Nia sighed in frustration as she put the final touches on her outfit. It had been months since she had a match, and it seemed the higher ups had forgotten all about her. Still, she had a match now, so she wasn't going to complain directly, although whoever she was paired up with was going to feel her frustrations this day. After about ten minutes, she got the cue to enter. Her theme blared over the speakers, and out came Nia to a rather neutral response.

Not to Nia's surprise, the crowd wasn't really cheering or booing, as Nia hadn't really established herself in the LAW scene quite yet, as she only had one match, and that was months ago. Nia wasn't ever one for brags and fuss, unlike some of the roster, so she just entered the ring and went to her corner, waiting for her opponent...

Not long after Nia took her spot did Ryuko appear, waving her arms to the crowd to a small amount of cheers and jeers herself, having only had a single match before this that she'd been completely squashed in. Ryuko had told herself backstage as she went through her stretches that this was going to be different, she wasn't going to underestimate whoever lay in wait for her in that ring, not this time.

The redhead confidently climbed onto the apron and bolted over the ropes, sizing her opponent up as she looked the beauty up and down, she was gonna be tough "don't lose to quickly okay?" she lightly teased before moving to her own corner.

Nia stood in the corner and watched her opponent enter the ring to a modest fanfare, more so then Nia, anyway. As she entered the ring she heard her opponent trash talking in a thick Australian accent. Nia just rolled her eyes, "North vs. South, such an antiquated concept, don't you think?" Nia said to no one in particular. Nia was never one to trash talk, or talk at all really. Nia just shrugged and gave the ref a nod to start the match. The bell rang and the match officially started. Nia, not one for fancy tricks, went for a lockup and start from there...

Ryuko idly rolled her shoulders and shot Nia a toothy smirk as the bell rang and stepped forward to meet Nia in the lockup, deciding to cut the banter and focus this time round for now at least. Ryuko grit her teeth as she looked up at Nia, she was heavier and taller the redhead and Ryuko knew she wouldn't win in a bout of strength outright pushed back with all her might against Nia trying to hold her off for a few seconds and if she could manage that Ryuko would try to pull Nia in towards herself, turning as she lowered herself in a attempt to flip Nia onto the Mat and use Nia's bigger stature against the Alaskan brute.

It seemed to Nia that Ryoko wasn't the strongest, but, sometimes strength alone won't win a match, The two pushed and pulled each other, neither one seemingly having an advantage over the other. Just when Nia was about to break the lockup and try for something else, her opponent got under her and the forward momentum sent Nia ass-end over tea kettle and tumbling onto the mat. Nia wasn't mad, more impressed then anything. Nia would attempt to counter with a leg sweep, and if this was successful, grab Ryuko's belly in a stomach claw, hoping to wear down the plucky Australian.

Ryuko was also impressed with herself, stunned she pulled that move off, hesitating in her stupor for a moment only to be brought to the mat by a sudden leg sweep, Nia’s strong sweep easily dropping the redhead to the mat with a thud.

Ryuko would try to roll onto her belly to stand but instead find Nia’s hand digging into her vulnerable belly. Her face instantly contorted in pain and the girl fought to urge to scream although pathetic whimpers did slip from her mouth occasionally, Ryuko wanted to drive a knee into Nia’s gut and drive her off badly but the fingers digging into her gut messing with her nerves made it hard for her to respond much at all, her arms helplessly sprawled out and her body arched. as she glared at Nia and tried desperately to get her body to move.

Nia had never seen anyone submit to a belly claw, and it was way to early for her opponent to submit to anything right now, so she released the hold, plus, although Nia won't admit to it, her hands were also cramping up, Nia would finish her assault on Ryuko's belly with an elbow, then she would attempt to get behind her with a sleeper hold, hoping to further wear down her opponent. However, something about her opponent wimpering earlier just felt...right...

Ryuko gasped in relief as Nia released to hold, the redhead instantly tried to scramble to her feet but couldn’t even get off her back before Nia delivered her savage elbow into her weakened abs, causing Ryuko to cry out with a wheeze as the wind was knocked from her, leaving the redhead a kneeling target a easy target to secure the sleeper hold but not without Ryuko trying to drive her own elbow into Nia the moment the taller girl slid behind her soon to be victim.

Soon enough though those thick arms coiled up around Ryuko’s throat, constricting the life out of Ryuko like two pythons crushing their pathetic prey, leaving Ryuko to sputter and choke, there wasn’t much the weaker girl could do Nia was all over her like a blanket smothering out a dwindling flame, a flame that was fading fast.

Ryuko’s hands instinctively moved to those bulging biceps trying to pry to bigger girls arms off, her mouth falling open in silent gasps the tighter Nia’s grip got refusing to be choked out like this even as she became slightly light headed from the choke Ryuko would muster all her strength in a attempt to lift up enough to fall back against the mat and at least hurt her foe some and potentially break the hold with a slam.

It was clear to Nia and everyone else that she was in control of the early going of the match. Nia could've just choked her out right then and there, but, Nia, although she wanted to win, she also wanted to have the match last more then 2 minutes, so, without any rhyme or reason, she let the hold go. Nia shook her head in disappointment and got up, hoping that this Australian had SOMETHING for her...

Ryuko dropped to the mat, taking a second to catch her breath and rub her throat, she turned and glared at Nia as the redhead stood back up, she was getting clearly angry now, her expression on of fury after being let go, was this bitch not taking her seriously? She grit her teeth in frustration. She stormed Nia, ducking and coming in low attempting to slam a powerful punch of right into Nia’s stomach!

She’d follow that attack up if it landed by sweeping out Nia’s legs with a kick, if this worked Ryuko would follow her foe to the mat, dropping herself atop Nia’s back with a thump before locking the heel firmly in a camel clutch, fingers intertwined around Nia’s throat, Ryuko would arch back and bend Nia as viciously as she could with a furious grunts and groans, the redhead really trying to inflict as much damage as she could on Nia.
