Technical Throwdown. Artemis Grace vs Irene Adams

To say Artemis was pissed was an understatement. She hated being reminded of last failures, especially one as humiliating as her loss to Anenlu. So Irene reminded her of it didn’t do her fellow Canadian any favors whatever. That’s why after the drop kick the blonde would attempt to capitalize on that advantage as soon as she could woth none other than a devastating superkick that would undoubtedly rock the woman’s world. Ideally at least. Rather than the impact of her foot with Irene’s head she instead felt nothing but two forces on either side of her ankle. ‘....shit.’ Artemis thought to herself realizing what had happened as she was now left to hop on and try to keep her balance on a single leg.

It was easy to tell that she was able to get under her opponent's skin as Artemis wore her emotions on her sleeve as all the Canadian knew she had to keep pushing her opponent's buttons to make her do as she wished. As she managed to not only block the other wrestler's kick , and even grasp onto Artemis's ankle as she smirked as the blond hopped around on one foot.

With an smirk on her face the brunette would lash out with an kick to her opponent's shin as she yelled ''timber''as she hoped to knock Artemis off her feet.

Artemis cursed in frustration as she hopped around on one foot, her plan of attack being frozen in place with her leg as Irene managed to catch it. Unfortunately before she could respond with a retaliatory kick she instead found her standing leg kicked by thr woman making her hiss in pain. ”Agh!” Artemis hissed in pain as the kick, along with the lack of a grip on her leg caused Artemis to fall flat on her back, holding her kicked leg with a wince of pain.

Irena was having the time of her life as she was messing with her opponent , and it was obviously working from the look of frustration on Artemis's face. As the brunette just knocked the blond off her feet as she kicked her right in the chin which would result in Artemis falling onto her back as the Canadian attempted to force the other wrestler onto her belly as she went for an one legged Boston Crab.

Artemis grunted as she collapsed on her back, pain now shooting through her leg as a response to the kick to her chin. The brunette had wormed her way inside Artemis’s head and she despised it. She wanted to make the bitch suffer for her part in frustrating and throwing the blonde off her game. Being down on the mat with her leg being grasped, it was a no brainer what the bespectacled woman woukr try to do. Glaring Artemis planted her hands on either side of her on the mat to try and prevent herself from being turned over fully for the boston crab. If successful than Artemis would attempt to use her free leg to try and kick back smash her foot into her opponet’s stomach to hopefully push her off and force a release.

The brunette was in control , and from the look in her opponent's eyes it was clear that Artemis knew it too. Even if she likely never wanted to admit it as the Canadian wrestler would manage to turn the blond over onto her stomach , and trap her in an single leg Boston Crab as she thought that would give her some time while at the same time hurt her opponent. However she would soon realize she should have grabbed onto her opponent's other leg as she got hit in the stomach an few times before she let go of the leg she was holding onto as this was not worth the pain she was forced to endure as the fans cheered Artemis on.

Artemis grunted and winced in pain lightly as the boston crab hold was put into place. But it didn’t stop her from fighting. Shooting her leg back Artemis kept kicking until finally Irene heeded her instincts and releaded the hold for her own good. Sighing in relief Artemis rolled away from Irene and immediately got into a kneeling position with a glare etched onto her face. Watching the bespectacled woman carefully she mapped out what she would do next. But she knew sne would wait until Irene acted first, that way she could counter whatever the other heavyweight would do.

Irene had bin forced to release Artemis's legs after she got kicked in the stomach as she regretted not holding onto both of her opponent's feet. As her decision to go for an single leg Boston Crab ended up costing her when Artemis got in an lucky shot as the Canadian wrestler would be bend over holding onto her stomach while the blond was given the chance to get up as Irene hoped to be able to stand upright before her opponent could strike.

Artemis narrowed her eyes as she got up, waiting patiently for her opponet to rise enough. The woman had been doubled over by her kick and as a result was vulnerable. But she needed the perfect oppurtunity, for everything to line up. ‘Wait for it.. wait for it...’ Artemis thought to herself before Irene turned around, nearly good. ‘There!’ Artemis thought to herselg as she broke out into a run, dashing at the woman while lowering herself, leveling her shoulder with her opponet’s stomach as Artemis tried to hit the woman with a spear.

Irene was rising back to her feet when she saw the blond running at her as to her surprise , Artemis had recovered before she had as she cried out when she felt the other wrestler's shoulder drive itself into her stomach.The force behind the blow send them both falling backwards as she suspected she flew at least an good feet away from where she was standing as the result of the impact as the brunette just groaned as she landed on the mat with the huntress on top of her.
