Aggressive, hard hitting rock music soon began playing on the speakers as Xiomara’s entrance music began playing loud and clear before she herself came out at the top of the entrance ramp. Smirking down at the booing crowd she tossed her ponytail back before bringing her whip cracking down ar her side. Despite being a prop the weapon cracked with resounding force on the ground as she flashed a devilish grin at the crowd. Wearing her usual black singlet with good accents she looked downright gleeful for this match, this tournament, and most importantly this oppurtinity.

Unfortuantely the one downside of this tournament was that her manager would be unable to accompany her out for this bout. But in a small way, Xiomara was ok, appreciative even of this. She wanted to win this on her own terms, and the fact she’d be able to savor the screams of her opponet all to herself helped as well.

Walking forward the princess of pain strutted down the ramp, swing the whip in her hand on either side of her as she did. The loud cracks of it making contact with the ground as she strutted down the ramp before making it to the ring apron. Walking up the steps she strutted out on the ring apron to the middle, cracking the whip once more to her sude she grabbed the top rope and leaned forward with her tongue out.

Swinging her leg up over the middle rope she swung herself into the ring with a cocky demeanor exuding from her. Dropping the whip as she entered she ran up the corner and posed with a arm up in the air. While standing on the top rope she brought her hands down to her waist and moved her hands sise to side, broadcasting to everyone she wanted that title. Hopping off the corner she turned and leaned against it with a evil smirk present on her face as she looked up at the apron, waiting eagerly for her opponet to come down and face her.

From where she sat backstage in the locker room area, Yuki could hear every crack of Xiomara's whip, in the air and against the surface of the ramp. But she tuned it out, taking slow and careful breaths. Whatever was going on, she wouldn't let herself be intimidated. This was an important match for her. Every match, to Yuki, was important; a chance for her to get out and do what she did best, to chase her passions and to prove they could take her far. But now, she knew, she stood at a crossroads in her career.

Yuki had long been chasing the Lightweight Championship. She had been the first contender against Aoi Fukiwara, and though she ultimately lost, the determination she showed in standing up to the champion proved her worthiness of the main event scene. Things took a turn for her at We Are LAW that year, where she suffered a humiliating defeat in a mercy match against Rose Gold - the very woman who now held the title, having crushed Aoi in a brutal assault right before Yuki's eyes at the next supercard. But Yuki had trained since then. She'd been on the ascent, scoring a string of successful bouts to prove that she was still capable of the big time. Her daring and determination had propelled her through the most painful night of her life, as she took on Amano Jaku in a barbed wire match that put her out of action for two weeks to recover from the injuries she'd incurred to her feet after climbing the barbed wire barefoot in an act of desperation - as well as bringing out a raw, bestial rage in her she didn't know she had, one that struck fear into even her.

Now, though, she was back. The timing was perfect - as soon as Yuki had been cleared to return to the ring, she had been invited to the Lightweight Classic. Her chance to reach for the championship once again, and to make everything right. This, she knew, would prove once and for all that she was still every bit the champion she strived to be. The prospect of facing Rose Gold again was still one that made her nervous, but she took a deep breath, clearing her mind. If she could survive Amano, she'd be ready for anything.

As the sound of driving pop music mixed with traditional instruments filled the arena, Yuki made her appearance on the entrance ramp. Over her yellow leotard with its attached skirt, she wore an open track jacket, and her face was placid and focused, her eyes narrowed and locked on the ring. She heard the cheers from the fans eager to see her return, or just excited at the prospect of her punishing Xiomara. With her pedigree proven in the ring even before LAW, the former Dynamite Schoolgirl was a favorite among speculators for who could win the tournament once the lineup had been announced, and the reception she received was fired up even more by the time she'd been out of action. As stoic as she normally was, Yuki couldn't help but smile as she looked back and forth at the stands, welcoming the cheers. She knew she'd have to do her best for everyone counting on her.

As she continued down the ramp, Yuki made her way to the ring, moving with determination, her head lifted high and her arms swinging at her sides. Finally, she came to the ring, turning to face the crowd one last time and pumping a fist in the air before she climbed up to the apron, and then, to the top rope. Letting her jacket drop from her shoulders, Yuki threw both arms over her head to the sound of even more cheers, before she leaped off the ropes to do a flip into the ring. As her feet alighted on the canvas, Yuki turned around to face her opponent, her head nodding to her in a silent acknowledgment of the match to come. She cracked her knuckles, staring Xiomara down with a look that told her she wasn't about to go easy on her.

