Sophie Russel vs. Seras Quinoa - Breakthrough Breakdown

This was the moment Sophie had been waiting for. She had signed the contract for a few months now, and this would be her first televised appearance in LAW. Before, she spent most her time at the performance center, getting used to the environment here. And tonight, she would show it to the world that she was here to make a name for herself. She already had a background in amateur wrestling, and she had even wrestled in indie venues for quite a while before joining LAW.

For her first match, she would be facing someone named Seras Quinoa. From what she had heard, the two of them were around the same age, which might be a good opportunity for Sophie to measure her own strength. Still, from the sound of it, her opponent was a middleweight, a weight class lower than her, though that didn't mean she could underestimate her opponent just because she was lighter than her. She still needed to be careful while facing her in the ring.

Wearing her violet-colored leotard singlet, Sophie made her way down the ramp, heading over to the ring as her music was played. The Japanese audience seemed to be curious about her, and they were always pleased to see a new face like her, especially someone with quite a figure like her. Sophie smiled as she waved her hands while showing off her body. She would then reach the ring before she climbed up the apron and then slipped through the ropes.

Now in the ring, Sophie would do some light stretches and warm up, waiting for her opponent to make her appearance. She took this opportunity to calm herself down, knowing that being nervous wouldn't help her case here. As she prepared herself for this upcoming match, she would look at the entrance so that she could see her opponent making her appearance. She was looking forward to see what her opponent was made so that she could test her skill on her.

Seras had been messaged by her manager, saying she had been booked for ANOTHER fight. What was this, her third in a row?.. was she that popular?

At least this wasn’t a hardcore match, she supposed. Not that she particularly minded them, but it sometimes got a bit too much. For now, it was a newbie called.. Sophie Russel.. a heavyweight.. and rather heavyset herself. Looking at the photo, she whistled, staring at her enviously.
“Damn.. she’s pretty buff.”

And she was supposed to fight her? Well, if she did win, she’d have some publicity.. it sounded good!! A slight smile formed on her face, as she’d prepare herself. Her theme blared from the speakers as Seras raced forwards, bursting through the ramp and breaking into a run! She’d cartwheel and flip into the ring, grasping the ropes. Lifting one up, she’d slide inside and then wave for the crowd. Her reaction was.. mixed, since most of the crowd didn’t know her, seeing as she was only hardcore up until now.

Turning and ignoring the sounds of the arena, Seras stalked up to Sophie, placing a hand to her hip and staring upwards at her. She gave her a slight smile, before holding out her hand for her to shake..

“Just cause you’re new, I’m not gonna hold anything back. I hope you know that.. but good luck anyways.”

Sophie looked at her opponent and noted the difference in weight class. But it shouldn't be any trouble for her. After waiting for Seras to enter the ring, she listened to what she said and nodded. "I know that. Well, let's give them all a good show, shall we?" Shaking hands with Seras, Sophie would then ready herself for the match. She was all psyched up, ready to tangle against her opponent.

Soon, the bell was rung, and Sophie would take a stance, raising her arms. She wasn't sure what her opponent would do, whether she would go for a lock up or a strike. But her eyes would focus on her so that she could react to whatever her opponent would do at the start of the match.

“.. will do, Red.”

She gave her a small nod, taking a couple steps back to prepare for the match! The bell rang, signalling the beginning of her opponents debut.. as she herself noticed she was in a ready stance. Seras slowly began to circle, keeping her hands up.. but she wouldn’t dream about going for a lock up. She kicked off right into a sprint, Seras racing towards Sophie with a calculating look in her eyes! Starting off strong, she’d flip right into a handstand, her plan being to wrap her legs around Sophie’s neck and pull, bringing her along for a ride which ended with smashing her head into the canvas with a hurricanarana!!

Carefully watching her opponent's movement, Sophie would get ready for whatever Seras would do. When Seras performed a handstand, she knew what she was about to do and braced herself. Having Seras' legs wrapped around her head, Sophie would try to go with the flow, letting herself be thrown off, but instead of letting her head crash into the mat, she would tuck her chin in before attempting to roll over so that she would land right on the back of her shoulders instead. She would then try to roll onto her knees, shaking her head slightly before attempting to push herself up in order to prepare herself for whatever Seras would do after this.

Having successfully executed a devastating hurricanara, or so she THOUGHT, Seras leapt back up to her feet energetically, before turning around and surveying the damage dealt! But.. Sophie seemed absolutely fine, if not a tad ruffled! Narrowing her eyes, she’d watch Sophie rise up.. her eyebrow twitching in slight annoyance, her short fuse starting to light.

“Why.. you..!” Seras stomped on the ground, once, twice, and a third time to amp up the crowds! The fiery blonde took a step back, before racing forwards! Seemed pretty straightforwards, at least until she springboarded up from the heels of her feet, leaping into the air like a bird! Enough that her head was a bit higher than the redheaded heavyweight in front of her.. and then she twisted her lower body, spinning her leg in the air and aiming to slam her right calf right into Sophie’s shoulder region with as much force as her frame could muster!

Rising back up onto her feet after taking the hurricanrana from Seras, Sophie looked at her opponent who went towards her, launching herself into the air in her attempt to deliver a strike. Seeing the attack coming, Sophie would try to catch Seras in midair, hoping to grab her before she could land her hit, and from there, she would try to throw Seras down onto the mat with a body slam!

“Wh-!! Let go..!”

She’d grunt a bit, having leapt up to slam a kick to her foes shoulder.. but unfortunately, she was caught midair like a particularly pesky fly! Seras narrowed her eyes, squirming in her grip, and giving her an angered glare with the one eye visible from her bangs! She’s scowl..

.. before feeling herself being lifted up a bit and then slammed down to the canvas with a THUD, the impact shaking the mat! Her back slammed against the ground, her head ringing as she’d grit her teeth a bit, the lights of the arena swimming in her gaze.. her trying to catch her breath as she lay sprawled on her back..!

“Ouch.. t-that’ll sting..”

After plucking her opponent off the air, Sophie then slammed her down into the mat with a body slam. She knew that she had inflicted some damage on her opponent, and she picked herself up as she looked at her. Showing a satisfied smile, Sophie then bent down to pull Seras up for her next move. She was planning to keep piling more damage on her opponent in order to weaken her.

"We're not done yet." Sophie told her opponent as she would then put Seras into a side headlock, looking to keep her under pressure while wrenching her head, weakening her even more. At the same time, she would think of her next move, where she could inflict more damage on her opponent.

The body slam had rocked Seras’s body, and caused her to be in a slight daze for sure.. as Sophie clasped her frame and dragged her up to her feet, the much larger foe keeping her in a side headlock, almost as if she was crushing her head! A cry of pain escaped her.. but Seras wasn’t a mainly hardcore fighter for nothing!

Her pain tolerance was fairly high, as she wouldn’t just stand there and let Sophie just think of how to work her over and beat her down! While her upper body lacked the needed strength to slip out of her headlock, Seras pulled her leg back, and playing somewhat dirty.. kicked her in the back of her leg, hoping to make Sophie crumple!
