The Ballad of the Magician & Phantom: Anastasia Bockworth vs. Ayumi Sato

"M-my caliber!? You couldn't even dream of being close to my caliber!" Ayumi spat out not one to take an insult sitting down, oh it was on now!

Ayumi moved to lock in the collar-and-elbow tie up as she aimed to meet brute force with brute force as she pushed hard as she could as it seemed both women were determined to display their strength over the other.

Anastasia was unperturbed by Ayumi's ranting, determined to end any notion of this match being an even contest. It was time to exert her dominance and put this upstart magician in her place beneath the Phantomess!

Ayumi met her in the grapple and the two women jostled for position, pushing for all they were worth in a test of strength. However, after a few seconds of straining Anastasia discovered to her horror that Ayumi was starting to get the best of the exchange!

"N-no..." she hissed through gritted teeth as she was forced back a step, fighting desperately to maintain her ground against her foe!

"Y-y-yes!" Ayumi spat back, as she pushed harder on the lock up and tried to establish her will on the heroine, which at first seemed to be successful as she began to gain subtle ground.

Naturally this fed her ego, making her smirk, but that rise in ego caused her focus to shift for a moment and the "heroine" proved to have some muscle herself as Ayumi found her advance stalled and was now herself forced back a step struggling.

"D-d-damn it stop.." Ayumi cursed as she tried to find her feet to stop being pushed back.

Anastasia managed to stabilise herself in the grapple as the two women strained for dominance, trying to out-do one and other with their strength. However, though she could hold her own the purple suited wrestler found she was making no real headway.

Gritting her teeth, she tried to change tactic and suddenly stopped pushing, hoping to bring Ayumi stumbling forward as the resistance disappeared. If she succeeded in this she would bring a knee up hard into her opponent's stomach!

"Take THAT!"

Ayumi in turn simply wanted to overpower this "Phantom" as she stubbornly committed to this exchange of strength even if it was clear that nobody was going anywhere. Which of course left her open when Anastasia decided to shift tactics first as she felt being pulled closer to her.

"AGH!"

Ayumi coughed out as she felt a knee to her gut which provided a stunning blow as she gasped out and clutched her stomach, leaving her open for a follow up move if Anastasia desired to take action.

"HAH!" Anastasia exclaimed triumphantly as she crashed a knee into Ayumi's stomach, doubling over the bumbling magician and leaving the other woman open to her follow up attack.

She grabbed Ayumi's shoulders, shoving the woman into a standing position, but only to put her in place for the next attack of the Phantomess! With Ayumi standing straight, the purple clad battler would deliver a thunderous chop right across her opponent's chest, attempting to send her tumbling backward into the corner.

Naturally Ayumi was still stinging from the previous blow which granted Anastasia the free opening needed as she felt a knife-edge chop across her chest which caused the magician's eyes to widen in pain.

"AGH!" Ayumi moans out clutching her chest as she tried to move along the ropes to gain space on Anastasia while she tried to shake the sting.

With her chop connecting painfully with the Magician's chest, Anastasia felt a rush of elation as she took control of the encounter after a rocky start. She drop Ayumi back with the blow and the other wrestler tried to move herself along the ropes to escape her.

"Oh no you don't!" The purple-clad beauty quipped as she lunged forward, attempting to slam a forearm into Ayumi's chest while she was against the ropes, looking to wind the magician with the blow.

Ayumi groaned a bit as she tried to get some distance, but it seemed this self-proclaimed hero had been nothing else if persistent as Ayumi would soon feel a clubbing blow right onto her chest.

"AGH! B-bitch!" Ayumi cursed out, though she could do little more than this as she tried to recover from the blow and catch her breath all at once.

With Ayumi apparently still reeling from another confident strike, the defender of the ring took a moment to straighten out her striped briefs and raise her hands to try and gain a cheer from the crowds. The response was a little half-hearted and Anastasia scowled. Clearly she needed to enact a more dominant chain of events to get the audience on her side.

Stepping forward to Ayumi once more she tried to grab the Magician's arm, trying to wrench it around behind her back in a painful hammerlock.

"You see, magician," she quipped, trying to parade Ayumi to the centre of the ring. "You're no match for me. Why don't you accept that this fall is mine?"