Xiomara watched with dark interest as the music of her opponet began playing and Yuki came out. Immediately a smirk stretched across her face. Yuki was just her type. Not romantically, oh no, the former student was her favorite type to hurt. Proud, optimistic, a chip on her shoulder, it would be oh so satisfying to make the girl cry out in mercy.

Just the thought about what she planned to do to Yuki sent a euphoric shiver down her body, some of these ideas being inspired by Yuki’s most recent match. A bloody and decisive loss for the lightweight title hopefull that left the girl with a few scars that Xio was pretty sure she could see as she came closer. Speaking of which... in no time at all Yuki was in the ring, staring her down in a cocky way oh so common with high and mighty faces.

Smirking in a absolutely savage way towards the girl Xiomara would lean against her corner and throw her hair back cockily. ”Hope you’re ready princess. I’m gonna make what happened to you in that barbwire match against that other idiot look like a playground brawl.” She said sadistically, her dark nature manifesting even before the bell had a chance to ring!

Yuki took in a deep breath as she looked up, locking eyes with her opponent. She balled her fists at her sides, getting ready to strike - no matter what, she told herself, she wouldn't back down, or let herself be intimidated. She had just been through the most grueling and agonizing match of her life, and even if she had lost, she had never surrendered. More than anything else, Yuki had been out to prove that she wouldn't let herself be cowed into submission by any challenge, and as anyone was concerned she had done just that. After something like that, this would be nothing.

Xiomara knew about the match she'd been through as well - and she was eager to remind Yuki of it. The dark-haired girl sucked in a breath, her teeth clenching as she listened to her opponent taunt her about her previous match. But she resolved that she wouldn't let that hold her back. She could still win, as long as she held herself to it.

Narrowing her eyes toward Xiomara with a steely glare, Yuki took a step closer. "If that match taught me anything," she said, "it's that I'm ready. Throw whatever you've got at me - I'll still be ready for it!"

*DING DING DING*

As the ringing of the bell signaled the start of the match, Yuki took a confident stride toward the center of the ring. There, she held her hands out, offering a lockup. She watched Xiomara carefully all the while - if she could tell anything about this girl, Yuki was sure she would be an unpredictable opponent.

Xiomara smirked darkly at Yuki as she spoke with that proud look on her face, acting like she was some action star or something that had nothing to lose. But Xio would show her JUST how much there was to lose, starting with her dignity. ”Oh we’ll see about that.” Xiomara said to the yellow clad girl while licking her lips sadistically.

Xiomara smirked as Yuki approached her, confidence oozing out of every pore, ready for anything. At least thats what she wanted to convey. But Xio saw through the act. To her Yuki was just a scared little girl trying to prove herself tk the big bad world. Well Xiomara was gonna give her a crash course in just how bad the world could be.

Walking forward to meet her opponet Xiomara watched as Yuki held her hands out for a lock up making her smirk as she surprisingly accepted the lock up. “You like holding stronger girls hands? You definitely look like a subbie to me.” She said before either could start pushing. If the random insult caught Yuki by surprise, even a little, than Xiomara would immediately use their grip to pull Yuki in while throwing her leg up, attempting to land a knee strike right into her gut!

Listening to Xiomara's taunts, Yuki's fingers coiled tighter into fists, and her teeth clenched. She could feel the tension building up in her, her heart beating faster. Going into this match, Yuki was proud and assurred, confident in her ability to prevail. If she could handle Amano, she told herself, this would be nothing. Yuki could tell that Xiomara wanted to get in her head and work away at her conviction - but she was even more determined not to let that happen. This was her big shot to prove herself to the world, and she wouldn't dare to waste it, no matter what happened.

That said, as much as Yuki was determined to not bow to anyone, Xiomara was definitely getting on her nerves. She grumbled under her breath as she took her opponent's hands, her eyes narrowing in a glare. "S-Shut up..." Yuki muttered, her cheeks flushing faintly at the taunts. However, in reacting to her foe's teasing, she had let down her guard, and that was something Xiomara was quick to take advantage of - as rather than push back against Yuki, she instead pulled her closer, thrusting her knee up and aiming it for her gut!

