As she saw Widow turn aside, Astrid felt tingles of excitement going down her spine. With how she was poised to lean in and grab the veteran, her attempt at blocking wouldn't protect her, and it only left her open for Astrid to take the advantage. She would have smiled, were she not lost in the action. But the adrenaline had long since taken hold, and Astrid was fully focused on the action in front of her. She saw her chance, and she had to take it!
Widow was unable to slow the force of her descent. Even if she stood head and shoulders over Astrid, the Norwegian was so fueled by determination that she barely felt a thing in lifting her up. The crowds cheered just seeing her lift Widow, and they cheered even louder seeing Astrid slam her head-first into the mat. No matter how much Widow might have tried to keep Astrid guessing, when the champion hit she could hit hard - and Widow would take the full brunt of that!
Not long after her landing, however, Widow would get away from Astrid's clutches. She rolled with the motion, slipping out under the ropes and leaving Astrid empty-handed! For a moment, she was surprised to feel the weight of her opponent relieved from her grasp. But she soon rolled over to all fours before starting to get to her feet - and that was when she saw Widow outside the ring, doing nothing. Astrid scoffed at the sight; she could hardly believe what she was seeing. This was the woman who was so confident she could take her title off her?
"What is this, Widow?" Astrid called out, going over to the ropes. "Running away!? Too afraid to face me head-to-head? Here, I thought you were up to the task! You do think yourself worthy of holding the championship, no?"
"Two!! Three!!"
"A true champion is no coward! If you feel like you can take me on, get back in the ring and prove it to me!" The crowd cheered for Astrid, hearing her express the very thoughts they themselves wished they could say to Widow. The champion grinned to the sound of it, pounding her fist against her chest to gesture to herself.

Re: Heavyweight Championship Match: Astrid Ostberg (c) vs. Cyber Widow
The ringing in the back of her head stops, that german suplex took a lot more out of her then she expected it to. Deciding to milk the count and recover fully on the outside, not minding the crowd jeering or Astrid taunts directed at her. Smirking with a smug look in her face knowing that it pissing her opponent off, even going as so far to give the middle finger to the fans.
"Four !!!!!! Fiveeeee!!!!!"
Widow stays on the outside just waiting time even looking under the ring apron, pulling out two chairs one that she keeps hidden and holds up the other one. "Me scared of you... I wasn't the one flinching scared from a little kick... Now with this.",She says holding the chair up for her and the ref to see. "Would put the odds back in my favor don't you think champ.."
Pushing the chair inside the ring, waiting for the ref to either grab the chair and toss it out of the ring. Allowing her plan to work by sneaking the other chair inside the ring, so that she could use it on Astrid when the ref is not looking. Going with her plan and planning on swinging the chair not at Astrid head but her already injuried leg.

Re: Heavyweight Championship Match: Astrid Ostberg (c) vs. Cyber Widow
Despite Astrid issuing her challenge, Widow was unphased. In fact, she was ignoring Astrid altogether! This infuriated the Norwegian, her fists balling at her sides as she fixed a glare on her opponent. It was as though Theresia had no respect for her opponent or even considered her worth caring about. But what really angered Astrid was when Widow lifted a middle finger to the fans, something that caused them to boo her even louder. She knew that they preferred Astrid over her, and she was making her feelings on them known, dragging innocent bystanders into their conflict. As Astrid clenched her teeth, the veins in her neck bulged and she leaned over the ropes, clenching them tight. "HEY! I'm talking to you!" she called - but of course, her words fell on deaf ears.
Widow continued to ignore Astrid as she tossed a folding chair into the ring from under the apron - and this made the champion fall silent. Not with fear, but with confusion. How brazen did Widow, a woman who had already made herself persona non grata to wrestling commissions all over the world, have to be to go for such a tried and true rules violation right under the nose of the referee? What was she planning?
Astrid could only watch as the ref picked up the chair, wagging her finger toward Widow. "Don't even think about it!" she cautioned, before turning throwing it back over the ropes. In that moment, though, the ref had taken her eyes off Widow - and so had Astrid. She was only reminded of the situation when she heard a sudden metallic crack echo behind her, followed by a surge of pain going through her leg.
"GAH..!?"
Astrid fell to her knees, clutching the back of her leg to try and nurse the pain. In doing so, she left herself open, but for now she was too focused on the stinging sensation in her leg, her teeth clenched in a grimace.

