Fight to the Bottom (LAWless title hunt open thread)

When Viper began to slowly lope her way toward Amber, the slow pace she took belied the agility she was known to display in the ring. But she wasn't looking to chase Amber down so much as she was trying to get in her head and lull her into a false sense of security. As Viper ambled toward her foe, her gait was intended to leave the blonde thinking that she might have a chance to get away, and hopefully it would get her to let her guard down - that, or she would be frozen in place by the sense of oncoming doom; either outcome worked for Viper's intents. Once she was sure that Amber was ready, however, Viper would move in for the kill, striking as hard and as fast as the reptile from which she took her name!

It was only due to split-second timing that Amber had been able to block taking the baseball bat straight-on, but even that wouldn't do her many favors, as her arm throbbed from the site of the impact. She was open now, and Viper would seize on that opportunity. Once again, the green-haired girl dashed in closer, looking to throw her arms around Amber to lift her off her feet, and then going to slam her straight through the nearest table!

Amber’s situation was bleak to say the least with one hand aching like crazy and still having the bat wielding psycho hunting her down. The pain in her arm and with little time to check how well she could move the arm before Viper was attacking her again grabbing around her slim waist to lift up onto a table. Amber screamed and would try to suck Vipers head in a headlock trying to force her head forward or at least make it so if she tried to drop her she risked bringing her head into the collision as well. If Viper noticed or cared it made no difference when she crashed into the table off to the side with the damn thing nearly giving way but still giving Amber a whip across her back when she was dropped.

Amber may have fought back, but Viper was undeterred. She had her mind set on a single goal, and that was putting this upstart in her place and walking away with the LAWLESS Championship, no matter what she needed to do to get there. Amber was able to push Viper's head over so that she would take the brunt of the impact herself, but this didn't slow the green-haired deathmatch veteran down one bit. Viper had no regard for anyone's safety, not even her own, and she dropped back all the same, slamming Amber straight through the table!

The table shook from the impact, both from Amber's back landing across its surface and Viper's own head striking the side with a thud. Viper dropped onto her side, letting out a low groan under her breath as she lay motionless for a moment. However, as the pain in her skull died down, she would soon pick herself back up, turning around toward Amber. If the blonde wasn't back up, Viper would raise her foot, going to stomp directly into her stomach!

An jolt of pain hit her everywhere across her back as the table proved unforgiving to the flesh. Viper hadn’t slowed at all when she brought them down and for a moment she felt her legs go numb but when she slowly started to come off the table she felt those senses returning. Course that left the matter of what to do about Viper. Her hurt arm could still move and with that she got off the floor and on her knees but lifting it too far in any direction, that left her in a bad state for the moment, with time she’d recover but something told her this chick wasn’t about to give her time. Her hand reached for her pocket where she was keeping something just for a moment like this, but took a stomp before she could pull it out that sent her back down all the way, mashing against the floor chest first.

Viper might have struck the table on the way down, but that didn't mean Amber could save herself in the process. She was still thrown into the table at full force, the impact rocking her body - and even when Viper went onto her side from where her head had hit the table, she wouldn't let herself be down for long. Her cold expression not changing even for a moment, Viper pushed herself back up, rolling onto her knees and then climbing to her feet, before she turned around to where Amber was still recovering from her landing, now laid out on the floor. But it wasn't a recovery Viper was going to let last long.

Even as Amber was starting to get up, Viper shoved her back down with a stomp to her stomach. She crossed her arms, looming over the blonde with a disapproving glare. "Nice trick you did back there," she muttered flatly. "Was it supposed to hurt?" Viper leaned in closer, resting her chin in her hand as she propped her elbow up on her knee, and in the process brought even more of her weight down against Amber's midsection. She saw that Amber had been planning something, but she hardly cared - it wouldn't save her now.

