Grace was eager to get this match started. She had been around much longer then she did without a match and now that she was getting one she didn't want to blow it. Her opponent looked impressive but looks and actual skill didn't always correlate, Christie was going to have to show her that she meant business or Grace would run her over to show she meant business. Still she couldn't help but be excited for the chance she was getting tonight. New place and new faces always made her happy.

"Alright its time." Grace said coming out to her music as the crowd cheered the new fighter. Smiling as she stood at the front with her hands on her hips she took a bow before she started to come down to the ring and started shaking a few hands that were offered to her as she moved to get up and look around at the crowd. Rolling her shoulders she leaned against the ropes. "Lets see what Christie has in store for me."

Christie was backstage, as energetic and cheerful as ever, excited for her LAW debut. She seemed to have drawn the short straw for a debut opponent, however, as she would have to face the powerful heavyweight Grace Kenning! Many people were betting against the Brazilian teen, saying Grace would toss her from pillar to post. Christie, however, was a firm believer in the saying “It’s not the size of a dog in a fight, it’s the fight in the dog”, and she was going to give Grace the best fight she could muster!

After Grace would enter the ring, an energetic dance tune would begin playing, signaling the arrival of Christie Monterio! The crowd would cheer as the young energetic middleweight as she would do a quick little dance on the stage, making sure to really move her hips, before bounding down to the ring. Entering, she would walk up to her much taller opponent with a hand on her hip and a small smile. “I feel like I should introduce myself. I’m Christie Monterio, go easy on me~” she would tease as she extended a hand to Grace, looking for a handshake.

After a short wait her opponents music played through the arena as the girl came out and pretty much danced her way down to the ring. Which was good for showing off her athleticism and umping up the crowd but she had to imagine that was wearing her out a bit. Though she was just going to assume the girl knew what she was doing, afterall she had heard this girl could fight and wasn't about tot think she would be doing anything needlessly.

"Grace. and no promises I'm afraid. Afterall I'm here to impress people and have a good time, same as you." She said with a friendly smile and a handshake. Backing up as the ref went over the rules Graced nodded her head in understanding before muttering a silent prayer to herself to do well here. You only get to debut once, and she wanted to make it count. One the bell rang Grace would start to move and close the gap. Christie seemed like the kind of fighter you didn't want to let have any space so keeping her close and letting her power do the talking was her best bet, closing in and trying to lock up with the fighter.
