Emiko Tanaka-Walker vs. Mikhail (D)

Emiko Tanaka-Walker vs. Mikhail
Match Type: Standard
Victory Conditions: Pinfall, Submission, Knockout, Count Out, Disqualification

Emiko had been in the locker room having finished changing to her usual attire and had a big grin on her face. This would be Emiko's first taste of mixed competition at L.A.W. and the first time she had wrestled with a man who was not her husband. This was a bit of a tough pill to swallow for Cal, who naturally was not the most comfortable at his wife getting into up close & personal contact with other men, but Emiko pointed out he competed in mixed as well and in the end both trusted each other to keep ring business between the ropes and greater affection between them.

Emiko knew little of her opponent, which given she was a relative newcomer to L.A.W and her opponent was making his debut was a shock to no one really though regardless of what he ended up being like she was determined to give it her all and make sure she made a good first impression in the mixed division. Soon enough she would get the signal for her match and she soon smiled as she got up and made her way to the gorilla position where he theme would begin to play.
Emiko's Theme
Soon Emiko made her way to the stage, waving to the crowd as she seemed in high spirits and had a competitive grin plastered on her face showing she seemed quite confident in herself. This was further shown in her pace as she moved with a strong step forward and seemed to meet the ring with a cool assurance as she walked up the steps and entered the middle rope without wasted motion. Emiko had yet to develop much of a following, but she had been getting more support with more matches she had been booked in so she hoped this match and this win she'd strive for would serve to further grow her fanbase.

Emiko posed in the ring and blew a kiss to the camera, a token gesture to her husband and daughter watching, as she then moved to the corner and waited for her opponent to make his arrival.

As soon how his favourite song begins to play in the background Mikhail approached the arena, putting little attention to the low audience, nor the fact that practically all the spectators were there to watch his rival, not to him, also knowing that he would be booed by those people, he walked with indifference towards the ring, grimming because in the end the only thing that matters are results, with that motto he got into the ring.

As soon as Mikhail saw his rival, he couldn't help but smile, "(aaaahh such a beautiful woman, mmm she doesn't look like the naive type, but if I could fool her it will be an easy victory and after all, why would she doubt a good looking debutante like myself?)" thought the fighter while a macabre strategy formed in his mind.

"Hi there, I'm really happy about this opportunity, please, let's have a fair fight so the best wrestler wins" the man said addressing his rival, while scratching the back of his neck pretending innocence.

After listening whatever his opponent has to say and when the bells rings, Mikhail plan is to take a defensive stance to study Emiko's moves, because he thinks that learning what her attacks are and making her lower her guard is well worth leaving the first moves to her, even if he take some damage.

Emiko watched as her opponent would head to the ring, curiously he seemed to draw some boos which caused Emiko to raise an eyebrow. The guy was just debuting, how could he already have gained any negative reputation. Then again it was a little small and could be dismissed as just a cold entrance more than anything, Emiko tried not to put too much into it.

Once her opponent, Mikhail, arrived in the ring, he seemed to present himself as a respectable gentleman which Emiko could not help but smile at. This seemed to only make the scant pre-match boos feel more undeserved as she gave a respectful Japanese-style bow to her opponent.

"Why thank you, I hope for the same. Let's give it all we have and give these people a show." Emiko said with a respectful tone and spirited vigor seemingly oblivious to the deceit of her opponent.

When the bell rang, Emiko seemed to also adopt a more cautious, defensive stance. Her knees bent, and arms just out ahead of her as she began to circle her opponent. Emiko had been at this game long enough to know patience, and would try to wait out her opponent for him to advance first to seize him up.

The woman wrestler seems to have little predisposition to make the first move, too bad, so Mikhael, while still pretending to be a good boy, gives some steps in Emiko's direction "you will let me do the first move cause I'm the new guy? well thanks" he smiles and then raises his right arm while leaning a bit, making a little too obvious his intentions to strike her, then he proceeds to dash forward "well here I go!" shouts while he launches a clothesline, to see if that woman could dodge that attack or, at a better scenario, study her endurance.

Her opponent seemed quite earnest, but from Emiko's POV perhaps he was a touch too earnest as he was giving the oversea veteran plenty of tells of what he planned to do. Between the call out and extended arm before he moved she could see the clothesline coming a mile away, as such it was easy enough for Emiko to duck underneath it and get behind the debuting star.

Emiko aimed to quickly try to wrap her arms around his waist, if successful she would then attempt to use her power to lift Mikhail overhead and try to slam him with a German Suplex.

Mikhail paid dearly for the mistake of underestimating a veteran wrestler, he expected her to be fast, but he did not imagine that she had so much strength, but it was too late to do something about it, the moment she took him by the waist any attempts to get away were in vain, the woman picked him up as if he were but a child and the man quickly felt the price of his arrogance being paid by his spine.

"Ouch ouch ouch" shouts Mikhail, almost biting her tongue, to avoid saying anything that could shatter his facade of innocence, now he is on the ground trying to get up.

Emiko seemed pleased with things as she managed to hoist up and slam Mikhail down which granted her the initial edge, and edge the veteran on her comeback tour aimed to build upon as she worked to move over Mikhail and aimed to grasp onto his arm. If she could she would try to roll herself and by extension Mikhail around so she'd get him on his back and wrap her legs around his arm.

If she was successful in her goal, she'd aim to lock in a cross arm breaker submission in an effort to try and begin wearing her respectful foe.

"Nnn no noo" the male wrestler began to lament as the veteran controlled him on the mat, with her precise movements Emiko had no difficulty catching him in a painful cross arm breaker, the hold was wearing him out in a matter of seconds, but thanks to his other limbs the debutante managed to reach the ropes, crawling in a somewhat regrettable way.

Mikhail expected the woman to release him as soon as the referee confirmed that he had touched the rope, after seeing his opponent's skills the young man knew that trying to play fair any longer would be foolish.

"AAAHHH!" he screamed even if the woman had already released the hold, "My arm is broken, oh my god, your demonic woman, what the fu... AAGGHH?!" screaming and writhing in feigned pain Mikhail would try to attract the attention of the woman to the arm, to use a direct eye poke in her the moment she lower his guard.

Emiko had acted accordingly as she broke the hold the moment the opponent had a hand on the rope, but as she stepped back it seemed that her brief submission had done more damage than expected as he began to cry as he claimed to have a broken arm and cursed her while Emiko appeared to be both confused and had a touch of guilt.

She had done the move hundreds of times over her career, even before coming to L.A.W. and never applied pressure to bone breaking levels, had she made a rare slip in judgement?

The referee worked to check if Mikhail could continue, as Emiko also moved to check upon him her compassion shining through as she moved a knee down beside him. "I-I am terribly sorry can you lift your arm?" Emiko asked oblivious to the trap being laid at her feet.

"Sure I can!" shout the man as Emiko comes close enough, poking her eyes, with two fingers of the same hand he was pretending to have broken. The boos from the public and the scolding from the referee did not wait, yet the woman's expression, a mixture of disbelief and pain, would be enough on their own to make all the situation worthwhile.

"What do those cute little eyes of yours see?" He mocked, but cheating wasn't just for fun, as soon as the referee finished giving him a quick warning, "The Big Mouth" charge towards his rival, wanting to give her a combo of palm strikes, two against her face and the last, and strongest, one towards her breasts, thinking that if she couldn't see them she could not dodge... Bursting with laughter after the last hit.
