The Heartbreakers vs. Irish Oldschool

Lauren hammered Misako but saw the tag made to Kyoko. So much for keeping Misako isolated.... however Lauren wanted to keep this from being a hot tag that led to her being crushed so she tried to move in and lunge at Kyoko trying to smash her in the abdomen with a fast toe-kick to double her over! Lauren was hoping to reach out and grab Misako by the arm and twist her torso attempting to Irish whip the newly legal Kyoko into the Irish Oldschool corner!

It had only gone off by a hair's breadth, but at the last second, Misako leaned in the extra inch toward her partner to make the tag, and it was Kyoko's turn to enter the ring. After the dark-haired girl had been subject to the relentless assault of Lauren's hard-hitting offense, the Heartbreakers would need to make the switch to a fresher woman in order to keep up the pressure and give Misako time to recover if they wanted to stand a chance. Now, as Kyoko entered the ring, her face lit up with a grin, and she eagerly threw some punches in the air as she closed in on her opponent.

Kyoko hoped that her intervention would turn the tide for the Heartbreakers, but Lauren already had a rebuttal in mind! Suddenly, the heavyweight's foot swung out, catching Kyoko in the gut and causing her to double over with a cough. She stalled just long enough for Lauren to take hold of her arm, and with a yank to the side, she was sent streaking across the canvas, crashing into the opposing team's corner! Letting out a yelp, Kyoko shook from the impact. Clenching her teeth, she began to sink lower, her head spinning.

Lauren came running behind Kyoko who was slumped in the corner. Lauren nodded to Peggy as she reached out to tag Peggy in and opted to give one last old school gift to Kyoko. Lauren pulled her away from the corner to scoop her up and slam her down as hard as she could before she stepped between the ropes to stand on the apron as Peggy herself climbed through the ropes with a grin on her face!

"Lass lemme show ya how hard I slam so you can tell me which hurts worse!" Peggy said, smiling as she been down to try to deadlift Kyoko off the mat to deliver a second scoop slam to her in succession! Irish Oldschool were rolling and Peggy wanted to keep it that way!

With a thud, Kyoko landed against the corner post, dizzied from the impact. The world around her was spinning, and she could barely concentrate on anything in front of her. Her footing at last gave out from under her, and she began to sink low. Of course, she wouldn't get far. Soon Kyoko would be lifted up again - this time, by Peggy, as she hoisted her into a scoop slam!

The crowd cheered the Irishwoman on as she dragged Kyoko's feet off the mat. The redhead was still groggy, but on feeling herself lifted, she was shaken back to her senses, looking around to find herself high off the ground! "H-Huh..? Hey-!" she gasped, kicking with her legs as she tried to squirm free. But it was hopeless - and soon, Peggy brought her back down with a thud! The canvas shook underneath Kyoko's impact, her legs kicking up into the air. As she settled down, Kyoko lay flat, staring up at the lights with a groan!

Peggy pumped a fist into the air and smiled. "Come on lass, ya little ladies ain't gonna beat real women!" Peggy said as she pulled Kyoko up by the hair before whipping her over towards the ropes. Peggy was going to give chase and extend her arm looking to clothesline Kyoko hard as she ran back at Peggy! She was going to try to keep dominant and on top of these cocky ladies so the world could see what Irish Oldschool could do!

Still dizzied from the landing, Kyoko was trying to catch her breath and find her bearings, her body twitching and stirring on the mat. She still didn't feel like she was in any shape to get up, and she winced at the thought that she was in a perfect position for a pin. But what Kyoko didn't realize was that Peggy wasn't done with her yet - and in fact, getting pinned was the least of her worries right now!

With a yelp, Kyoko was pulled back to her feet by the hair, her knees buckling underneath her as she tried to center her balance. Her hands reached up to grasp at Peggy's wrists, trying to push them off her scalp. "Hey, hey, watch it-!" But her efforts were futile - and soon, Peggy slung her right across the ring, sending her into the ropes! She rebounded off of them, coming charging back toward Peggy faster than she could realize what she was doing - and she looked up just in time to see Peggy lash out at her with a clothesline that swept her off her feet again!