Satisfied with her handiwork, Viper took her foot off Amber to bend down again. This time, she would hoist her up on her shoulder, turning to the nearest trash can. If Amber couldn't get herself free in time, she was heading for an unpleasant fate indeed!

Amber couldn’t answer anything. With the way her boot was grinding into her abs. Amber was left trying to pull her last resort out even as her body felt the pressure of Vilers boots and death glare. She let out a weak cough trying to get herself ready for what came next but was still feeling a bit drained when Viper finally pulled her off the floor, the hurting blonde feeling her body hating every motion but Viler didn’t care. When she was pulled up and over she finally unveiled her weapon...a can of mace. A weapon any girl should have, not the bravest move for a wrestler but this would do the trick. Looking away and turning the weapon towards Vilers face with her good arm she pressed the button. “Get off me you punk!” She sprayed for about a second, and once she stopped she made sure to keep her eyes closed for a few more seconds instead just struggling and trying to get out of Vipers grip. If she broke free she would look over at her and try to kick at Viper.

So far, Amber had been more of an annoyance than anything else. She was persistent, at least; Viper had to give her the credit for that. But when she held the championship that the green-haired girl was after, it didn't matter that she was persistent - only that Viper needed to get rid of her once and for all! If not even being put through a table was going to put Amber down, Viper needed to think bigger. It was when her eyes settled on a trash can that Viper got an idea. She'd stuffed her opponents into the likes of them many times before in her days of deathmatch wrestling, and she'd used the cans as weapons themselves even more. At the very least, it was sure to slow Amber down; hopefully, it'd hurt too!

But just as Viper was carrying Amber over to the can, that was when the blonde struck - finding a can of mace and spraying it into Viper's eyes! The angle she aimed at wasn't the best, but it did its job. Suddenly Viper stopped in her tracks. Everything hurt, and her eyes twitched and watered. She had no choice but to drop Amber, stumbling back and clutching at her face as she bent over with a groan. It could have hurt a lot more, had Amber gotten a clearer shot, and Viper still remained on her feet, but Amber had bought herself time that could prove all the more valuable in a situation like this!

That had to put a stop to things. Sure Viper was still standing but nothing was going to make that stuff hurt any less, on your feet or not. Amber stumbled behind her and watched her standing there, she had to act now. Quickly she would try and throw a kick to her legs to try and trip her up before she would try and grab her head and smash it into the table again. Anything to keep Viper down, long enough to maybe escape.

Everything hurt. Viper could hardly see through the tears filling her eyes, let alone the pain that wracked her body. She panted and shuddered, trying to clear the mace away from her eyes enough to fight back. She had to, she told herself - time was of the essence here, and she needed to make off with the belt as soon as she could before someone else found it. But that was hard when she was currently enveloped in a world of pain!

Soon enough, Viper would be greeted with even more trouble, as Amber kicked her in the legs, causing her to double over forward. She clutched her face, rubbing at her eyes, but to no avail. Unable to stop her motion or defend herself, Viper fell right into the path of Amber's waiting embrace as she caught her by the head...and then drove it into the table!

Already shaken by her prior landing, this time Viper had no defense against her skull being slammed against the tabletop. A clunk rang out as she reeled backward before falling off her feet and going sprawling to the ground. She let out a low groan, her eyes rolling back in her head. This time, it seemed, she was going to stay down.

Amber wanted to jump for joy when Viper collapsed and probably would have it her body allowed it. Seeing as how she was now dealing with having to fight her way out in her current state she didn’t want to wait around for Viper to get up again and come after her and she probably would in with time. So instead Amber gingerly leaned down and grabbed the title and started to go towards the elevator again. Mashing the button again and waiting for the doors to open so she could slide in and press down hoping for the best as the doors closed. She laid in the elevator holding her belt to her chest, which suddenly felt like it looked different at complete random. She stayed there trying to recover as the elevator slowly went down until it stopped. With a sigh Amber grabbed her title and slowly walked out. Not checking which floor she was on anymore but not wanting to stick around.
