Meeting Your Fans (for Lederface)

Astrid didn't have much trouble bringing Yukari off her feet, pulling down on her arm and sweeping her to the mat. The Norsewoman was used to facing opponents that dwarfed Yukari in size, and she barely had to put in any effort to tossing around the considerably smaller girl. However, she wasn't down for long. Refusing to let Astrid take advantage of her positioning, the lightweight quickly pulled away, her arm slipping free from Astrid's grasp as she rolled aside and left her sparring partner stumbling after her.

As she got up, Astrid soon righted herself in turn, looking back at Yukari with a smile. "I have to admit, that was a good reversal," she said. "Of course, we're only beginning..." And with that, she would swing out with her forearm, looking to strike at Yukari!

Yukari had managed to escape from astrid, which excited her, and when she saw that her opponent planned to hit her with his forearm, she would take advantage of her agility and try to pass under it, if she succeeded, yukari would try to reach astrid's back, where she would try to do a foot sweep

I know, and that's why I have to show you how willing to fight!

Astrid had thrown her forearm toward Yukari, aiming low to reach her given the difference in height, but still with considerable force behind it - her muscles weren't just for looks, after all. If it landed, it would surely take a lot out of the smaller girl, if not put her out entirely. But what Yukari might have lacked in size, she made up for it in her speed and agility. She ducked down, darting around the path of Astrid's strike just as she was about to connect it, and leaving the Norsewoman's forearm whiffing harmlessly through the air!

Astrid had little time to adjust to the change in positions. Yukari had circled behind her, and though Astrid tried to look back over her shoulder, her foe was already in motion. She kicked at the back of Astrid's ankle, sweeping her footing out from under her! The blonde went toppling forward, landing on her knee with a thud. There, she panted for breath - and as she looked back at Yukari, a smile spread over her face. This girl really had spirit, and she was willing to do whatever she needed to to prove herself! The fact that she was willing to wrestle Astrid at all showed her courage, and so far she was delivering on her promise!

"Then by all means, show me your best!"

Yukari, having managed to knock her opponent down, would mean something that even to her was shocked, but when she heard him show her the best she has, she quickly ran to place her in a camel clutch, pressing with all his might, to let Astrid know who she was.

Although negative ideas would come to mind if she lost, which were sad at times, but Yukari tried to ignore them so it wouldn't affect her for the moment.

Astrid was impressed with the spirit Yukari was showing - to say nothing of the results she could achieve. She looked out at the girl with a smile, the sort a proud parent might show to a child who had just accomplished a major success. But of course, Astrid wasn't here just to sit back and showed Yukari with praise. As with any time she got into a ring, sparring or no, Astrid was going to give it her all!

Yukari managed to circle behind the Norwegian, her fingers grabbing for her chin as she hauled back on her head. Tossing her head back with a groan, Astrid clenched her teeth, her neck and back arching against the force of Yukari's yanks, but she wouldn't bend to her. She'd been in holds like this plenty of times before, and she figured she could handle it! Showing her endurance and willpower, Astrid went to force her feet underneath her, struggling to push off from the mat and straighten herself to her feet with her opponent still attached. Even if Yukari was holding onto her chin for dear life, Astrid wanted to take her for a ride!

Yukari would use her strength to try to significantly tighten her opponent's neck, but it would seem that that was in vain, since she would feel Astrid get up and regain her position, something that would scare her, but she would see in this an opportunity to attack with this, trying to place her legs on astrid's neck and throw herself on her back, hoping this would work to put pressure on the champion's body

Even with Yukari grabbing at her chin, Astrid was determined to power through it. Even if her opponent was new to LAW, and might have lacked the sort of training of some of the league's elite, she still couldn't go easy on her. Every time she stepped in the ring, she was out to give it her all; it was part of the respect she showed any of her opponents. And even then, Yukari was proving herself to be more capable than Astrid had given her credit for!

The champion pushed herself to her feet, groaning as she tried to bear the weight of her opponent on her back, but her strength prevailed, and she was soon able to rise. Yukari, however, simply changed her tactics, going from a camel clutch to a chokehold! Astrid knew one thing for sure - a hold like the one Yukari had locked in was the great equalizer in wrestling. No matter how big or strong a wrestler might have been, everyone only had so much air. If Yukari could keep it held down long enough to compromise Astrid's reserves, she would be in trouble!

Nevertheless, Astrid grit her teeth, narrowing her eyes. No matter what the odds were, she was determined to power through them, and to do her best! She took another stp forward, moving her way toward the ropes, even when she coughed and gagged with each step. As she made a stride forward, she began to sink lower - just when Yukari repositioned herself again, this time getting her legs around Astrid's neck before throwing herself back down, her back against hers.

Feeling the pressure on her throat reignited, Astrid stumbled, going to one knee. She braced herself against the ground with one hand, trying to keep herself up even as she twisted and turned against Yukari. She had to commend the lightweight's technical work; in using her legs, she switched from her fatigued arms to a fresher part of her body, buying herself more time, and the way in which she threw herself over Astrid's back threw a wrench into the balancing act between them, catching Astrid off guard and causing her to stumble. Of course, it was hard to really appreciate Yukari's work when Astrid was the one being targeted by it!

Yukari would hold her grip long enough to feel like her opponent seemed to start to suffer from the lack of oxygen, so when Astrid tripped and fell to the ground, Yukari would take this unique opportunity, quickly let go of her and running to the nearest corner, she would climb up to to be at the top, and her mind would begin to imagine it as if it were a real fight, so she would raise a finger in the air and jump back to try a Moonsault to fall on her opponent's breasts

With Yukari releasing her grasp on Astrid's throat, the Norsewoman slipped down further, landing on her back. As she stared up at the ceiling and panted for air, she rubbed at her throat, trying to dull the pain from where Yukari had grasped her windpipe between her thighs. This girl might have been smaller and less experienced, Astrid thought, but she knew a thing or two about wrestling. But her teeth clenched and she groaned as she felt the pain in her neck - Astrid knew all too well that she would be facing similar tactcs from Cyber Widow in her coming championship match. If there was one part of her body she couldn't afford to have weakened, it was her neck!

Astrid was, however, broken out of her thoughts a moment later as she looked up, seeing where Yukari had taken a place on the ropes above her. Her breaths slowed as she regarded the scene. Even if they were only sparring in the gym, and a nearly empty one at that, Yukari was still playing to an imaginary crowd by holding up a finger, signalling her next move. Astrid had to admit, she knew what she was doing. She could practically hear the fans cheering Yukari on. But all that mattered now was if the lightweight would be able to back up her showmanship with results. The champion thought about getting out of the way, but she paused then. She might have sworn to try her best, but she was curious about what Yukari would do next, and how she would pull it off. In fact, Astrid wanted to experience that firsthand!

She wasn't disappointed, either! Yukari hurled herself off the ropes, flipping through the air to come crashing down onto Astrid's chest with a moonsault! The Norwegian bounced off the ground from the force of the impact, letting out a pained cry. Panting for breath, she rolled over on her side, clutching her breast to try and ease the pain in it. But she looked over at Yukari with a smile. "Not...bad," she said. "Not bad indeed...where did you learn that one?"

Yukari when she felt how she collided with Astrid's body, it would feel as if it were a real fight, and when astid asked where that movement had come from, she would answer: From the professional male wrestler, beowulf, although my partner pantheon proved it to me ......., knocking out one of my partners in the process

And without wasting time, she would move until the girls were face to face and yukari, feeling capable of winning, would place her forearm on Astrid's neck, squeezing it.
