JJ knew she had to be quick, and hopefully not give Petra a window to counter whatever it was she wanted to do! JJ moved in and wrapped an arm around Petra's head while pulling her up, using her other hand to grab a leg behind the knee. JJ tried to make the hold as secure as she could before grunting, lifting Petra up and trying to send her crashing down with a fisherman suplex! She wanted to get rolling and show Petra that she wasn't the only rookie around with an impressive record that people should be talking about!

Trying as best she could to regain her bearings, Petra found her efforts all for nought as JJ closed in. She'd try as she could to push upon the girl whom was already hooking around her - it was more than apparent given the headlock-like hold that Petra was about to be victim to a suplex, even if she didn't know which variation. Though that too became apparent a mere second later.

Grimacing and grunting as her eyes shut, Petra could do next to nothing as her leg was hooked and brought up. Knee near thrust against her own abdomen, Petra tensed her back as much as she dared before finding that remaining leg of hers heaved off the ground as well. As JJ hoisted her up and over, with less than a second spent in the air for the Greek!

With that snappy suplex delivered without retort from the Greek, JJ was free to capitalise further had she so dared. Petra on the other hand could but try and raise a hand to her aching shoulder, with her breathing picking up from the pain suddenly thrust upon it.

JJ winced as she got up, the spar taking a quick toll on her. She grabbed Petra by the arm and pulled her to her feet. JJ took a deep breath and hauled Petra up into the air, onto her shoulders. JJ would jump up and lean to the side, trying to drive Petra down to the mat with a death valley driver to hammer her offense home! If successful JJ would roll her onto her back after the death valley driver to attempt a pin on the impressive Greek grappler!

Petra was finding herself increasingly in a position from which there was no coming back. If anymore was to be done to her, it wouldn't matter if she could turn the match on its head. She would have suffered too much, and exerted herself to balance out the damage. Even outright dominance following whatever JJ had planned would only end in her having exerted herself outright, in return for nought but an aching foe.

Naturally when she found herself forced up, Petra had no desire to play victim to another of JJ's seemingly faultless slams. Purposefully letting the strength in her legs fade out entirely, Petra all at once turned to jelly, falling towards the canvas in quite a sudden and almost alarming motion.

Though the Greek hadn't fainted or otherwise, quite the contrary. She simply thought it to be the smartest way to not only slip from JJ's grip before she could fully lock it, but secure her own hold on JJ's legs.

As she tilted her hips and torso as to have it fall behind JJ, with her legs already hooking around her foes hip and knee-crook alike. To suddenly roll-her up!

JJ thought she had Petra in a spot where she could pull off some magic, really doing a number on her. She was quickly proven wrong as Petra slipped from her grip and fell behind JJ rolling her up and folding her over! Before JJ even knew what happened the count was one and she was still figuring out how she got in this position!

"TWO!"

JJ thrust and tried to power her way out but Petra's own strength was considerable, and her roll up quite a secure pin! JJ screamed as she tried again to thrust out feeling herself bucking her way to breaking free.....

"THREE!"

....but her slow realization of what happened had cost her as her powering her way to freedom happened right after the three count. JJ's pride felt a tiny bit damaged as the talked about Greek rookie proved to be the hottest new sensation in the ring, showing JJ that she still had work to do to stand out even among the newcomers such as Petra and Ashley Lucas before she was able to be at the forefront of the more established women. Slapping the mat in frustration JJ slowly worked her way to her knees wiping sweat from her brow.

Petra put due force into the sudden roll-up, for it likely wouldn't earn her a end to this spar, but damn if it wouldn't force JJ to outright exert herself to break free. The Greek was nearly atop of her foes thighs after all, with her grip close to flawless. Nothing but all of JJ's might was going to heave the Greek off her, as Petra shut her eyes whilst calling out a pin as accurately as she could, given the circumstances.

Though as the count went on, her voice seemingly lost volume. Almost as if it were caught in surprise. Or she couldn't believe what was happening.

With the call of the three count, Petra released naturally. Rolling off of her foe, pushing herself to all fours, Petra would quickly turn to JJ with a concerned look in her gaze. Was her count too fast? Did JJ perhaps injure herself prior thus leaving herself unable to exert a breakout?

She didn't want such a lovely spar with a lovely foe to end under dubious conditions. She didn't want that for any of her encounters, as a matter of fact.

"Did...Did I...?" She'd question, turning her head as she merely lay there for JJ's prompt.

"Damn it...." JJ muttered, unhappy with herself for falling to the surprise roll up. Petra was so fluid with it that JJ wasn't sure of what happened until about the two count. Shaking her head she looked over at Petra and paused, taking a deep breath before giving her a nod.

"Yeah. You got me, you win." JJ said. Petra used a smart tactic so she wasn't upset with her at all. JJ was just more disappointed in herself for not kicking out or recognizing her situation sooner. Was Petra really that much ahead of her in that department? She was good for sure, but JJ really hoped that she was the next big thing worthy of at least equal footing with the Greek grappler. She sighed and understood why she wasn't mentioned in the same breath as the other young wrestler in the ring with her. JJ was going to do all she could to change that.

For Petra it was hard for her to gauge strength. The win was that out of the blue, that it couldn't be fairly said who was the stronger, the quicker, or the more skilled. Though perhaps having the ability to pull out such a sudden victory attempt was skill enough in itself?

Regardless, Petra didn't opt to whine nor complain about how her spar had ended. It was a victory nonetheless, with both fighters trying their hardest.

Standing with her hands dusting off her lap, Petra extended her hand for a shake of JJ's own. There was nothing dirty about her roll-up, but she imagined it could be frustrating for one to be caught out by it all the same.

JJ smiled and nodded to Petra as she shook her hand. "Next time I will get ya. I will he better than I was today." JJ said, a small hint of confidence in her voice as she was trying to mask her disappointment in herself as well as fear that Petra truly was in a tier ahead of JJ.

"Still, this was..... informative. Thanks for the spar." JJ said, bowing to take away all she could in order to better herself. She also hoped deep down that she would face off against Petra is some capacity.

Petra could but nod - it was easier said than done to not feel bad about the scenario, given one would have liked a definitive finish to truly show the effects of your training. But all was said and done now, and there was no use in patronising JJ by offering a rematch.

"I am looking very much forward to facing you again in the future..." Is all she'd say with a smile, as her hand soon came back to her. With that, Petra would hope things could be left there, with her figure turning to reach for the ropes and slide through them.