"GAAH-!" The blow took Yuki by surprise, and she doubled forward hacking and coughing as she clutched at her stomach. Already, Xiomara had gotten in a cheap shot, and Yuki was paying the price. But she wouldn't let herself fall, and she wouldn't back down. Still bent at the waist, she lifted her head to fix a glare back up at Xiomara, before she threw herself forward with a fist aimed for her jaw! Yuki wanted to prove that she wasn't going to mess around!

Xiomara smirked as she saw the faint dusting of red spread across the girl’s cheeks from her little taunt. ‘Oh yeah. This is gonna be fucking good.’ She thought to herself as she pulled Yuki in, watching like a hawk as the girl’s went from one of flustered annoyance, to shock and then pain as Xio’s knee buried into her gut. As far as the princess of pain however.. her cadence was one of pure, unadulterated glee as she already began her torment of the face wrestler before her.

Watching as the girl doubled over coughing Xio couldn’t help but bask in the moment a bit and rub things in a bit. ”Ohhh poor little yuki chan. Not even a minute intk the match and you’re doubled over like a little- BITCH!!!” As she said her taunt Xionara soon payed for her hubris as a fist came flying right against her jaw making her eyes snap open and scream her last word in pain.

Recoiling back a few steps away from Yuki the monagasque native turned a now furious gaze over to the one that dared fight back against her. “You’re dead!” Xio yelled suddenly charging at Yuki like a bat out of hell, her fist rearing back and snapping forward to try and hit Yuki with a punch to the cheek, if it connected Xio would attempt to take advantage of the sudden flurry of movement to swing her other arm up, nails extended to try and rake Yuki across tbe face, hidden from the ref by the speed of their movments and swishing of their hair.

Yuki had let her guard down in the first few seconds of the match, and that was exactly what Xiomara wanted. She saw the opportunity and she seized on it, striking Yuki in the gut and sending her doubling over forward. This was by no means a good place to begin a match in, and Yuki knew it. She usually tried to stay calm and keep her composure for a reason - and when she had broken that now, she had paid the price. But there was still time to turn things around, she reminded herself - and, as she threw her fist in an uppercut aimed at Xio's jaw, she was going to make her move!

Yuki's blow struck just as Xiomara was finishing her thought. As much as her taunts made Yuki tense, clenching her fists and gritting her teeth, she had still proven that she could stand up for herself when she needed to, sending Xiomara stumbling backward. No matter what Xiomara said, Yuki was determined to prove her wrong!

But as the dark-haired girl was straightening herself to her feet, she looked up to see how her efforts had only served to make Xiomara angrier. She came barreling toward her, and though she tried to raise her guard, Yuki was unable to act in time before Xio's fist slammed against her cheek. Yuki coughed and gagged, her head turning to the side and her long, loose hair falling over her face - which, indeed, meant that the referee wouldn't see a thing as Xiomara grabbed her by the face and raked at it with her nails!

The pain of the knee strike was one thing, but at least that was the sort of dull force Yuki was used to in a career like this. This, though, was a move both brutal and cruel, one with pure hatred behind it! With Xiomara's nails digging into her cheeks, Yuki threw back her head and screamed in pain. She began to sink to the ground, her knees buckling beneth her, while her hands shot out in front of her to try and grab at Xiomara's wrist to push her hand away and take back control.

Xiomara smirked evilly as her fists sunk into Yuki’s face, the other lightweight buckling from her blows and the resulting impacts reverberating through her arms bringing a sick satisfaction to Xiomara. ”Aw whats wrong princess! You were talking that good shit a minute ago!” Xiomara taunted loudly as she brought her hand around using Yuki’s hair to hide her actions as she raked and gouged at the girl’s face with her nails.

It was a cheap move, one that was already earning a chorus of boos from the fans on high. But that wasn’t something Xiomara cared about. The fans could eat shit for all Xiomara cared, all that mattered was the expression on Yuki’s face, the pain and frustration and anger on her face. That is what she lived for.

However Yuki of course wasn’t going to just let Xiomara do whatever she wanted to her. Soon she felt the girl’s fingers clawing wt her hand, trying to pry her hand off her face. Tsking softly Xiomara knew it wouldn’t be long before the ref noticed or Yuki succeeded and got an advantage as a result. Deciding to cut her losses Xiomara growled softly and pulled her hand away from Yuki, but she would take advantage of the hunched over position Yuki had taken to deliver a knee strike into Yuki’s gut!