Re: Heavyweight Championship Match: Astrid Ostberg (c) vs. Cyber Widow
Just like the fly that comes into the spiders web, Widow baited the champion knowing that Astrid pride would not let her back down from her being in the outside. But just the ploy of using one of the oldest Heel tricks in the books, and seeing it work to perfection.
Climbing back into the ring, as if she is stalking the wounded champion like a predator does it prey. Reaching down grabbing the Norsewoman by the leg dragging her to the bottom ropes, placing the limb on the rope."Your title reign is coming to an End Astrid... soon you will be gone from this company.. "
Jumping up an stomps on the leg, using her massive 209 pound frame to keep stomping on the limb wanting to weaken it as much as possible. Before the ref comes over to forcibly push Widow back, to come over and check on the champion from the challenger brutal strategy to claim victory.
The crowd is clearly on the champion side booing loudly but are concerned for Astrid who is taking an onslaught of damage to her leg, some even thinking that it might be damaged to the point that Rose took to take the lightweight title.
"Where that so called Honor huh... That doesn't help you win matches it just makes you weak.. Get up and fight me.."

Re: Heavyweight Championship Match: Astrid Ostberg (c) vs. Cyber Widow
Astrid may have boasted of her commendable strength and endurance, but compared to some of her contemporaries, she was never the most cerebral of wrestlers. There were times she could be oblivious, some might even say clueless. When Widow tossed the chair into the ring, Astrid thought nothing of it. She passed it off as another one of Widow's tricks, and one that she couldn't possibly hope to get away with. That, of course, was the entire point. Widow wasn't so brazen as to cheat in front of the ref, but in believing she was, Astrid had taken the bait. And now, she had paid for it.
The Norwegian clenched her teeth, her body tensing from both pain and frustration. Her leg still throbbed with the pain of where Widow had struck it, and she shuddered, each motion she made reminding her of where it hurt. It was becoming quite clear by this point that Widow intended to target Astrid's leg, going after same spot over and over again. Each blow she landed was meant to weaken Astrid a little bit further, up until she had her crippled and helpless.
But all of what had happened was nothing compared to what Widow would do next. She dragged Astrid over to the ropes, laying her leg against the bottom rope, and stomped down against it with all her weight!
"GYAAAAAAHHH!!" Astrid threw her head back, her body reeling from the pain. In the first few seconds after the impact, Astrid wasn't sure whether or not her leg was already broken. With how much she hurt, enough for her leg to go numb, she wouldn't have been surprised if it was. For Astrid, everything went by in a haze, and she didn't realize where she was up until she heard the referee usher Widow away from her.
For a moment, Astrid lay there, her leg still on the rope. Her whole body ached, and she gasped for breath, her blonde hair splayed out around the mat beneath her head. She tried to straighten herself, to push off the ground, but it was a battle just to move her body. The referee asked her if she could keep going, and for a moment the fans watched in a tense silence. Could Astrid make it?
But she nodded her head. There was too much at stake for her to give it up now. No matter how she hurt, she still had to do what she needed to to keep Widow down!
"Honor!" Holding onto the ropes, Astrid lifted herself back up. She braced herself against the cables as she turned to look back at Widow with a glare. "A funny thought, you talking to me about honor! You're going to call me weak?"
The crowd gasped at what Astrid did next. Though her leg might have hurt, she was determined to power through it, as long as that was what she needed to do to catch up to Widow. She planted her foot on the mat before her, her body locking up at the pain coursed through her. Her eyes squinted shut, and her teeth locked in a grimace - but she kept going. She put the other foot in front of that one, then again.
"True strength is standing up for what you believe in, no matter what! Even in the face of overwhelming odds...it's knowing that you still can't back down!" As she closed in on Widow, Astrid slowly grew more and more confident, sure she could take her on. At last, she broke out in a charge toward her opponent, throwing her arm up for a clothesline!

