Athena Wonder vs. Scarlaheart - Red and Red Don't Mix

Athena just chuckled to herself upon hearing Scarlaheart's words. She carefully watched her movements and saw that she was going for a lock up. Athena would bring her hands up, readying herself to do the same. But as soon as her opponent was getting closer, she suddenly surged forth, driving her shoulder into her belly.

"UUGHH!!"

But the impact wasn't enough to knock Athena down. But what came next might be able to do that as Scarlaheart wrapped her arms around her waist as she used her leg to flank Athena's. As a result, the veteran blonde fell backwards, and she grunted when her back hit the canvas. "Ghhh!!!" Even so, she wasn't that rattled, so she would try to shove Scarlaheart and throw her to her side.

Tensions never seemed to build between them, mo matter Scarlaheart’s efforts to prod their composure - affirmed by Athena’s chuckle-y response. Ironically, it irked Maria a little. But never enough to force any mistake in her stride, where she baited the veteran into a lock-up, then laid siege to their balance. She fought an uphill battle, and her sensitive knees pinched with a second push. A hot breath filled her throat, corked by tight lips as her leg flanked Athena’s, bringing her down! The crash caused the wind to shoot out in a sigh. Her heart pounded inside her chest like the muscle punched her ribs.

She needed a moment, leaving Scarlaheart’s vulnerable state easy pickings for Athena. Hands thrust against her shoulders - her upper-half careened, then gripped and tossed onto her right shoulder, slapping the canvas. Her arm curled up, shielding the brunt. She winced as momentum carried her into a roll, her hand finding the bottom rope before she kicked up to both feet. Narrowed hues stalked Athena’s recovery, waiting for them to sit-up or stand. Whatever primed the target. A stampede of feet charged forth, aiming to cut down the heavyweight with an executed leap, both knees brought up in like pistons, then shot like pistons for an explosive dropkick aimed at their chest!

Pushing Scarlaheart to her side, Athena took this opportunity to recover as she would then sit up. Shaking her head and controlling her breath, she was planning to push herself back up onto her feet, but it seemed that Scarlaheart wasn't going to let her do that as she charged towards her before she leaped up, looking to deliver a dropkick right at her chest.

"UFFFHH!!!"

Athena was taken down once more. The attack sure left Athena slightly breathless, and the pained expression on her face indicated that the attack did deal some damage on her. But soon after her back hit the canvas, she would try to push herself up again, though the progress would be slow, which would allow Scarlaheart to continue with her momentum.

Both feet found their home. She threw everything into it, then collapsed upon her side, the rush filling her limbs with initiative, where she whipped around and kicked back up to her feet, flipping her hair back. An intense stare zoned in, stalking them like a predator would see a prey; patience and diligence as her play, keeping distance until they pushed up once more.

Right then, she lunged, stomping her left knee forward. Her arms pounced like vipers, seeking to press her palms onto the back of Athena’s skull, then push it down. If successful, her right leg reared back and tried delivering a knee strike against their stomach. Then it stomped, allowing her left leg to repeat the strike. Again and again, the onslaught sought to wear her opponent down. The question was - how many until she fights back?

Taken down onto the mat, Athena tried to push herself up so that she could recover, but her progress was slow, allowing Scarlaheart to continue with her attacks. As she struggled to push herself back up, Athena saw Scarlaheart pouncing towards her, and she couldn't muster enough effort to move away, allowing her opponent to push her down before she went to hit her stomach with her knees several times.

"GUHUU!! GUOHH!! OOPGHH!!"

Athena took all those blows directly, air knocked out of her lungs. This would leave her breathless, unable to do much, which would allow Scarlaheart to continue with her momentum, dealing more damage on the blonde MILF.

An open assault left unchallenged. The only limits were her malice, thrill, and boredom. How foolish it seemed, though she didn’t mind. Hahaha, not at all. And over time, her hands found an ironclad grip, one she intended to use as they inched towards the turnbuckle.

"Age has made you sluggish, hasn't it?"

A cheeky corner-smirk blossomed, glancing outward as they neared the aim. Once her focus re-settled, she tried lifting their head with a claw upon their scalp and smash their face against the turnbuckle. Should it land once, Scarlaheart had no qualms about attempting it a second time! Only then she would release.

Still breathless from Scarlaheart's assault, Athena couldn't stop her opponent from grabbing her head before she was slammed face first two times into the turnbuckle, leaving herself disoriented. She slumped against the turnbuckle, groaning in pain.

Still, she knew that she had to do something before things became untenable. So, after having her face smashed into the turnbuckle, Athena would try to swing her arm towards Scarlaheart's direction, hoping to at least deter her from doing any further damage. She needed to get some time to recover, and she needed to delay her opponent so that she could regain her strength.

With unending success blessing her offence, a sense of pride filled her up, akin to her last run in a fighting sport. Everything felt like instinct, beyond the calculation of her eyes, the superiority of the Reinhardt mind, born to dominate and control. Then an arm came across her collar. Her legs became feathers, and she found her back kissing the canvas, rebounded into an upright sit; her arms crossed over and wheezed. “Keh-k!”

She hacked her next breath and hissed, a flutter sat within her eyes from the whiplash. Now she scooted back towards the other corner, using a hand to push her along the canvas. Anything but ceding control to Athena, now woefully aware that this woman had a bite, even in times of weakness. She had forgotten her doctrine. Caution. That wouldn’t happen again.

With the swing of her arm, Athena managed to stop Scarlaheart from continuing with her upper hand. Leaning against the turnbuckle, Athena looked at her opponent, who made her way towards the opposite corner, presumably to distance herself from her. She wanted to capitalize on this, chasing after her opponent, but in her current condition, she would need some time to recover.

So, Athena would let Scarlaheart be as she would use this opportunity to recover and regain her strength. Shaking her head as she got rid of the cobwebs off her mind, she stepped away from the corner, ready for her next clash with Scarlaheart. Having squandered her opportunity earlier, Athena decided to think of another plan as she would approach her opponent at the other corner.

She settled a hand on the turnbuckle and gripped it. A hand still across her chest, she peered back and narrowed her hue. Then she scaled onto one knee and turned to face. That hand reached to grip the top, then pushed until she stood once more. Both hands now gripped a rope, leaned forward and rebounded into the turnbuckle. Now, the predator waited for the prey to loom closer, closer, and closer until the jaws of her intent can sink.

Which came when Athena came within range. She set her balance against the turnbuckle before hopping, coiling her knees into her chest before she shot them towards Athena’s chest.
