defeated here and now. Yamato would comment as she slowly began to attempt to rise up her feet and resume the fight, all while still vulnerable and susceptible from having crashed and burned recently.

Erin chuckled as her opponent kicked out of the pin. It was expected but she couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed. "I guess you're not so easy to put away either." She commented while rolling off of Yamato. Despite her growing respect for Yamato's ability, Erin wouldn't let her opponent off the hook that easily. Seeing that the other wrestler was slow to get up Erin would try to capitalize yet again since her first attempt hadn't ended well. This time she'd make sure to do some damage to Yamato.

Making her way behind the other wrestler, Erin would attempt to wrap her arms around Yamato's waist. In one swift motion the Irish brawler would attempt to lift her opponent into the air. It wasn't an easy task but it was one the redhead was always prepared for. If she got Yamato into the air she would then quickly drop to one knee, looking to slam her opponent down on her other knee and nail her with an atomic drop. She was sure that Yamato would be feeling that and that she would get a nice reaction from the crowd.

Yamato showed resolve in her ability to kick out quickly. And in doing so, she got across to Erin that she was every bit as willing as Erin was to stay in this match and give it everything she had. The crowd began to cheer as Yamato began to work her way up. But Erin wasn't about to stand by and watch her try and will her way back into the match. The red head wrapped her arms around Yamato's waist and lift her. As usual, Erin showed off impressive strength, earning cheers of her own as she began to lift her fellow middleweight with seemingly relative ease. Yamato hadn't known what Erin was going for. She placed her arm behind her foe's head as she was being set up for the Atomic Drop. As soon as she was raised into the air, she reacted instinctively by trying to set up for a move of her own.

After being lifted, Yamato would swing her other arm around and attempt to punch Erin square in the nose, in an effort to force the Irish lass to drop her. Should she have been successful in preventing the Atomic Drop from happening, Nadeshiko would land on her feet and wrap her arms around Erin's head. She attempted to salvage the situation by running towards the ropes with Erin in tow, and jump up to place her feet on the top rope to literally run along them a short distance before trying to reverse the momentum and turn the tide by coming down on her butt and planting Quinn's face into the canvas with a Springboard Bulldog!

"OOORRRAAAA!" Yamato would cry if she were able to land the move.

Erin thought she could just manhandle Yamato but it seemed the woman still had plenty of fight left in her. Before she could drop her opponent the redhead was hit square in the face, causing her to yelp and take a quick step back. "Gaaaah shit!" She yelled as she brought her hands up to her nose. She would tear up slightly before trying to refocus herself. What she refocused on though was Yamato coming right towards her in an impressive feat of acrobatics. Erin was prepared to deal with strikes, squeezes, and throws but she was not expecting a high flying opponent.

The redhead, unable to react in time, was slammed down face first onto the mat. "Aaaaghh...DAMN it!" Erin cried out as she immediately slammed her fist down on the mat in frustration. The woman would have been rather impressed with Yamato's move had it not been for the throbbing headache she was currently experiencing. Had Erin been able to think clearly right now she would have tried to remember that move for another time After a moment of just laying there in pain Erin would roll onto her back, breathing heavily as she looked up at the ceiling. . "I'll show you an ora..." The brawler grumbled before bringing her hands to her head.

Through a combination of drive and desperation, Yamato saw to it that she was able to prevent the Atomic Drop and completely turn the tables on Erin by falling back on her true specialty and identity in the squared circle. Yamato was always a high flyer, and right now, she was making sure that Erin and everyone watching this tournament knew that. After successfully vaulting off the ropes while keeping Erin's head in place, Nadeshiko was able to spike the red head into the canvas with a battle cry. The crowd cheered upon seeing Yamato's trademark offense and roared along with her when she popped up after hitting the move.

With adrenaline and hype fueling her, The "Perfect" Woman would attempt to live up to her moniker by reaching down for Erin's arms and dragging the Irishwoman towards the corner. If successful in repositioning her foe, she face the corner and grip the ropes to set up for another high flying move. Yamato would turn back once and roar before pulling on the ropes and launching herself upwards. The black haired wrestler would commit to the move by parting and extending her legs, bouncing them off the top ropes and spinning. She'd execute the move perfectly and fall back in style, looking to finish Erin with a Split Leg Corkscrew Moonsault!

"IKUZOOO!"

If Yamato was indeed able to perfectly execute the move, she'd land forcefully on top of Erin and reach for her foe's leg to hook it to secure a pin!
