Mara Ashford vs. Arma-Gil-O - Sugar and Spice

A little dazed from an attack aimed to her back, Mara was on the mat, groaning. She tried to recover, but her recovery was slow, which allowed Gil to reach down to her and pull her up. Groaning, Mara found herself put into a standing headscissor, her head trapped between her opponent's thighs. She winced, feeling the pressure around her head.

"Nnnghhh... ghhh..."

For the time being, Mara was unable to do much, and she brought her hands onto Gil's thighs. She tried to wiggle her way out, but she remained trapped there, with Gil being able to continue with whatever plan she might have for her.

Gil would keep applying the head-scissors for a good while, loosening and tightening her grip on repeat, really taking full advantage of her position, she couldn't afford to blow this!

After a good, long minute of the hold knocking the breath out of Mara, Gil would let her get a taste of freedom from her legs, but soon there-after, she would be caught in another, perhaps even worse situation, one which was surely ore urgent!

"It's time to end this, have a good look, and a good taste...!" Gil situated herself in front of the kneeling Mara, pressing her butt right into her nose and dropping back hard, sitting on her face! Performing a variation of her finisher, the Dew Drop!

She sat pretty on top of her opponent, but the best part of this finisher was yet to come! She grabbed both of Mara's legs, tucking them far under her arms, attempting a pin! She rolled her up, taking both her hands to lift up, or more accurately, pull down Mara's bottoms ever so slightly, just for a little added effect...!

Mara was facing upwards as she was trapped in the standing headscissor, and she groaned as she felt Gil's legs around her head. She struggled, but it seemed that Gil decided to go for something big as she then dropped down and brought Mara's head into the mat. In addition to that, she also ended up sitting on Mara's face.

"MMPFHH!!"

The attack left Mara rattled. And seeing this, the referee came over and started counting. Disoriented, Mara could barely hear the count, and when the referee reached the count of two, Mara tried to break the pin, thrusting one of her arms up to remove it from the mat. She would even kick out to make sure that she could properly break the pin.

From there, she would try to shove Gil off her face. She needed to breathe properly, and her head was ringing. Things didn't look too good for Mara currently.

It was the best possible thing to happen for Gil! Smothers could often be chalked up to being merely humiliation tactics, only used to further rub in one's dominance, but Gil used them as her primary weapon, of course, she was far from the only person to do this, and definitely wasn't the first, but the move-set definitely allowed for creativity to run free!

Mara would break out, and kick free from the pin attempt! Gil didn't offer much persistence to stay on top of Mara, she had an even better plan...!

"You're really strong, Mara...! But I'm not a pushover...!" Gil smirked, standing up over the downed Mara's head, grabbing a hold of her hands, then, attempting to yank her up right back into her backside! Going for another signature, To The Moon!

Even after kicking out of the pin and shoving Gil off of her, Mara wasn't in a good condition due to her opponent landing right on her face earlier. Her cheeks flushed and she struggled to breathe, allowing Gil to continue with her onslaught. As Mara tried to pick herself up, Gil went to grab her hands before she pulled her up and hit her with a hip attack!

"GGHHH!!"

This left Mara rattled. Disoriented and unable to focus on her opponent, she became an easy target for Gil, who would surely take advantage of this while she still had time.

Gil couldn't rely on her upper-body too long, so it was time to improvise...! She. while keeping Mara's face pressed into her backside, squeezed her legs together, tightly around Mara's head to hold her in place!

That was much more like it, not only was it more comfortable for her, but it really doubled down on the attack's effectiveness, doubling both as a smother, and a scissor-hold!

Humiliation and smother tactics were great for just that, humiliation, but they could do so much more! Like dazing your opponent, and giving not just a sharp jab to their pride and ego, but also a sharp jab to their stamina! "Not half bad, huh?" Gil smiled, resting her hands on her hips. "...And it's hard to tell from up here, but maybe you even like it a little...!" Gil teased with a giggle.

Mara got her face sat on by Gil once more, and as she struggled underneath her opponent, she found herself being trapped in a headscissor as well. Knowing the trouble she was in, Mara tried to redouble her effort to struggle, hoping to break free.

"MMPHHH!!"

In her desperation, Mara would bring her fists up and attempt to punch at Gil's thighs, hoping that this would dissuade her from maintaining her position. She hoped that she could break free from this afterwards.

"You know, you're really resilient, most people don't know what to do when they get stuck down ther-" Gil's taunts would be cut shorts but a jab to the thigh, causing her teeth to grit and her grip to loosen.

"Ow! That hurt!" Gil's position would become unstable, giving Mara a great opportunity to not only break free, but possibly counter in some way, if she was fast enough!

She had been taught before how to maintain a smother, and for the most part, she felt like that advice was helpful, but against a punch or a strike of any kind, she was at a loss for what the answer for such a counter was!

Thanks to the jab to her opponent's thigh, Mara saw an opportunity to escape. Not only that, she also planned to turn things around in her favor. With a grunt, she would pull herself free from the hold, quickly sitting up. Taking a second to take a breath, she would then try to grab Gil by her legs, looking to roll her over onto her back, making sure that her shoulders would be pressed against the mat for a quick roll up pinfall attempt. The referee would come over and start counting for the pin.

"ONE!"

Gil's lofty position, having Mara's face stuffed up her backside, came back to really bit her hard in the end, the tables turned quickly against her, finding herself laying flat on her back and with her legs being lifted up to her head in a pin attempt!

TWO! TH-

Right as the three count was about to leave the refs lips, Gil used her legs to shove Mara back off of her. That was close, way too close for Gil, way to close for comfort, Mara's skill advantage and strength advantage in the more traditional sense really shined through.

Gil rolled back, lifting up resting on her knee, her hands both planted at either side of her, into the mat. "...Close, but close doesn't count, you have to see it all the way through...!" Gil lifted up completely to her feet, her never-fading grin showed great confidence, it was time to show that in action as well!

Gil launched herself toward Mara, recklessly and with intentions of putting this match to rest with a flying crossbody! Her speed was notable to say the least, but with enough foresight, it could be evaded, even if her speed might need to be closely matched!
