"...Riiiiiiight" Hanabi said, not really buying Deanna's story, specially since she was obviously leaning against the ropes in order to sustain herself, apparently she was having quite hard time standing up after the Boston Crab. The pinkette girl decided to humor her and begin the attack for herself. "I'll go for you then..." She proclaimed, feeling a little guilty about fighting a defenseless girl.
In a second, she was talking to Deanna normally, the other, she sprinted at her with full killing intend. Hanabi ran at her to kick her in the leg, maybe that will make her move it! After that, she would try to kick her once again in the head, moving quickly and changing kicks even quicker. At last, she would finish her combo with a speedy hip-attack directed to the silver-haired girl's stomach, intending on pushing her off quite a bit, and if luck was by her side, maybe even take the air out of her lungs!

Re: Diamond in the rough: Deanna Duncan vs Hanabi Kawai
Deanna was happy to take her time letting Hanabi come at her. It was an effective strategy, at least for the interim. But Kawai had come prepared, coming at her with a swift kick to the leg that Duncan had deftly avoided! A kick to her head followed, and the Diamond ducked that but then, a flurry of kicks came. Some blocked, some dodged, some outright hits, but nothing completely debilitating!
"Deanna, you need to stop her," said the even tone from Cheyenne Blackrock, her tag partner.
Deanna would then see the hip attack coming and then yank herself with the top rope out of the way, hoping that she would find herself in the ropes! "That's enough!" exclaimed Duncan, swinging forward with a kick towards Hanabi's gut, hoping to send her through the ropes and then onto the outside, if she was fortunate! She could certainly use another moment from that flurry of strikes her opponent surprisingly unleashed on her!

Re: Diamond in the rough: Deanna Duncan vs Hanabi Kawai
Hanabi sure was brutal for all her sweet girl appearance. She brutally tried to beat up Deanna with a flurry of kicks and a deadly hip attack, but the Diamond made a feat of her skills by avoiding it all decently enough. The ashen-haired woman would attempt to make her stop with a kick, and it was powerful enough to get her off of the ring as if she was hit by a truck.
"AHHHH!" That very moment, Hanabi learned that just because her prey looks cornered, they aren't necessarily weak enough for the kill. She stood up with some difficulty after taking the hard fall. Looking at Cheyenne, Deanna's companion who looked extremely deadpan for all the things happening. "Uhm... Hi?" She stopped a moment to greet her opponent's friend, only to try and get to inside the ring quickly after that.
It was time to be a little bit more intelligent with her attacks if she truly wanted to hit Deanna and make her stay down. The purplette thought while she made it to the ring and checked on her foe.

Re: Diamond in the rough: Deanna Duncan vs Hanabi Kawai
Deanna's swift dodge did the trick at just the right moment. And then, after another moment, Duncan's kick was right on the money, sending Hanabi out of the ring and to the outside. Then, Deanna collapsed forward onto the ropes, grinning as she looked down at her fallen opponent, sticking her tongue out giddily. And when Hanabi had turned to face Cheyenne, the powerhouse would simply raise a hand in a brief wave of acknowledgement.
The Diamond would be prepared for Hanabi to get back in the ring though, and she would position herself and wait. Deanna had the advantage now, even if Hanabi didn't seem like she was quite ready for that. And so, Duncan would use her know how to run forward and attempt a baseball slide on Hanabi before she could even fully get into the ring! When she needed to be, Deanna could absolutely find her spot, and she was hoping this spot would be it!

Re: Diamond in the rough: Deanna Duncan vs Hanabi Kawai
Just as she ran to make her return to the ring, Hanabi was kicked straight in the face by Deanna's boot. "Ghhh!" All she could do was to groan in pain as the impact made her fall on her ass. She had to give it to the Diamond, she packed a helluva kick in there. It managed to make her sight fuzzy and dazzled. Feeling the burning pain in her nose and face.
SHe might have been slightly blinded, but Hanabi still managed to see clear enough to see her foe's legs hanging from the sides of the ring. "Was that your attempt to make us even?" She asked out loud before trying to catch Deanna's legs and drag her by them to the outside with her. "Then allow me to make us uneven once again!"

Re: Diamond in the rough: Deanna Duncan vs Hanabi Kawai
With a swift maneuver, Deanna leaped and then nailed the baseball slide directly into Hanabi, catching her before she could enter the ring again. She had a cheeky grin on her face, leaning her arms on the middle rope as she looked down at her wounded opponent. "Even? Come on, baby. This makes us--Hold--!" And before Duncan could properly retort, Kawai had grabbed her and tugged her out of the ring as well!
Sliding out to the ring, the Diamond had managed to land on her feet, scowling. "You know, actually?" said Deanna, leaving her words to end there. She would then start to throw forearm shots towards Hanabi, perfectly ready to get into a striking battle on the outside. If the girl wanted to play games on the outside of the ring, Deanna was more than prepared to throw down with her right there.

Re: Diamond in the rough: Deanna Duncan vs Hanabi Kawai
In the heat of the moment Hanabi decided to drag Deanna out of the ring with her. She wasn't expecting for the ashen-haired girl to actually retaliate with a few punches of her own. It appeared that the Diamond wasn't shy about throwing punches in the danger of the outer zone. And while Hanabi was no chicken, no way in hell she would be counted out like that!
Deanna hit, and it sure hurt, but Hanabi was used to way worst than that, so she managed to block the strikes. "You don't know when to fold them. Do you?" She questioned momentarily before trying to give a knee strike to her enemy's stomach, if this were to be enough to stun the reckless wrestler, the pinkette girl would try to get back inside the ring before she was counted out.
