It was a somewhat rare spectacle for Skylar Jones to lose her temper, however when she did, it was terrifying. She'd come to LAW HQ that day hoping to sign up for the Fight The LAW beach event that was going on this month, only to find out the management had booked her for something else. When she heard what she'd be doing instead, her stomach churned. She'd been forcibly signed up for a tag-team event... With Kirie Tsukada. "Well fucking cancel it! I wanna go to that beach thing!" "I-I'm sorry Ma'am, but the fight is already booked! There's nothing I can do about it!" The man working the front desk stammered. Skylar fucking hated that girl. She was used to dealing with jealous girlfriends coming after her for making moves on their boyfriends, but Kirie was something else entirely. The bitch was crazy, and Skylar was still bitter about how their match had ended. The brunette grabs the man by his collar, almost pulling him over the desk. "You fucking tell your boss I ain't interested, or I'm gonna shove that little telephone up your ass!" "Gulp!" However, Skylar was allowed to do no such thing, as she was soon thrown out of the building by security.
DAY OF THE MATCH
Skylar huffs, tying her shoes in the locker room across the locker room from Kirie. She shoots her team mate a glare now and again. "Bitch..." She mutters. This whole event was a dick move on the management's part, and Skylar was pissed. Of course, if she herself hadn't been roped into this, she would've found it hilarious. Why couldn't it have been Kyoko Akan and Da Xia, or Kat Heart and Karen Starring!? As Skylar hears herself and Kirie introduced, she gives a heavy sigh, and heads out the gorilla position.
As Skylar heads down the ring with Kirie by her side, she suddenly moves her foot in front of the pinkette's, hoping to trip her. If Kirie falls on her face, the brunette snickers, and climbs through the ropes. "Let's get this over with..."
To say that Kirie was surprised to hear that she had been booked as half of a tag team with Skylar Jones would be an understatement. When she'd heard the announcement, she'd assumed it was a mistake. There was no way she was going to be in the same room as the conniving, two-timing slut who was so jealous of the beautiful romance she had with Hiro Yamashida that she would stoop to trying to steal her boyfriend away from her, let alone try to team with her! Just the thought of it made her brows narrow with anger, as her body shook, just waiting to lash out and strike at something. Kirie knew that part of the appeal of such an event was in putting together teams of people who didn't get along and seeing how they would respond - but surely the promoters could at least see that they were obviously incompatible, even for something like this!
Nevertheless, here she was, in the locker room before the match began. She knew Skylar was behind her, but she had refused to make eye contact the whole while, crossing her arms and turning her back to her with a huff. She wasn't about to tolerate Sky any more than she had to, and she was making that clear from the beginning. "Just so you know," Kirie said, "if you get ganged up on, don't come crying to me!
Soon, the two of them were called to the ramp to enter the ring. Kirie showed none of her typical cheerful excitement going into this match - she stormed down at Skylar's side, glaring daggers at her out of the corner of her eye the whole while, as she crossed her arms over her chest. Furthermore, she didn't have Hiro with her, as she usually would for her matches - perhaps, given the shenanigans that had happened between the three of them, that was for the best in a match like this.
The second Kirie took her eyes off of Skylar, the brunette struck with her first trick of the match - she stuck her leg out in front of Kirie just as she was making her way down the ramp. Sure enough, she didn't see it coming - she tripped over Sky's leg, causing her to fall forward and land on her face with a girlish yelp of surprise! The crowd laughed at her misfortune, something that caused Kirie to glare back at them as she pushed herself off the ground. "That's not funny!! Shut up!" she snapped. Nevertheless, she soon got up and dusted herself off, following Sky to meet her in the corner. Already, things were tense between these two - and the match hadn't even begun!
Amy wantd to fight everyone right now, hell she'd rather punch herself in the face then go through this. She had been in many strong bedfellows situations it came with the territory of wrestling but the women who pissed her off so much that Amy willingly took a DQ loss just to kick her ass more was not someone she was willing to work with. Her history with her former rival Kyoko clearly set someone off and thinking this was a funny joke but a Pride Queen Korra was not and Amy was going to hate every second of this match up looking at her 'partner' for the day she gave her a nast glare.
"I swear to all that is holy if I find out you set this up." She muttered but went back to focusing on there time to enter, Amy moved out a head not doing her usual roar cry or crawling like a lion as she marched down to the ring paying Korra no mind. Her opponents didnt look to intimidating but honestly they werent the ones her eyes would be on, she still had to make sure Korra wouldnt just accept the fine and kick her across the back of the head for laughs. "Look no offense but I don't want to be here so can one of you just beat the other up so I can kick my partners ass and then pin you?" She said bluntly to Skyler and Kirie, vaguely seeing both of them in action at some point but she couldnt remember who won.
“Ask yourself if I in the miniscule time I’ve been here had the ability to book a match for myself do you really think I would make it so I was teaming with you here? When I could book myself to get a free trip to America to kick your ass for a bigger payday? Don’t be silly.” Korra was as blunt as ever talking down to her partner before the match even got started. No doubt what LAW wanted setting up this kind of event. It was an impossibility for tensions not to bleed over no matter what punishment they hung over there heads for disobedience. But Korra wasn’t about to be handed a loss if she could avoid it and if Amy opted to be half as ruthless as she could maybe this would turn out well. Like Amy Korra came out and paid most of the fans no mind, unlike Amy this was the norm for her. Across from them was smaller prey which lead her to believe this was supposed to be a mismatch or they were hoping for Korra and Amy to mess up. But on looks alone they had an advantage. “Do try and not let them pin you before I’ve had my fun. We both know you and victory don’t mix like they used to.”