As Kyoko fell back to the mat with a gasp, it was now Misako's turn to call out words of encouragement to her partner - if one could call them that. She punched at the turnbuckle in frustration, gritting her teeth. "Come on, Kyoko, get it together! You can do better than that!" But Kyoko was still down, her head spinning!

"Yeah! These little ladies ain't nothin!" Peggy shouted as she sent Kyoko crashing to the mat. Peggy was rolling and winked at Lauren before she pulled Kyoko up, wrapping an arm around her head. Peggy wanted to grab a leg and lift Kyoko looking to bring her crashing down to the mat again with a fisherman suplex! Irish Oldschool were off to a great start and Peggy wasn't about to waste that! She put everything she had in to it, making the ring shake with the impact! Keeping that leg hooked and back arched she had Kyoko in a pinning position from the move and the referee slid in to place.

"ONE!"

All Kyoko could do to meet Misako's calls was a low groan under her breath, her eyes glazed over in her dazed state. She was still limp and heavy as Peggy grabbed her head and hoisted her up, her body slumped against her side. By the time she finally stirred to her senses, she looked out just in time to see Peggy ensnare her leg, and the realization hit her just then of what was supposed to happen! Her eyes went wide and she let out a gasp, but it was too late to stop anything - and she was soon whipped back through the air with a scream, coming hurtling toward the mat!

Kyoko hit the mat once again with a loud smack, her body bucking up off the canvas as she shook from the impact. She soon settled down with a groan, deflating underneath Peggy's form as she kept her leg hooked and pulled back to bring her shoulders against the mat.

"TWO!"

The Heartbreakers were really in a predicament now. They might have underestimated Irish Oldschool at first, but the team of Peggy and Lauren was running roughshod over them; every time the Heartbreakers thought they knew how to claim the upper hand, their opponents found a way to turn the tides against them. Misako's fingers clenched the ropes tighter, her teeth clenching in frustration. She knew they really had to turn things around soon if they wanted to stand a chance!

"KYOKO!! Come ON!" she shouted, stamping a foot against the mat in frustration as the ref looked to raise her hand a third time. But it was just before the three-count that Kyoko stirred to life, kicking out of the pin. She jerked herself back up to a seated position, as though shaken from a bad dream.

"GAH! I'm okay, I'm okay!"

"Then get back up already!" Misako chided.

"Right, right, right!" Kyoko attempted to roll away from Peggy, looking to get a safe distance from her opponent before getting to her feet.

Peggy saw Kyoko rolling away and crouched waiting for her to rise. She smiled as she saw Kyoko starting to rise. She wanted to keep her team in control, and the somewhat soft middleweight woman began rushing at Kyoko. Peggy wanted to leap into the air trying to fly into Kyoko right as she got up only to flatten her against the mat with a running cross body block! At least, that was the plan anyway. Peggy and Lauren wanted to be taken seriously, not looked at like some undercard gate keepers women had to beat to make it up to the mid-card.

Lauren watched and clapped on the side, smiling and strutting about on the apron. "Come on Peggy! We got this!" Lauren cheered as she saw Peggy running towards Kyoko knowing that Peggy was going to attempt the running cross body block.

Kyoko wasn't quite in the right frame of mind to get back to her feet right away. But she could still move - and she knew that with how the members of Irish Oldschool were coming at her, she would need to get out of the way as soon as she could, lest she be faced with further trouble. Rolling back toward her corner, Kyoko eventually deemed it was safe enough to get back up - only to look up with a gasp as she saw Peggy was coming hurtling straight toward her!

In that moment, Kyoko found herself paralyzed in shock. She hadn't anticipated that Peggy would be back up so quickly - in her head, she would be looking at an opportunity to seize control right about now, not at the Irish girl running toward her on a collision course! She still had a few short seconds to get out of the way, but she couldn't find the will to!

Misako, meanwhile, saw what was coming as she looked out from her corner. When it became clear that Kyoko wasn't getting out of the way, she shuddered, going tense at the thought of the incoming collision. But if Kyoko wasn't going to act...she'd have to take matters into her own hands!

"Hey, DUCK, Einstein!" she called out, shoving at Kyoko's back from over the ropes. She would attempt to bring Kyoko off her feet, knocking her down before Peggy could hit her and leaving her foe to come crashing into the turnbuckle instead!
