Tasha Jackson (D) vs Hikaru Sawazaki - A New Twister Has Formed

Unread post by Jaystar »

Standard Match
Victory Via Pinfall, Submission, DQ or KO

Tasha was ready. She was soooo ready.

The Alabaman had been hyping herself up for her debut match in LAW for a good while already. And it wasn't just for her eagerness and impatience to get to wrestle inside a real ring and a big arena again. It was also that new beginnings were always exciting! Whatever had happened in the past - tough times, failures, or bitter losses - they did not matter anymore.

All that mattered was going to be the first impression she was going to give, and her performance tonight. And based on how hyped and pumped up she was, she had a distinct feeling that tonight was not going to be a failure.

Hearing the energetic beats of Ida Corr's Ride My Tempo go off in the LAW arena, Tasha sprung just as energetically into action, charging off from the gorilla position and down the ramp. Jumping up onto the closest turnbuckle, she first took a good, long sip out of her signature sweet tea bottle that she was carrying into the ring, before jumping down and proceeding to greet the crowds at each one of the other corners as well. Then she was granted a microphone - something that was always good to have at one's debut.

"Hi y'all! Thank you, thank you... Hellooo LAW!!!", pausing for a moment for the crowds to calm down. "I hope y'all doin' gooood tonite! At least you should be.... 'Cause y'all about to get a great show tonight!" Tasha paused again for a moment, before continuing. "Why? Because me, Tasha Jackson, the Southern Twister is here! And y'all about to witness me tearing down the poor, unfortunate soul, who's decided to cross my path tonite!"

Done with the talking for now, Tasha then headed to her corner, taking another sip of her sweet tea before settling the bottle down by the ringpost, waiting for her opponent to make her appearance.

Hikaru was backstage and ready for action tonight. She was eager to try to win another match while facing a newcomer. While Tasha was making her debut she wasn't a rookie and Hikaru knew she was going to have to give her all to win. Clad in her yellow and black swimsuit, boots and kneepads she began to make her way towards the gorilla position backstage, jumping in place to work off her anxious energy.

Once her music began to play Hikaru came out and heard the crowd cheer! At least even if she didn't win as much as she liked her hard work did show them that she was no jobber, and not just a pushover even if she lost more than she won. Hikaru saw a large woman in the ring though, powerful looking, muscular, confident. Hikaru was going to out-pace her and use her technique to try to nullify the physical advantages of the large dark skinned woman in the ring. Hikaru walked up the ring steps and through the ropes, holding her arms out before heading to the center of the ring.

"Let us have a good match." Hikaru said as she extended her hand and bowed a bit to Tasha Jackson.

Tasha watched intently as her opponent made her appearance. She certainly was very different from Tasha! The pink hair was a striking aspect in her looks already from a distance quite far away, and as she made her way to the ring, based on the amount of cheers she was getting, undoubtedly she was a hometown hero as well! Of course that might have put Tasha in a little less fun position here...but then again, it didn't really matter to her! She was in Japan after all, and if she wanted to have success, well, obviously she was going to have to beat a lot of hometown heroes.

As Hikaru made her way to the center of the ring, Tasha could evaluate her physique. For sure it wasn't very intimidating, and it appeared that the Japanese girl was somewhat smaller than the Alabaman. But to be fair, she did not appear a pushover either! Frankly, Tasha had seen many local women who were smaller than her, and it could have very well been that Hikaru would turn out to be rather strong.

Well, there was only one way to find out about that...

"For sure, for sure! Let's have a good one..." Tasha replied as she accepted Hikaru's handshake, and hastily made a terribly clumsy attempt at replicating the bow at least somewhat... Right before the bell rang!

"So, ya wanna show me how strong are ya?" the Southern Twister started off by issuing a challenge, raising her arms ready for a lock-up. She was keen to find out what Hikaru would be capable of!

Hikaru was smaller and much less muscular both in terms of mass as well as definition.... but she couldn't back down from a challenge! She smiled, nodding to Tasha and letting out a scream as she ran in, grabbing the hands of Tasha and pushing with everything she had in her! She knew she was the underdog in this but she didn't care, Hikaru was giving this everything she had! "Here I come! YAAAAH!"

Sure it was likely a foolhardy attempt but she did not care. Hikaru was going to show Tasha that she would be up for anything and that she was not intimidated by the size and physique of her debuting opponent!

Tasha wasn't sure whether Hikaru would accept her challenge for the lock-up, especially as she did not appear to be the biggest and strongest wrestler around. And especially not inside this ring right now... But to the Alabaman's surprise, Hikaru did not hesitate even for a bit, before engaging herself in the lock-up with all her might!

At first, the two wrestlers were in a bit of a stalemate. Hikaru was really trying hard, and Tasha really had to ramp up the pressure herself! However, that began inevitably turning the strength contest into the debutant's favor, as slowly but surely the brave babyface had to take steps backwards. And Tasha on the other hand could not resist the opportunity to boast a little...

"See, you're against a heavyweight! It's not me who's gonna get thrown around the ring tonite!" the Southern Twister even embraced her status as a heavyweight, even if barely, in LAW. But her words weren't just without meaning. She was really starting to overpower Hikaru now, and even began trying to push her towards the corner, hoping to get the Japanese girl already trapped in it!

Hikaru was giving this her all... and she was falling woefully short as she was being forced back quickly! She groaned as her back was smashed with force against the turnbuckle, stomping her feet in place as Tasha had her stuck in the corner powerless to stop whatever was coming next! Hikaru shook her head in protest, her feeble attempts and token resistance more of a show of her frustration than anything effective at freeing herself.

The smile on Tasha's face widened as Hikaru's back smashed against the turnbuckle. The girl seemed nice and all and Tasha certainly had sympathy for her, but tonight she still wasn't going to go easy on her! If she had been given the chance to debut with an impressive performance, the Alabaman was surely going to make sure to take it!

"See? That was easy... Let's see if it'll be as easy for you to take flight!" The Southern Twister wasn't about to let Hikaru stay in the corner for long, and instead began to apply a waistlock on the babyface. Then she tried to send her flying and smashing back to the mat with a quick belly-to-belly suplex!

Hikaru went up into the air in the arms of Tasha only to crash down hard to the canvas! "ARGH!" Hikaru shouted as she smashed the canvas, her torso painfully aching after the big impact! Hikaru groaned and kicked her legs clearly in pain as Tasha was off to a great start against the Japanese grappler! Hikaru tried to shove her away and roll hoping to put some distance between Tasha so she could achingly rise back to her feet.

Tasha's suplex got delivered just the way she wanted, and Hikaru indeed appeared to be someone fun to throw around. Every indication seemed to be that this suplex was just the first of many to come....at least if Tasha could help it. It was still a bit of a mystery how much resistance Hikaru was going to be able to provide, but so far Tasha had no reason to believe that she wasn't going to be able to play with her opponent any way she liked!

Hikaru on the other hand wanted desperately space between herself and the Southern Twister, and as Tasha was getting back up herself, she could see the Japanese girl doing the same already several feet away. Not wanting to let her catch a break, Tasha headed towards her and decided to try snatching her into a bear hug or a rear bear hug, depending on which way Hikaru would happen to be when she'd reach her!

Hikaru felt Tasha grab her from behind as she was lift up off the mat and held in the air! "AAAAAHHHHH!" Hikaru shouted out in agony as the squeeze was very painful across her whole torso! Hikaru swung her elbows back, trying to smash Tasha in the side of the head repeatedly to hammer her way to freedom! Just because she was off to a poor start and smaller didn't mean Hikaru didn't have fight in her as she was hell bent on elbowing her way to a release from this painful hold!
