Athena Wonder vs. Amy Evans - Battle of the Strong

Grunting as she tried to not use her injured leg as she stood back up, Athena looked at the direction of Amy, who was at the ropes and seemingly disoriented thanks to the DDT earlier. Athena knew that she had to make use of this opportunity to attack, or else she would be in greater trouble, considering that she was having problem keeping herself on both her feet.

As Amy was still in the ropes, Athena would try to charge forward, forcing herself to ignore the aching sensation on her foot as she would extend out her arm, planning to hit Amy with a lariat right across her upper chest, hoping to knock her over the ropes and sending her outside the ring. Hopefully, her attack would hit and her opponent would end up crashing on the floor outside the ring.

Amy was back on her feet but she was unable to press on the attack against Athena who she knew that her leg was going to keep aggravating her, she had to make sure to keep on playing on that and force her to submit or just taking her down. To make matters worse once she was up Athena was moving in after her arm raised and crashing her arm into her chest while on the ropes.

"Nggaagh!" Amy screamed as she was slammed against the ropes slowly sent backwards and ended up going right over the ropes, rather then just bouncing off them she rolled over and fell to the floor. While her legs hit the floor first the momentum caused her to lose her balance and crumble to the floor. A wounded animal Amy growled tending to her leg while she was still on the floor.

Sending Amy over the ropes to outside the ring, Athena then leaned against the ropes, resting a little, wincing due to her aching leg. She saw that Amy was outside the ring, tending her own leg. She knew that this was an opportunity she couldn't let slip away from her grasp, so she would grab onto the top rope as she would once again ignore the painful sensation on her leg.

"Take this!!"

Yelling out, Athena would send herself upwards onto the top rope, using it to launch herself into the air. She was planning to hit her opponent with a splash outside the ring. This was a risky move, but she knew that if the move was successful, she would be hugely rewarded. While she might get herself hurt along the way, the outcome certainly outweighed the risk.

Amy was hurt but still fine enough to fight, the landing had only hurt her leg because she didnt exactly land gracefully and unfortunately for her foot injuries were some of the most noticeable. She was slowly making her way up to her feet and finding she could put pressure on the leg which was all she needed to be able to do to fight, but as she was coming up she heard Athena's scream and looked up to see the women sailing at her. And to make matters worse she was far too close to actually dodge so all she could do was put her hands up to try and brace herself.

"Shhnngh!" Amy screamed, despite her power there was no way for her to catch or fend off a women like Athena jumping down at her like that and both of them tumbled to the ground. While her arms took some of the blow the sheer force behind it sent her down with a loud thud from her back hitting the padded floor, Amy was hurt no two ways about it and could only rely on Athena being hurt worse for her to take over from here.

It was a daring stunt from Athena as she leaped out of the ring, looking to crash into the body of Amy who was outside the ring. She managed to take her down, though the stunt did put some damage on her. She cried out in pain as she hit both her opponent's body and the padded floor outside the ring before she rolled herself over onto her back, gasping for air.

"Ughhhh... nghghh..."

Athena was aware that she was no longer the young woman she was before, but she didn't become one of the successful wrestlers in the world without being a risk-taker. Groaning, she would try to sit up, ignoring the pain wracking her body as she looked at the direction of Amy, whom she presumed to be in greater pain than she was. Hopefully, she would be able to take advantage of this.

Amy was hurting, though her body was trying to feed off her adrenaline to blunt out the pain and get up, despite Athena being the aggressor it seemed to affect her just as much. All she could do now was recover and attempt to get back up so she could start taking Athena down even a her body was rather feeling the effects of the sudden splash.

Both women were getting up rather slowly given what happened as Amy was surprised by the hit and Athena was feeling the effects of the beating she had taken earlier. Eventually Amy would try and get to her side turning to try and punch Athena's gut, before trying to smack her in the face to knock her down as well.

Both Athena and Amy were currently outside the ring, and the older woman tried to get herself up, but her progress was slow. As she looked at Amy, she saw the younger woman turning to her side before attempting to drive her fist into her belly, causing the mature blonde to gasp out in pain. "AGKHH!!" Then, Amy went to smack her face, rattling her even more. "UGHHH!!"

Gritting her teeth, Athena would try to push herself back up, glaring at Amy before attempting to smash her forearm at her face, hoping to rattle her. Meanwhile, due to both of them being outside the ring, the referee had already started counting for countout. If they didn't return into the ring before the count of ten, then the match would end with a countout.

"THREE!"

"FOUR!"

Despite both women being hurt it was clear that Amy and Athena were hurt the two were trying to fight and keep the other women down despite needing time to heal. Amy's punches were hitting hard but hardly enough to stop Athena from retaliating soon after with a forearm and slamming it into her face.

"Gaaggh!" Amy growled and staggered in place. She heard the ref counting down closing in on what would be the end of the match if they didn't find there way back in but Amy didn't plan to stay for too long, just long enough to overpower Athena. Returning fire Amy would bring her forearm to Athena's skull to try and knock her down.

Hitting Amy's face with a forearm smash, Athena was looking to return back into the ring, but Amy retaliated with a forearm smash of her own, hitting her right at her head. "UGGHHH!!!" The attack managed to knock the blonde veteran down, stopping her progress. At the same time, the referee continued counting from inside the ring.

"SIX!"

"SEVEN!"

Amy didn't wait to attack knocking Athena down and bringing the older vet under the fellow blonde. Amy stumbled forward looking to be in control but it didn't mean she could just follow up after the fact, she felt the strain from earlier attacks and the time was almost up. She could press the attack with something big but nothing that would be devastating could be set up and hit within the time for a three count, or at least not with enough time for her to get in the ring. Furthermore Amy would be damned if she took a count out victory, nothing pissed her off more then being unable to actually say she beat her opponent, so she'd have to bring her along

"Back in the ring we go." Amy said moving in to try and pull Athena back up, though she would kick at Athena's leg to keep her from being able to fully stand and then throw her towards the ring to smash her into the apron. From there she would drag her and herself into the ring right after to finish her off.
