A warriors fall (hospital thread for Aoi Open to all that wants to join)
It was the next day after her defeat at the hands of Rose gold, Aoi was in bed staring up at the ceiling. she had ask the staff to ban Rebecca form seeing her. not cause she hated her no it was cause She couldn't face her. Aoi was feeling a mix of Emotions form anger to self pitty. She didn't know what to do she would just lay there as she knew her injury was very severe. she was lucky her doctor said any more pressure to her leg or if it didn't give out when it did she would be needing a cane to walk form now on.
"tch lucky.... what do you mean I'd rather have killed then lose to Rose...." she said under her breath. she felt dead inside as she felt she could hear Rebecca begging the staff to let her see Aoi but Aoi didn't want that she couldn't face her friend any more she couldn't even be Rebeccas friend any more she failed her she failed to protect her like she promised years ago when they became friends. Tear welled up as she slammed her first on the bed fighting off those tears "fucking hell I suck!!" she cried and let out a breath.

Re: A warriors fall (hospital thread for Aoi Open to all that wants to join)
The finish to the main event had left many in the crowd shocked. While Rose Gold had her followers, just as many were hoping for Aoi to defend her title against all threats, to prove that she was every bit the warrior she postured herself as and that she wouldn't be humbled, even against a foe of such magnitude. They were hoping she would prove that all would be well, that Rose's cruel ways couldn't prosper, and that justice would prevail in the end.
But it didn't. Not only had Rose won...her victory had been absolute. Aoi had been left helpless and broken, barely able to stand by the end of the match. With the brutality of her treatment, many fans could only speculate in hushed whispers if she'd ever be able to compete - or, for that matter, walk - again. Fans of LAW knew that Rose Gold was a ruthless wrestler who stopped at nothing to beat down those beneath her, but now the full scope of just how wicked she could be was known to all.
And there had been no one struck more deeply by it than Yuki Kazikura.
She'd been there the whole time. Sitting in the front row, she had gotten a few shoutouts from the commentary team catching her in the crowd, but no one had thought much of it - that was, up until the Lightweight Championship match.
Yuki had been there to cheer Aoi on, as a title hopeful herself who had faced Aoi for the belt before. Even though she had lost, she'd still won the former champion's respect in the process, proving her willpower and determination in striving for success.
Yuki, of course, also had a long history with Rose Gold, one that cut into her on an even more deep and personal level. She had befriended a girl named Kelsea Rose, the same Kelsea Rose that Rose Gold had once been. And she didn't know it up until the two faced at We Are LAW 2020 - in which, shocked into submission by her betrayal, Yuki had fallen victim to Rose's cruel treatment, the blonde dominating her physically and emotionally and leaving her a sobbing wreck.
That match had been the beginning of it all. In defeating Yuki, Rose wanted to prove that it was she who truly deserved a shot at the championship. Now she had finally gotten it - and won.
Yuki had her faith in Aoi to put Rose in her place, and to do what she couldn't have done herself. She was counting on Aoi to stop Rose in her tracks. But as time went on, and Aoi suffered in Rose's hold, it became more and more apparent that the warrior had no hopes of emerging from this match with either her title or her body intact - and Yuki's hope slowly melted away. And when she was left with a front row seat to Aoi hanging Rose from the corner post with a truly brutal figure four leglock, the world around her went still. She could only watch, too afraid to even blink, as time seemed to slow down around her, leaving her painfully aware of every second of agony that passed for Aoi. When Rose won the title, Yuki had seen that, too. She didn't want to believe it. It should have all been a dream. But it was real. Every moment of it was truly, painfully real.
As soon as the show had finished, Yuki was quick to run for the door. She fought her way through the crowd, pushing her way to the front in a frenzy, and her legs had carried her all the way to the hospital where Aoi was staying. By the time she arrived, she was breathless and trembling. But as soon as the doctors had left the room, Yuki was quick to burst inside.
"AOI! Oh my god, Aoi..." She ran to her friend's side, her eyes welling up with worry as she kneeled down by her bed. "P-Please...please, tell me you'll be okay..."