Skylar sighs as her opponents enter the stadium. The two were noticeably bigger than Sky and Kirie (Especially Kirie), but nothing the brunette couldn't handle. If Skylar can pull off a win with that stupid bitch dragging her down, it'd be fucking bad ass! The brunette smirks at the thought of it as Amy enters the ring. "Sorry, that ain't happening." She says. "See, as much as I hate the two faced bitch in my corner, I'm winning this match." Suddenly, Skylar comes to a realization, and her lips curve into a venomous grin. "Say.... Is it true that back in the day, you used to drag your opponents backstage and beat the hell outta them~?" Her voice sent a cold chill down the referee's spine. "Dick move if I say so, pal. Someone oughta teach you a lesson~." Skylar grins, cracking her knuckles.
A sinister grin was plastered across the brunette face as she remembers things her bastard opponent had done in the past. She'd be damned to get her hands on Amy Evans and let her go without putting her through hell.
DING DING DING!!!
Skylar rushes towards Amy, hoping to start the match off strong with a hard punch to the stomach! If this causes the blonde to double over, Skylar tries to get her in a headlock for a DDT!

As her opponents entered the ring, Kirie took a pause, her gaze wandering up to take in their looming forms. When it came to Skylar, things ran personal, and she had no connection with either of the two heavyweights - but their appearance was still enough for her to momentarily forget about having to team with her hated rival. Much as she hated to admit it, perhaps having Sky on her side was what Kirie needed to stand a chance - not only was she a lightweight, she was small even by their standards. Just one of her opponents could throw her around with ease; two of them were asking for trouble. Of course, the fact that Amy and Korra were at each others' throats just as much as Kirie was at Sky's helped even the odds.
And, on that note, it was Amy's offer that brought Kirie back down to reality. She looked back at Skylar with a glare at the prospect of beating her up, which honestly, she was keen to do any day. But she wasn't too excited about the pinning part. Taking a step forward, Kirie kept her arms crossed as she shouted back her response. "I can do you one better, you can beat her up all you want and see if I care! I-"
Before Kirie could get any further, though, Skylar cut her off, and she groaned, rolling her eyes. Of course; it was typical of Sky to interfere with her plans. With a grumble, Kirie stepped back into the corner, letting the brunette have her moment.
But it was in the middle of her speech that Kirie realized something. If Skylar was that determined to get into the ring, that meant she was the one who had to face their opponents first. If Sky insisted on doing all the work, Kirie wouldn't have to lift a finger - and Skylar would be taking the brunt of the punishment for her. It was a win-win! She fell silent, deciding to let what happened happened. A grin spread over her face as she took a step back behind the ropes. If her team won, they won; if they didn't, Skylar got to get torn apart by their opponents, and hopefully she wouldn't have to. It seemed like the perfect plan.
It was only when she got in the ring did she see just how small one of them was, even by the standards of lightweights. If Chelsea was here she probably had about a foot on her still maybe 2. What did she do to piss off the other chick went through Amy's head until she rembered who she was. Skyler Jones the girl taking point in the match had been on LAW for a few months and yet Amy was already turned off from LAW Twitter by her very presence, the constant bragging about sex was annoying enough her holier then thou attitude was even worse. Amy's first guess to her behavior was that the little pink haired piece of bubble gum didn't play as nice as a lightweight should and that angered the crazy bitch, which meant it was unlikely they had much of the same hostility that her and Korra did. Just great, she didnt want to lose any advantages but if they could cooperate better then Amy and Korra were already in trouble, size difference or no. When both rejected her offer Amy was ready to shrug it off until Skyler opened her mouth bringing up her past again, she felt an ear twitch and she didnt dare turn to look at Korra's face as she glared at Skyler.
"No you have me mistaken with some other Lion themed wrestler who just also happens to be named Amy Evans. Everyone knows what I did why you asking like its a secret to you? You slow or something? Keep up I got over that phase of my life years ago bringing up the past ain't going to tell you what happens in the present.." Amy said bluntly reminding herself not to turn around and see Korra's face which had to be poitively beaming from Skylars comment. Skylar charged at her the second the bell rang and Amy's guard came up the punch hit her arm and Amy took a step back as the punch stung but the worst was avoided. "Right out the gate this bitch is crazy, shit that hurt. If I'd known she was going to do that I'dd have armdragged her into the corner where we can...wait fuck that there is no we. Its just me vs 3 opponents. Damn it this is hard to plan around." Amy's head was all over the place trying to come up with a plan in a rather poor situation.
Korra was as ready for the fight as she could be so of course Amy took the top spot denying her any chance to start things off. Korra glared at her and then at her opponents. There was no way Amy was going to tag her in if she could help it she’d try to fight both of them and deny her any glory or fun. Korra wasn’t going to allow that so already she was plotting on ways to get Amy close enough to the corner where she could force a tag. Then one of her opponents delivered needling Amy about her past at random the opening was too good to pass on. “Oh she’s guilty of far worse then that. And as you can tell she’s not the slightest bit sorry about it. No matter how much she tries to pretend otherwise she remains a creature trying to play at being a hero. Pathetic.”
"Eh-" A look of shame and embarrassment covered Skylar's face as Amy claims she'd changed. She felt bad for confronting her about her past. "Oh, sorry about that... I... jump to conclusions sometimes..." She sighs. She admired people who changed their behavior to be better people. God, she felt dumb.
However, when Amy's partner opens her mouth, Skylar's ashamed apology is replaced by a growl. If Korra was to be believed, and Sky had no reason to believe she wasn't, Amy had not a shred of guilt for the awful things she'd done.
When the bell rings, Skylar rushes towards the blonde with a hard punch, which Amy manages to block. Though her strike wasn't completely successful, it still brought a smug grin to the brunette's face as her opponent stepped back from her punch.