Re: Heavyweight Championship Match: Astrid Ostberg (c) vs. Cyber Widow
The damage has been done... It's easier to beat an opponent who only has one leg during a match. Especially when your opponent is a power house who needs her leg's to give her that extra impact when doing a move, but that wasn't the only reason why Widow targeted Astrid leg... She knew the champion would be prepared for neck strikes so to keep her guessing and focus on another injury.
She would say this... Astrid is pretty tough seeing that her leg should be injured enough for anyone lesser to give up and quit, but this one... Not so much seeing the champion raise to her feet after the telling the ref that she can keep going.
Hearing the girl speech about Honor and true strength hearing those same stupid words from her father and his brother, what worse is hearing them again after she was banned from every company. That just sends her into a rage not even seeing Astrid but Lars in front of her. That slip up cost's her as a clothesline slams into her chest rocking her and sending her backward.
"...I ...Hate you...", low words as Widow clutches her chest glaring at her opponent. The fan's cheer trying to rally the champion after she nailed a blow to the challenger who has been in control for most of the match, some even chanting Astrid name.
Widow is leaning against the ropes annoyed and even doing a mocking clapping with the fans. "True strength then watch me crush that and you in front of everyone..Your father will pay for what he did to me...", She yell's out more driven by rage and lunges forward trying to tackle Astrid to the ground.

Re: Heavyweight Championship Match: Astrid Ostberg (c) vs. Cyber Widow
Every step Astrid took forward hurt. Right now, her leg wasn't in any shape to keep moving or to support her weight, and as she drew closer to Widow, she clenched her teeth and hissed from the jolt of pain that shot up along her spine. But she knew she had to keep going, whether it hurt or not. To yield to Widow would be conceding the victory to her, and proving that she won - not only in letting her take control of the match, but in allowing a move from her to affect her in this way. That was something Astrid couldn't let happen. She was willing to bear through the pain if it meant getting her hands on Widow!
After a few steps, she was close enough to throw herself at the veteran, her arm raised for a clothesline. As she struck her in the chest, Widow went back - and Astrid stood tall in front of her. Hearing the cheers, Astrid smiled. She felt the confidence swell in her heart. If she could land a hit on Widow now, she stood a chance. She could still win!
She couldn't celebrate forever, of course. Astrid soon turned her attention back to Widow, her brow narrowing as she heard her taunts. Once again, she was bringing her father into it. She saw what Widow wanted - it didn't matter that Astrid was here right now in front of her in the ring, so long as she could punish an Ostberg. She had no respect for Astrid herself, so long as she could use her as a proxy for her revenge!
Her blood boiling with anger, Astrid balled a fist and pounded it against her chest. "Only one person is going to be crushed in this match! Why-" But that anger was just what Widow wanted. In getting angry at her, Astrid let down her guard - and that left her open for Widow to strike!
The Norsewoman only had a short second to realize what was happening to her, as the full weight of Widow's body came crashing into hers. Before she knew it, she was going toppling back, sailing through the air on a collision course with the mat below! Soon, her back struck the canvas, shaking the ring as she grimaced with pain. Her head was spinning and Widow had taken the top position over her - a recipe for disaster!