"I thought i said i didn't- oh.... yuki? we fought befor....." Aoi said as she thought Rebecca got through the staff when she heard someone worried for her. she would look at yuki who seemed to be asking if she was okay. She nodded. "y-yes i am....doctor told me I...i was lucky my leg gave out when it did..." Aoi said she tried not to cry as she looked at yuki putting on a brave face. "If it didn't i might be using a cane to walk for the rest of my life...that was how bad my leg got..." Aoi admit as she chuckled awkwardly. she would look down tho. "gomen.....I'm sorry I know i let alot of my fans down....but the better..." that word seemed to have been venom to Aoi. " the better...wrestler won... I gave it my all and i couldn't beat her.... " Aoi stated
she lay back as she sighed and few tears came down her cheek before she cleaned her face. "one year tho....i cant ....i cant wrestle for a whole year." Aoi said.

Thereisa is yelling at the nurses who are trying to get the enraged woman to calm down, after fainting backstage due to the loss of blood the EMT's were called and she was taken to the hospital to rest. After her brutal war with the Amazon most of the crowd who at first booed her started to clap and cheer, before she silenced that with a low blow to Alaina not wanting her to celebrate her victory over her before dragging herself backstage to her locker room.
Deciding that she has had enough of the nurses and doctors trying to tell her what to do, She gets up and begins to walk down the halls of the hospital more annoyed at herself... and her daughter since she hasn't answered her calls for some spare clothes so she is still in her wrestling gear much to the shock of the staff.
Peeking in one of the hospital rooms and sees a girl laying in the bed with another one inside speaking with her, Seeing Aoi there takes her back to when she was first starting out and getting hurt, what she doesn't like is Aoi moping and after hearing her say she can't wrestle for a whole year. Opening the door and walks right inside looking at the fallen former champion herself wiping tears before putting on a brave face "The better wrestler didn't win, you slacked off got overconfident and knowingly tried to used your finisher on your bad leg" She say's her arms crossed looking at the two women.
"You had victory in your hands and blew it, they say your off for one whole year... Good go train and come back and reclaim your spot."

Re: A warriors fall (hospital thread for Aoi Open to all that wants to join)
Kneeling by Aoi's side, Yuki's breaths began to come in hard and fast. Her shoulders deflated a little when she heard Aoi say she was okay, and that she'd narrowly avoided being crippled, but it wasn't much of a consolation. Yuki couldn't shake the feeling that something here was wrong. She'd seen it from the moment Aoi entered the ring - there was something about her that wasn't quite right. She bit her lip, wondering nervously what might be next for the former champion.
What did make Yuki shudder was hearing Aoi describe Rose as the better wrestler. Even a year later, her match against Rose stood out as the lowest point of her career, the weakest and most vulnerable she had ever been. She'd been too afraid to even approach Rose after the fact, but she was counting on Aoi to settle the score for her. As a shiver went through her body, Yuki remembered how brutally she'd seen Rose assault the blue-haired girl, and how much it stung to see. Thinking back on it now, her fear for Rose briefly dissipated, and she was left only with one emotion - rage. More than anything else, she wanted Rose to suffer for what she'd done. She wouldn't stand for Rose being recognized as the better wrestler.
As she took in a breath, Yuki brought herself back down to the present, where she shook her head as she leaned in closer to Aoi. "No...no, don't say that, Aoi...Aoi-chan," she added, tears welling in her eyes as she did. "I've seen what you can do firsthand...you're better than her, you could have beaten her, you should have beaten her-! You..."
She couldn't hold it back any more - and as Aoi added she wouldn't be cleared for a whole year, it was too much for Yuki to bear. As calm and collected as she was, Yuki had her limits. She buried her face in her hands, sobbing. The tears trickling from between her fingers fell onto the side of Aoi's bed. "I...had faith in you...I have faith in you! You're going to get better, you need to-!" She said the words more to convince herself than anything else, but even still, they came out shaky and between gasps. She didn't even notice as Widow entered the room, lost in her own thoughts.

Aoi would let out a breath as she was going to continue to speak before seeing a rather large woman enter her room and spoke. her words annoyed her to a point not cause she didn't like them but she didn't believe them. " YOU THINK THAT DON'T YOU?!" Aoi screamed rather loudly. "I never stopped training i knew for a fact that if i got a big head it would be my down fall but i never told me myself I will never lose i told my self there will be someone better someone that will beat me i forced my self to understand i will lose my title some point. " Aoi started and took a breath and looked down. "sorry i know you want to encourage met miss. " Aoi stated and looked at yuki and felt worse as the girl said she had faith her. "Yeah so did Rebecca... i let her you...everyone down." She lay back and sighed. "I let my anger get the better of me.....i deserved the lost no matter how i look at it." Aoi said as she lay there biting her lip abit. "you say i should have beaten her but i didn't that is proof enough that rose was a better wrestler yuki-san."

