Uta Toyama (D) vs. Hikaru Sawazaki

Hikaru moaned in agony as she shook her head. Uta was quick to pile on with the pin and Hikaru frantically kicked her limbs about struggling to escape!

"TWO!"

Right at the two count Hikaru thrust her shoulder up and rolled to the side to break the pin and keep herself alive.

[Arjuna]

Uta went for the pin, though Hikaru managed to kick out at two. Clicking her tongue, the newcomer picked herself up and grabbed onto Hikaru's head, looking to get her opponent back up onto her feet.

"So that's not enough, huh? Alright, let's see how much can you take from me."

Leading Hikaru back onto her feet, Uta would make sure to keep her opponent steady in front of her before she delivered a knee strike right into her opponent's gut, looking to leave her breathless and weakened.

Hikaru was in pain while she was yanked up to her feet and when Uta swung her knee Hikaru knew she had to get some momentum going. She grabbed the leg of Uta in her arms spinning her torso to whip Uta to the canvas with a dragon screw to counter the knee strike.

[Arjuna]

Uta went to deliver a knee strike to Hikaru's belly, but Hikaru managed to catch her leg before she yanked at it, whipping her leg and bringing Uta down onto the mat with a dragon screw.

"UWAGH!!!"

Uta cried out when her leg was twisted like that. She fell down onto the mat, grimacing in pain. She tried to deter Hikaru from continuing with her momentum, kicking her legs at her so that she could tend on her affected leg after that.

Hikaru wanted to move in but the kicking of Uta kept her at bay. Instead she tried to circle around to the other side of her opponent to reach out and grab hold of an arm. Hikaru was trying to wrap her legs around the arm she held out as well as the head of Uta to try to lock in a triangle hold! Hikaru needed to sap her of some of her energy before trying anything so a hold that was painful and cut off some of her air supply would be a smart move. Hikaru just hoped she could fully lock it in to really drive the point home and truly halt the opening momentum of Uta.

[Arjuna]

Kicking her legs at the direction of Hikaru, Uta would try to roll herself over so that she could tend on her leg that was whipped earlier. But as she tried to recover, her opponent decided to take advantage of this by attempting to lock her into a triangle hold.

"GKKHH!!!"

Wincing as she began to feel Hikaru's legs locking into the hold, Uta would try to push herself up, hoping that she could escape before her opponent could lock her real tight in the hold. Of course, she wouldn't be able to do anything else in the meantime.

So close..... Hikaru almost had Uta right where she wanted her but the speedy rookie managed to give her the slip. Hikaru couldn't let her get away though she had to pounce to keep her on the defensive.

Hilary tried to send a fast jab to the cheek of Uta to stun her before leaping forward with her arm extended to hit her with a leaping clothesline after!

Despite her managed to escape the hold, Uta wasn't out of danger yet. She tried to push herself up and get herself back up onto her feet, but Hikaru managed to catch up to her and deliver a jab to her cheek, causing the rookie to stagger on her feet.

"UUFHH!!"

The attack stunned Uta a bit, allowing Hikaru to follow it up with a leaping clothesline. "URGHH!!" Uta was taken down by the clothesline, and after hitting the mat with her back, she gasped as she brought her hands onto the spot that was struck by Hikaru's arm.

Hikaru pumped a fist in the air and jumped up, extending her elbow as she tried to angle an elbow drop for a hard landing on the chest of Uta! Hikaru was trying to create some momentum and ride that wave as long as she could. Her opponent was full of vigor so Hikaru had to try to match that energy herself. She was doing her best to leave this match with a win and Uta was going to find out that Hikaru wasn't some jobber sent to make her look good in her debut!

[Arjuna]

Knocked down by Hikaru's clothesline, Uta was in trouble. Then, Hikaru decided to follow it up with an elbow drop aimed to Uta's chest. Hikaru managed to land the hit, and Uta gasped out in pain as her opponent's elbow was driven into her chest.

"GAKHHH!!"

She wheezed on the mat, left vulnerable and open to more attacks from her opponent. For the time being, Uta was in trouble, and Hikaru would be wise to take advantage of this.
