Meiyun couldn't believe it. When she had heard earlier in the week that she would be scheduled to have her first match on LAW TV, in front of an audience of thousands, her heart rate had shot through the roof with excitement, and even now, when she was prepared to go on, she didn't know if it had really calmed down at all. In the leadup to this match, she'd told everyone - her fellow Young Lionesses, her family, random people eating at her family's restaurant, some of whom didn't follow wrestling and had no idea what she was talking about...it didn't matter! This was her big night, and she wanted as many eyes on her as possible for what was going to be the biggest moment in her admittedly short career to date!

She'd been training for it too, of course. She'd gone into all her exercises with even more intensity than usual, and even when she was back from the gym she would find ways to get new sets in. One night she had stayed up all night doing push-ups, which in the end had just left her exhausted and made her trainers yell at her for falling behind in the actually scheduled routines the next day. Regardless, Meiyun had held herself to this! She needed to be the best she could - and now, as she stood at the Gorilla position, she looked up toward the sky with a determined look on her face, ready to face whatever she needed!

"Coming first to the ring, from Tokyo, Japan, at 5'6 and 116 pounds...MEIYUN LAI!"

Just hearing her name called over the speakers made Meiyun tremble with glee. She almost got lost in her excitement, up until a backstage attendant reminded her she needed to go on stage. "Right, sorry sorry!!" she yelped, but she was quick to make a run for the curtains!

As she came down the ramp, Meiyun waved to the fans on either side of the aisle, going for high-fives with a few. Some obliged, though many were confused by the gesture given that she was a completely unknown rookie in the ring with an audience for the first time. Meiyun was especially careful to look around for anyone she had invited. She knew that her parents were too busy with work to come out, but her sister had agreed to be there for her...though what Meiyun hadn't realized was that she couldn't afford ringside seats and was watching from where the debuting Young Lioness couldn't see her. She tried to look around, only for a ring girl to finally get fed up and push her into the ring, under the bottom ropes.

Meiyun shook that out of her thoughts. She wouldn't let anything keep her down for long - she had to go out there and make her mark! Jumping back to her feet, she hopped back and forth in place a few times, shaking herself out and raising her fists as she waited for her opponent to arrive.

Though, she hadn't been late to a match before, it was no surprise to Power that she may be late to her next bout. She'd been kept busy all day with her job and a certain case that had been keeping her up for a few nights, so she was surely itching for a fight.

Nevertheless, a few minutes passed while the stunning young lady raced towards her room to change into her temporary ring attire and run straight for the arena. However, she stopped near the ramp to do her signature pose; not even giving her opponent a single glance. Moreover, she seemed so distracted to the point where she didn't even notice that her work pants were still on.

“Arriving suprisingly late is the Pink Haired Beauty.. Power!”

Hearing her named being called, she quickly got into the ring to roll up her sleeves and look at her opponent. She seemed like a rookie, so she wasn't too worried. Furthermore, she looked way too cute to be fighting. In a sense, she somewhat reminded Power of Izzy, which made her stop for a moment to focus on the girl in front of her.

“She may have the same atmosphere, but is she really the same?” Power thought to herself. “Well, I guess we'll see..”

Casual Attire

“Sorry about being late! - but let's have a good match” the overconfident brawler shouted kindly towards Meiyun as she smiled to signify that she wasn't like one of those cold hearted wrestlers.

As it turned out, the numerous people who had to hurry Meiyun into the ring probably hadn't needed to worry. A few minutes passed with the Young Lioness standing alone in the ring, and some confused murmurs went out among the crowds. Even Meiyun herself didn't know what to think. Was she being set up? Did something go wrong backstage? Her eyes went wide, and she sucked in a breath as a million frightful possibilities ran through her head. Had she worked herself up for her big debut, inviting everyone she could, only for them to watch her first-ever match get cancelled?

Fortunately, Meiyun's concerns were soon eased as Power's entrance was announced. She let out a sigh of relief - but she wouldn't let her guard down either. A grin crossed her face, and she pumped a fist in the air as she hopped up before clapping her hands. "Yeah!! This is happening!" she cheered to no one in particular, before she faced Power with a grin.

"Don't worry about it!" she called back to her, as she held her hand out for a high-five. "All that matters is we get to go head-to-head in the end, right? And no matter what, I'm gonna do my best!"

After a few words were exchanged, the referee beckoned the two women back to their corners to check them over for foreign objects. In the process, Meiyun had a chance to look over Power. Her fashion sense was certainly an interesting choice, and she looked like she meant business - but no matter what, Meiyun wasn't going to let herself get intimidated on her big night!

“They certainly acted similar as well” Power told herself; glaring at her opponent.

She heard that her opponent tonight was a rookie, so she must not be too experienced in the ring either. However, she wasn't going to underestimate the young girl and hold back her attacks. She knew that it was a beginners mistake to underestimate another opponent, though she has her moments where shes gotten overconfident, especially with Izzy at first.

The pink haired beauty couldn't understand why her mind kept going back to Izzy, but she felt like she should try to contact her later as they haven't spoken a word to each other after their match. Nevertheless, she had an opponent in front of her, and by the looks of it she seemed quite nice. She couldn't help but give the girl a high five back, particularly because of her kind nature.

Their hands met each other with the sound of a clap, and Meiyun nodded to Power with a smile on her face. Even as she returned to her corner, she kept her attention on her opponent with a smile on her face. Meiyun could recognize Power as a gracious opponent worthy of her respect. But that didn't mean she was going easy on her, of course. In fact, she would only be even more motivated to give it her all. Power deserved her best efforts!

*DING DING DING*

As the bell sounded, Meiyun was quick to drop into a stance, pounding her fist against her open palm. "ALL RIGHT! Leeeeet's go!" she cheered, hyping herself up for the match. She was ready to strike fast, not giving Power a moment to react - right off the bat, Meiyun charged straight at her opponent, and as she got in range she would swing her fist up to try and hit her in the chin with an uppercut, throwing the momentum of her sprint behind it!
