Conquering a Storm (Aqua/Savior)

If this wasn't a different spar then Hinoka would have proceeded with a faster approach, involving kicks or a clinch. Even with the slight change of mode, she still insisted to be an agile fighter, already proving to be far mobile than she was in that last embarrassing match.

A punch would be thrown and left uninterrupted, but Tifa was able to block the strike rather effortlessly. She felt a bit more strain on her arm trying to stagger this living target compared to the sandbag. "Huh? AUGHHH!" In the blink of an eye, her nose was battered by two swift strikes like they were fired cannonballs. Hinoka's nose felt a temporary burn while Tifa's retaliation was enough to throw the redhead back. "Urgh...is that it?" Tending to her face with those gloves, she was left open for a followup.

Tifa was making sure to hold herself back in the spar, but that doesn't mean she'll make it easy for Hinoka. The quick jabs to her face were just a taste at Tifa's repertoire, sure they had met in the wrestling ring but Tifa was in her environment. Keeping in mind that those jabs had Hinoka on high alert, Tifa's next move needed to use that against her.

Careful not to talk to much here Tifa warned as she prepped her next attack. Aiming to throw quick right jab at Hinoka's face. Not intending to land the move, so just before it would make contact Tifa again reeled her fist back. Only for her true intentions to be shown, copying Hinoka's strike from before Tifa would try to throw a left hook aimed at Hinoka's liver.

On the first instance of movement from the more experienced brawler, Hinoka had to jet away and retaliate with her own counter-attack if possible in time. She somehow had to outwit a fighter who is specialised in a field where they might have seen enough of these related tricks. Up until Tifa made her next move, this student would sway around until the ideal movement.

A quick jab was coming in her way seemingly, this set Hinoka's heart into overdrive so she made the decision to shift her body east. However the redhead could have sworn, she saw her opponent stop the punch before the dodge was in motion. This confused HInoka enough to be left unprepared for the most excruciating move so far. "AUGHHHHHHHHHH!" Blood circulation halted resulted in Hinoka losing focus and drive, as if the shock wasn't bad enough. Her body became immobile minus a few twitching and mouth movement. "What...what..." Voice suddenly become croakier somehow.

The left hook to Hinoka's liver had landed and its effects were apparent. With Hinoka's body locking in place and twitching not allowing her to move as well. Taking it up a few gears Tifa pulled her fist back. Now aiming to land a right straight on Hinoka's face, a move like this being possible if her guard was weakened. Had the straight landed Tifa already had a wider than usual left hook primed for Hinoka's face. If that wasn't enough, with the motion of the hook, Tifa used the momentum to carry a powerful right hook. Aimed at the same place she had been targeting.

Hinoka could barely feel her legs after that precision shot Tifa gave her earlier. Currently breathless thanks to the shock, she couldn't even gain the bearings to lightly press her hand against the struck area, it almost felt like a cheat. With her guard mostly weakened, Hinoka couldn't muster the strength to block or avoid the straight punch. "AHHHHHHHHH!" Her head forcibly tilted and neck stretched thanks to a single crushing blow. The delay in feeling made it somehow more tolerable than the liver punch, but it still hurt like hell.

Her body still meld to the mat, she couldn't collect her bearings in time to dodge the hook either. "AUGHHHHHHHH!" Her jaw and nose took the brunt of it, almost causing something to fall out. The final punch was enough to break the entire foundation and make Hinoka scream the loudest. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The redhead was thrown back by Tifa's sheer power. This resulted in the tomboy dropping to a knee, somehow there wasn't an early countdown. How did her opponent make this look easy? Now Hinoka's face was decorated with multiple bruises in just the first round no less. She could only glare up at the brawler, desperately trying to regain the energy to raise her arms.

Tifa could feel her glove sink into Hinoka's face on the right straight. Jerking her head back on the impact, and if Hinoka was looking for a high intensity spar, she was definitely getting one. Tifa's next two hits would ring true, the last one was the one to bring her down. Tifa still with her gloves raised would look at Hinoka, already having bruises on her despite them just starting. Taking a moment to herself, Tifa told herself if Hinoka were to get back up that she would take it down many notches.

1....2....3...Hey we don't have to keep doing this.4... Tifa told Hinoka as she began to count the redheaded tomboy out. It was clear that this match would be going one way. So it was up to Hinoka what would happen next.

Who knows when Hinoka will simply wise up and ask Tifa to provide room to breath or tone things down for safety purposes. She still felt her head ringing despite no longer being targeted by those gauntlets. However Hinoka was more concerned about a countdown already in motion for just kneeling. "Wait that... doesn't count! I just slipped!" Even if she had to hesitate, her voice was anything but quiet.

She prodded the mat with her lower heel, trying to revert to a stand before the count could pile up. Tifa could easily notice her opponent looking rather dizzy by the constant head swaying and pupils spread apart. The spar would continue, but there might be another stop soon.

Tifa grimaced a small amount from Hinoka's beating. It wasn't like Tifa was looking to hurt Hinoka, but with how the spar was going Hinoka could barely keep up. Still counting out Hinoka who was on her knee. She would let out that it was a slip. So that was a slip huh? Tifa said with a hint of sarcasm. But with how Hinoka responded to the count, it was evident she still had plenty of energy.

The count stopping at six, Hinoka would get herself up shakily. Tifa noticed this easily, with her head swaying side to side and her pupils showing little life. Sighing as she got up Tifa would continue the match from here. Not wanting to make the situation worse for Hinoka, Tifa would make things easy and fire off a bullet of a one two jab to Hinoka's face.

If there were a third-party to count instead, Hinoka would have demanded Tifa to zip it even if it were rather impudent, all because of some minor sarcastic quips. By getting up just past the half way mark, Hinoka proved that there was still had a large pool of stamina to work with, even if she wasn't looking at her opponent straight in the eye.

Her opponent didn't play the waiting game and came at her with two punches ready. If she didn't act fast it would be a repeat of the previous barrage. Apparently thrill took the wheel as Hinoka shown enough aware to hop backwards out of harm's way. This action was followed by the rookie throwing a simple crosspunch towards Tifa's chest.

Tifa was more than okay with holding herself back in the spar. If only to whittle down Hinoka to a point where she could realize it was over. So instead of applying immense pressure with a suffocating offense. Tifa opted to go for a simple bullet one two jab. But while Tifa was putting limiters on herself Hinoka was trying to do the opposite.

Hinoka evaded Tifa's attack rather well, showing movements she hasn't shown before. Hinoka quickly used this chance to land a crosspunch towards Tifa's chest. Eyes widening Gah! Tifa exclaimed taking a few steps back and holding her chest. Not expecting that Hinoka would target Tifa's chest.