Re: Heavyweight Championship Match: Astrid Ostberg (c) vs. Cyber Widow
The crowd groans seeing their champion be taken to the mat again, doubt starting to creep into their heads that maybe the champion had bitten off more then she can chew. Everything Astrid had done or any strike that landed on her opponent, Widow would strike back but in a more brutal fashion almost to the point of wanting to injured the Norsewoman.
Even the fan's watching at home are thinking what everybody else is thinking, that tonight a new champion will be crowned and the other will be injured so badly.
Getting top position over Astrid was a lot easier then she thought, all it takes is a few simple words and her anger takes over. But when that happens it makes her easier to read and to counter, she just needs to keep Astrid on her back foot at all times and not let her get rolling or it be a short night no matter how badly her leg is dinged up.
"You think I was done huh..." grabbing Astrid by the head, transitioning from top position to her her back locking in a guillotine choke hold on her opponent. Even going so far as to wrap her leg's around the champion mid section, and starts to squeeze finally starting to target Astrid neck now.

Re: Heavyweight Championship Match: Astrid Ostberg (c) vs. Cyber Widow
It wasn't just the fans that were noticing Astrid struggling with trying to keep her opponent down. For the champion herself, the nagging doubts were starting to set in; no matter how much she tried to keep the pressure up on her opponent and force her to back down, Widow seemed unshakable. Just a moment ago she had just felt assured she had broken through her challenger's armor, forcing her to show a rare moment of vulnerability that proved that Astrid could go even further. Yet the Norwegian barely had any time to boast before Widow came right back swinging, her tackle sending her to the mat! If she couldn't keep Widow down no matter what she tried, what hope did she have of beating her?
Gritting her teeth and trying to draw on what reserves of strength she had, Astrid sucked in a breath, her muscles firming and rippling beneath Widow as she clenched her fists and her whole body went tense to follow. She attempted to push herself off the mat, but before she could get far, Astrid suddenly stopped in her tracks. A surge of pain shot through her wounded leg, newly awakened by the motion she put herself through in rising up, and she dropped onto her back, crying out in agony! The fans gasped at such a display of vulnerability from the famously tough Astrid. But what frustrated her most of all wasn't the pain. It was that she couldn't prove she was stronger than Widow, to prove she could get back up no matter what her opponent did to her!
Already, everyone was on the edge of their seats as they watched the ring. But what Widow did next was even more striking. A hushed silence fell over the arena as Widow grabbed Astrid's head and rolled behind her to hold down on her neck in a brutal guillotine choke, anchoring her legs around her waist. Astrid hissed and shuddered from the pressure around her ribs and stomach, forcing the air out of her lungs as her face began to redden.
Inside her head, things were getting even more tense. Astrid knew now that Widow was targeting her neck, the very part of the body she'd attained a reputation for breaking. She'd taunted Astrid about her inability to break her father's neck in the same fashion, and made it clear that she wanted to make up for it with Astrid herself. If she let that happen...it was all over!
Astrid twisted and turned in place, more determined than ever before to fight back with all she had. If there was one time she couldn't let herself be weak, it was this one. She reached now for Widow's arms as they wrapped around her throat, attempting to push them apart. She would fight as long and hard as she had to, just to spare herself this fate!

Re: Heavyweight Championship Match: Astrid Ostberg (c) vs. Cyber Widow
The fans start to cheer again, trying to will the champion again. Seeing that Astrid is struggling in the brutal submission hold by Widow, so they keep cheering even clapping their hands trying to get her going and fight back. They don't want to see the challenge as champion that is why their cheering as hard as they can.
Widow glares hearing the chanting, the clapping, and the cheering going on just to stop her from winning, but it fine she will kill their happy little ending. She going to ruin it and show everyone that Astrid will always be nothing but a Paper champion in her eyes, and she does not respect her at all she is nothing compared to her.
Trying to dig in the hold as tight as she fully can, even trying to squeeze Astrid mid section with her body scissors as well. If this doesn't work then she will do whatever she can to win this match, even doing more things that would seem illegal in the people eyes but that fine she is not here to win any polls or be some wrestler who people who could look up to her.
" Give up Astrid... Give up you little Bitch your reign has ended."
