Smart Strikes: Artemis Grace vs Sharon Donnery

Artemis had let things get away from her this match, she would admit. There wasn’t much she can do at the moment either to try and turn things back in her favor either. She was in the most unsavorable position possible, not to mention... the devastating pain in her chest was debilitating to say the least. She couldn’t do much more than gasp and sputter as she leaned forward holding ber chest.

It made her perfect prey for Sharon to say the least. Before she could say or do anything she found herself dragged up to her feet by Sharon. But before she could act on this she found the green haired woman’s arms locked tightly around her chest making Artemis simultaneously blush and grunt in frustration. Knowing this couldn’t be a warm and affectionate embrace the blonde prepared herself beofre being tossed over Sharon’s head, crashing into the mat with thunderous force! ”Aghhhh!!!” Artemis cried out in pain as she arched her back while rolling onto her side in pain.

Sending Artemis crashing down into the mat with a belly-to-belly suplex, Sharon looked at her opponent and wondered if the suplex was enough to take her out. Of course, the move itself, while powerful, wasn't a really a match-ending one, considering that it lacked the focused power that one would associate with finishing moves. But Sharon thought to test her luck and see if the move had taken Artemis out or not.

So, Sharon would get herself over Artemis, making sure that her opponent was on her back. Reaching down to one of her legs, Sharon would pin Artemis down, and the referee would start counting for the pin next to them.

"ONE!"

Artemis gasped, wincing sharply in pain as she held her back following that suplex, the dharp pain in her spine having driven the air from her lungs. Attempting to roll to her side she groaned and tried to collect herself, tried to do somwthing as she tried to wit up... only to be forced down on her back and pinned. Blushing slightly from the feeling of sharon’s body pressing into hers the blonde grit her teeth, far from done.

“TWO!!!”

As the ref managed a two count a yell of defiance tore through her lungs as she twisted her body to the side while throwing her shoulder up. Hopefully breaking the pin right after the secobd count was made.

Pinning Artemis under her, Sharon listened to the referee counting for the pin. But after the count of two, Artemis managed to break the pin. Huffing out, she looked at Artemis' face before she rose back up, planning to continue with her attacks.

"Persistent, aren't you?"

Sharon said to Artemis as she would reach out to her hair, pulling her up onto her knees. She would position herself behind her opponent, looking to wrap her arms around her neck, planning to put her into a sleeper hold.

Despite the pain she was in Artemis was able to understand the words Sharon said to her and responded to them with a sharp glare, even from her downed position. “You have no idea..” She ground out with a look of pure determination in her eyes. In spite of her steely words however there wasn’t much Artemis could do as she was forced up to a sitting position whilst Sharon’s arms went into position around her neck. Glaring at this Artemis wasn’t so dazed that she would allow herself to be trapped so easily. Grabbing onto Sharon’s arms with one hand the blonde fire her arm back with sheer fury, attempting to drive her elbow back into the womans side with a brutal elbow strike to the side.

Getting Artemis in a seated position, Sharon positioned herself behind her as she got her arms around her neck and put her into a sleeper hold. Still, Artemis wasn't going to let her do whatever she wanted as she grabbed one of Sharon's arms with one hand while she used the elbow of her other arm to hit Sharon right at her side.

"Ghhh!!"

Gritting her teeth, Sharon was unable to focus, and she was then forced to relinquish the hold, freeing Artemis from the sleeper hold. Still, she wasn't going to let her go without leaving one parting gift. The moment after she uncoiled her arms from her neck, she would smash her forearm right at the back of her opponent's head.

Artemis was grunting softly as she pulled on the arm tightenint around her throat with as much tenacity as she could muster. She knew that if the woman managed to secure her hold than there may very well be no escape and itd be tap or nap for her. So the blonde was determined to not choose between either. Pulling an arm just enough away from her neck to have some breathing room, Artemis then immediately shot her arm back for a shot to the woman’s side making her gasp and release the hold. Smirking Artemi was about to roll away and get some distance to think of a new strategy. The key word there was about. Before she could a sudden and heaving hit collided with the back of her head! ”Ugh!” She groaned out falling face first into the mat stunned from the blow!

Right after releasing Artemis from the sleeper hold, Sharon then hit her with a forearm smash to her head, causing the other woman to fall down, face first, onto the mat. Huffing out as she straightened herself up, Sharon would walk around her opponent, thinking of her next move before she bent down, looking to grab onto her head, pulling her up in preparation for her next move.

After bringing Artemis up, Sharon would get her arm around her head, but this time, Artemis would be facing upwards, and she would be forced to lean backwards as Sharon would trap her in an inverted headlock, in which Artemis would be subjected to a dragon sleeper. Yanking her opponent's head backwards, Sharon would also press her knee against her back, adding more pain in the hold.

The damage Artemis had already taken was surging through her, sending shocks of exertion based pain through ber tired limbs. Being forced to slow down by the sleeper hold as well had caused some of her adrenaline to die down, and now the heaviness in her limbs was draining to say the least. But on top of it all she received a elbow to the back of her head sneding her back to the mat, gasping and in pain.

”Hugh... Hugh...Augh....” She moaned out softly clenching and unclenching her fists as she attempted to push herself up, but it was like doing so with noodle arms. Her biceps only being able to support her weight briefly before giving out with her falling face first in the mat. Then she felt her hair grabbed before she was forced up. Gasping and looking dazedly up at Sharon she didn’t see her.

But instead felt the woman’s arm wrap around her neck pulling her back, not only choking a already breathless Artemis, but bending her spine at an awkward angle. “Ack!!!” She gagged out reaching up to Sharon’s arm and clawing at it, trying desperately to resist. However the situation was made all the worse by the knee burying in her spine. “Aughhhhhhh!!!!!” She screamed out in agony flailing in the hold, trying to keep herself awake in tbe devastating sleeper variation.

Sharon smiled slightly as she listened to Artemis' cries of pain. It was the proof that the dragon sleeper and knee combo was the perfect move for her, and she wanted to see how long she could endure this before she was forced to submit. Though Artemis clawing at her arm was making it difficult for her to focus. So, Sharon decided to drive her knee a little harder against Artemis' spine, adding more to the pain.

"If you wish for me to stop, then you should give up now."

Sharon told Artemis that if she wanted the pain to stop, she ought to submit to her already. She would maintain the dragon sleeper despite the struggling from the other woman, planning to use this hold to get a submission out of her.
