Always blending into the background, never noticed, Dana has never been the center of attention. She liked it this way. She didn't bother anyone, so no one bothered her. It might have been lonely sometimes, but it was better than getting hurt. Besides, she preferred to focus on her studies. Dana always picked up information quickly, and being alone often made it easier to study a lot.
The problem with going unnoticed though is that it becomes all that much easier to become a target. While studying abroad in Europe, she got lost easily trying to learn the streets, the ins and outs. One wrong turn, and she ended up in a dead end. But she wasn't alone. A small gang had gathered and cornered her. How she wished she could just disappear, but no, she was completely trapped. Who knows what would have happened if she wasn't saved? A tall woman with red hair and a cold, piercing glare whipped herself into action, making quick work of the gang. Her fighting style was strong and seductive. Her moves simply made her look all that much more gorgeous, while also putting these delinquents through a world of pain.
When she was done with them, she asked Dana if she was alright. Dana could only nod. That's when she said something to Dana that changed her forever. "Don't let yourself be a victim. Give the world as much Hell as it'd give you." And then the woman left. Dana forgot to even ask her for her name. It didn't matter either way though. The woman had sparked something in Dana.
Dana dove into studying technical fighting styles. She needed to know how to fight, and how to end a fight. Never would Dana have thought that she would end up in the world of wrestling, but that's exactly where her studies lead her. There was some serious stage fright she had to get over at first. Now she only gets mild stage fright. One way she tried fighting this was by getting herself a hot wrestling outfit, thinking that if she wore something attractive like how that mysterious woman dressed, then it'd give her confidence.
Her studies on submissions moves led to her rising up in the ranks somewhat quickly. The amount of attention she was getting was somewhat overwhelming, but she couldn't turn back now. She had to prove to the world, and to herself, that she is no victim. And maybe, just maybe, Dana thought, if she kept getting better at fighting then someday she can help someone just as much as that woman helped her.
