Battle of Indomitable Wills! Finlay Zeffer vs Amaya Shizuko

Groankng in pain Finlay cursed as Amaya ruthlessly pulled on his arm in the submission hold, not that he blamed her at all since he’d do the exact same. But he’d be damned if he just gave into her with out a fight. Thinking quickly as she she attempted to pull him down he would use the hand trying to hold onto his own to prevent the arm bar from being fully locked in to do something sneaky. Changing grip from his and hewould snap it to Amaya’s, allowing Amaya to fully lock the full fury of the hold, only to try and use the oppurtunity to grab Amaya’s hand pry it away with a grunt if pain and effort. If he was successful in this sudden break he would snap both arms around Amaya’s right leg where he’d go to try and get on his knees while turning her leg at an angle to try and return Amaya’s armbar with a leg bar of his own.

Amaya would twist on the armbar but in that brief opening where she could wrench on the lone arm Finlay caught her off guard as he performed quite the nifty slight of hand and managed to slip out of the armbar before flipping on her and laying on side while she was on her back and wrenched on her leg with a leglock. Amaya grit her teeth, and worked to try and kick at Finlay with a free leg while she tried to work out a way to escape this hold before it could cause lasting pain.

Thankfully Finlay’s gambit had payed off and he saved his arm from suffering any continued damage. Pulling ber leg to the side at a twisted angle winced slightly as he felt Amaya’s leg lashing out angrily at him making him wince. Thinking quickly and wanting to cause even a small bit of damage to his opponet’s limb, Finlay would throw his legs up wrapping them around Amaya’s, both to add to the leg lock, but also to put up some form of defense, meager as it was, against Amaya’s kicks.

Amaya groaned as her legs would grabbed at as Finlay seemed to try and twist them together as he tried to keep by her kicking and form a barrier, though as Finlay used his arms Amaya would grab at them as she aimed to try and pull on the arm and "push" against his chest with her folding legs and it it worked well a modified monkey flip could help get Finaly off of her.

Finlay grunted as he pulled and twisted Amaya’s leg, attemptibg to hold onto his opponet as long as possible and wear her down. Unfortunately for him however Amaya had a good sense for battle, and knew what to do to get out despite his best attempt to stop her from doing so. Feeling her shift beneath him and get herself under him Finlay grunted, trying to hold her, but it was for nought. Feeling her feet press into him he gasped as he was suddenly pushed off a distance away with a grunt as be rolled along the mat before stopping, now on his hands and knees as a result

Amaya was not able to capitalize instantly, as she still felt the sting of the earlier hold on her legs and worked to shake it off once she had literally shaken Finlay off of her. Though once she had, she noticed Finlay's position as the former student council president saw opportunity and quickly moved to pounce. Her plan was to get on top of Finlay and lock in a rear naked choke submission with bodycissors to try and squeeze a surrender out of her opponent.

Finlay groaned softly as he held his ribs from Amaya’s sudden escape, the sharp feeling of her heels against his side being a sensation he knew wouldn’t be leaving anytime soon. As he started to get up he was already planning his next plan of attack, but it appeared Amaya had done so already and was in movement! Before he could stand fully he felt a slender pair of arms and legs wrap around his neck and waist. Grunting sharply from the sudden lack of air he grasped at her arms and ankles, trying initially to pull them apart by force.

Amaya managed to lock in her grip, though it seemed Finlay was not one to go down easily as already he reached for her feet and arms and began to try and pull them apart which turned this into a struggle, one that Amaya was not about to lose so easily. She responded to his efforts as she squeezed with her arms and legs hard as she could and tried to shift their bodies to drive him down to a side. If she could ground them, she'd have all the leverage in her favor and lessen the struggle on her end to maintain the hold.

”Guh... agh...” Finlay gagged oit softly, still gripping her arms and legs aggresively his attemptef to pry them away failing as this girl’s grip was much too strong to do much against. Shaking his head he would suddenly groan as she attempted to throw her weight to the side nearly toppling them over. ‘On no you don’t’ he thought to himself keeping himself on his knees at least. Focusing on the ropes he would push himself up and try to run at the ropes as best he could while being choked out. If he could get going he would turn at the last moment to smash Amaya back first into the ring corner in a bid to make her release him.

Amaya would squeeze ever tighter on the hold as she was not gonna give Finlay anything and his struggles to free himself were met and matched by Amaya's own resolve to keep the hold and force a submission out of him. Yet in her focus on the submission she failed to note where Finlay moved himself and before long her back slammed into the corner which caused Amaya to gasp in pain; which didn't break the hold, but weakened it to a significant degree.
