Wearing nothing but an unbuttoned waist-length peacoat over her wrestling attire of a simple green bikini, Emaline strutted over and took her seat. Her two friends followed suit. However, neither took their seat and simply stood behind Emaline like bodyguards of some sort.
"My friends and I express our gratitude for your show of hospitality." Emaline replied in a such an overtly polite manner that it came off as patronising.
"Needless to say, I require no introduction but my friends here unfortunately do not process the same reputation as I do." She made an off-hand gestures at both other girls.
"Ladies, introduce yourself."
"Ellow world!" The black haired girl chirped eagerly.
"Yoro 'Yoyo' Yobi here!"
"H-Hey." The red haired girl followed up timidly.
"S-shira here..."
"I hope you don't mind me using this interview as an opportunity to properly and officially introduce my faction."
"Well-."
"Of course, you don't." Emaline interrupted Lexy with a sarcastic chuckle.
"We are Emaline's Emerald Enclave, though the less linguistically gifted may refer to us as simply the Enclave."
"Yeah!" Yoro pumped her fist in air.
"Watch out LAW because we're heaving a heavy package!"
Emaline rolled her eyes at Yoro's words while Shira coughed awkwardly into a fist.
"That said, it's about time we move on to the true purpose of this interview." The Viper ignored Yoro and instead carried on.
"And we do apologise for causing this diversion."
"There's n-."
"You see Lexy, not only do I highly anticipate this match, but I find it quite interesting indeed." Emaline drawled her words as she made her announcement.
"Because my opponent is none other than Katherine Hart herself."
A ripple of murmurs echoed from the audience and it took Lexy a short moment to muster her voice due to the surprise.
"That is-.
"I must admit that the booking initially left me in a state of perturbation." Only to be interrupted by Emaline anyway.
"I know I didn't request it, and since Katherine Hart is one of, if not the biggest star on LAW's roster, I find it highly unlikely that she did too. Invariably, it only took a short moment of reflection for me realise what happened. Management did it."
"Wait, I don't think-"
"Excuse me, Lexy." Emaline once again cut in, this time with a tinge of venom underlying her voice.
"But I don't believe that 'thinking' falls within the purview of your purpose. Any more thinking out of you and Yoro will send a body splash your way."
"You got it Ema!" Yoro nodded with a friendly smile before addressing Lexy.
"No hard, feelings right?"
"None at all..." Lexy acquiesced.
As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted, it would seem like LAW's management have finally taken note of my inherent prospective potential." Emaline condescendingly elucidated.
"Like I said, Kathy is LAW's biggest star. And that makes her an excellent propellant for my ascent to greatness. And management knows this. To explain for the less intellectually inclined viewers at home as well as more than a few of LAW's other wrestlers no doubt, management set Kathy up to lose to me in order to prop up my career." She turned and shot a smug smirk at the camera.
"Now Kathy, I know that you're watching this more likely than not and I suspect that you may be bemused or even a bit irritated at this turn of events. Worry not. You have my assurance that you will indeed serve as a very useful stepping stone."
