Megumi Mutoh vs. Katori Kimura - Reunion of Angels

With her trapping Katori in the crossface, Megumi would try her best to wrench at her opponent's head, but her fellow Angel seemed determined to escape this as she made use of her legs and her free hand to move towards the ropes. Megumi gritted her teeth, trying her best to apply as much pressure as possible into the hold, but she knew that she couldn't keep Katori for long.

So, she would maintain the hold even as Katori went closer and closer to the ropes. Eventually, her opponent managed to reach the ropes, and Megumi had no other choice but to release her from the hold, freeing her. Rolling herself off of her opponent, Megumi would get herself back up onto her feet, huffing out as she stepped backwards, seemingly giving Katori a space to recover.

At first, she thought about immediately surging forth and attacking Katori while she was pulling herself up, but the Combat Genius decided against it, thinking that she might as well let Katori recover and return on her feet. She didn't feel this excited since a while, and she wanted to see how far her opponent could go against her. As she waited, Megumi hopped on the balls of her feet.