Re: A warriors fall (hospital thread for Aoi Open to all that wants to join)
Yuki's focus had been so intensely honed in on Aoi that everything else was irrelevant. She was shaken by the thought that her friend had been seriously hurt, and she tuned out the world around her as simply not important in comparison. She didn't realize that another woman had entered the room until this fact was addressed by Aoi herself - as the former champion let out an angry roar, causing Yuki to gasp as she hopped backward and covered her mouth. A blush ran to her face, as she wiped some tears out of her eyes. She didn't know when Widow had entered, or how much she had seen, but Yuki didn't want anyone to see her crying. In this moment she was more vulnerable than she liked to be - and especially after her own match against Rose Gold, Yuki never wanted other people to see her so vulnerable again.
Still, after a pause, Yuki looked back down at Aoi where she lay in the bed, and she sucked in a breath. Her body was tense as she scooted closer, reaching her hand over to lay it on Aoi's shoulder. "That...that's not true," Yuki said. "It's Rose who deserves to lose more than anything! She could only defeat you because she injured you on purpose, I know that. She could only defeat me because she caught me by surprise," Yuki continued, wincing just from having to acknowledge her defeat. "She's got all it takes to be a great wrestler, but...that's not what she uses. She fights dirty. That's not what wrestling is all about. In a fair fight, I know you could have beaten her...but she was too afraid of you to allow a fair fight to happen..." Her eyes welled up with tears once again as she spoke, and her hand trembled where she lay it against Aoi's shoulder.

Re: A warriors fall (hospital thread for Aoi Open to all that wants to join)
Hearing the former champion yell at her with no fear in her eyes before losing that fire that she had a few minutes ago before hearing how she let some girl down and all that nonsense. Widow is a woman of action if someone beats you by cheating then you go after them and beat them using the same method, but seeing Aoi like this even she knows that until the girl regains her fire and drive she gonna be like this. "disgraceful from a former champion.. If your gonna act like this then maybe your friend is better off without you. Since you already proved right now that since you said that."
Shaking her head while making her way back to the door turning to give one last look at the former champion and her whiny friend, See you both around cause being in here is a waste of time. Come see me when you get off your broken beaten ass and challenge me Aoi... until then you are a broken woman.." walking out the room and slamming the door shut shaking her head at those two before being cleared to leave the hospital.

Aoi would look at Yuki as she spoke hearing her but bit her lip. the fire grew again when the bigger woman made her proclaimtion of Her friend would be better off but it would get distinguished fast. "your right...I let her down.... i dont deserve to be her friend I...i should have lost the ability to wrestle." Aoi stated tearing up as she clinched her fist till her own palms were bleeding.
"your right though yuki as much as i hate to admit it Rose Gold as the makings of a great wrestler yet she doesn't use those makings to propel her to glory she cheats and use any advantage she can get. what good am i tho... i fought with all i got and i lost she probably didn't even try to beat me she got lucky cause my knee took to much of a beating." Aoi said as she was angry and sad as tears ran down her cheeks and vains poping out in her hands and head.

Re: A warriors fall (hospital thread for Aoi Open to all that wants to join)
Yuki was tense. The emotions had built up inside her, and it felt as though the slightest push could send her over the edge - and that push came, as Widow dismissed Aoi and stepped away, blaming her for her own injury. At that, the dark-haired girl stopped. Her body was rigid, and she bit down on her lip, her fingers curling into a fist. One final tear dropped from Yuki's eye, but after that, they stopped. She wasn't sad any more - she was angry. Angry that anyone could have the nerve to talk to anyone like that, let alone the former champion - let alone her friend.
"HEY-!" Yuki shouted, turning around on her heel to call after Widow. "Don't you DARE say that about her! Aoi's a better wrestler than you could ever DREAM of being, and-" But it was no use. The door slammed in her face, and her words reached no one. With a sigh, she hung her head and looked down at her feet, slowly turning back around toward Aoi.
"No, Aoi...please," Yuki said, shaking her head. "The fact she got lucky isn't your fault! The fact she cheated isn't your fault! It doesn't change the fact you're still a great wrestler...you have what it takes to be a champion! That's something special! In a perfect world you'd still be a champion!" Tentatively, she extended her hand, moving to rest it gently on Aoi's shoulder. "You've been granted a chance to come back to the ring. Even if it'll take time, you'll get better! The doctors said so! You can't let go of that! Things like this happen for a reason, and you need to have faith!"
