The Road to Superstardom (For Leira)

Unread post by Teenwrestler »

The LAW Gym was busy this afternoon. Not because of the rush of the ongoing and outgoing gym goes using the facility but because of a particularly interesting scenario that was being set-up for a very special event organized by the LAW management. There were a couple of High Definition camera's set up with lots of wires set up nearby, there were professional lights set up and stage hands at the ready for what was going to be an interview session involving two of LAW's newest recruits who were selected for an interview to be published on the LAW magazine and uploaded to LAW's official website.

The cameramen were all in black T-shirts and pants, the only person wearing some bright colours in her attire was the very spunky and full of life interviewer who was looking her absolute Sunday best. She had a mic in her hand while two other stage hands had mics in their hands as well, presumably for the interviewees for them they would arrive. "Alright so how do I look?" the chirpy girl said to which the men would give her a thumbs up and she would nod in response. After making some last minute check-ups, everyone took their spots and the interviewer would stand in the middle of the camera's and on cue of the cameramen would begin.

"Hello and welcome everyone at LAW. Today's event is a special interview and wrestling challenge to promote intergender wrestling at LAW and also to shine some spotlight to LAW's newest talent to give them a push into their wrestling career. The two selected participants are Ryu Hiroshi from Japan and Gabrielle Alresford from the United States of America!" she would say with the brightest smile ever.

"Now, are participants are just getting ready and would be joining us any time shortly." she would say.

Meanwhile, Ryu Hiroshi was in his locker room getting ready for this. In truth, the male wrestler was just ever so slightly nervous because he was never really good at promoting himself for a match in an interview. He would rather let his wrestling do the talking, regardless as he was new here he had to have some sort of promotion and he was not going to let this go to waste. After taking a nice shower to freshen up, he applied his more expensive man deodorant before slipping into his blue wrestling briefs and matching fingerless gloves. Ryu would take a moment to groom himself before slipping into some gym shoes.

A knock on the door was his signal to head out and Ryu would have one last look at himself in the mirror. "Hmmm..." he said before quietly heading out.

"And here comes our first contestant! Ryu Hiroshi" the interviewer girl would say while Ryu would walk up toward the center stage of the camera's lens. He did not look nervous at all, the male had a stoic look on his face as his manly, chiseled frame was on display for the folks watching the show. The interviewer girl would make sure everything was set and now all they had to do was wait for the second participant so that they can get this show on the road.

Elle didn't suffer from nerves like Ryu. Hours ago she had driven them away with the same determination and optimism that had helped a teenaged girl learn how to fight so she could keep herself safe and how to grow flowers in awful soil so she could make money. She had learned not to waste time on anxiousness, because it never gave a girl what she wanted. Elle Alresford did not have the time for another obstacle so irrelevant as nerves.

But before she would be comfortable enough to leave the locker room as she was, Elle thought it was a pretty smart move to check her teeth in the mirror by sticking her face reeeeeal close to it. Wouldn't do to have any food stuck in there for the cameras to see. Those were the things a woman could worry about when she wanted to make an impression. But nope, nothing in there! Besides the teeth thankfully. She giggled and leaned back while the rest of her body filled the length of the mirror. All her soft curves were squeezed tightly into her favorite white swimsuit for this oil match (how exciting), and Elle twisted in front of the mirror to admire herself from all sorts of angles. "Shouldn't have to worry about them looking at my mouth, should I?" she asked no one (a frequent habit). Pride surged when she thought of her change from the skinny twig standing behind the counter of her flower booth into the woman before her with soft ripples in her tight stomach, thickness to her hips and thighs, and small bulges in her upper arms.

Elle winked at herself and strutted her way out of the room. Before she could get to the oil wrestling fun, there was to be an interview to promote her, and Elle had confidence that stepping out in her swimsuit and nothing else (except some flip-flips because these floors needed a mop) would make just the impression she wanted to give to LAW's fans and her hopefully handsome fellow interviewee and competitor to be.

As she ran headlong into one of the film crew as she swung out of the door, Elle decided she probably wasn't going to be making the best impression on this one man, anyway. Both of them jumped back, and the man looked at her with stunned confusion. Elle recalled she was supposed to wait to be called to the stage.

Maybe Elle should have been embarrassed, but she just tilted her head and shrugged. "Wouldn't you know it, that wasn't a knock I heard on my door. Must have misheard while I was slipping into this." His disarming took seconds. His face softened, his eyes dipped to her chest and abs, and when they returned to her face, they were forgiving. Elle's small, sweet smile sealed it, and he mumbled something to her about it being fine, that she should just wait for her cue. She nodded and wheeled to follow his hand which gestured at the stage.

Lucky thing that Elle had come out early. It gave her the perfect chance to spy on Ryu Hiroshi while he came to greet the interviewer. And spy on him Elle did in his little briefs, her twinkling green orbs taking in a rippling stomach and barrel chest and filling with mischief. Could they go ahead and start that romp in the oil now?

The man's gesture said it all, interview first. As easy as if she had snapped her fingers, Elle turned on the charms. With swaying hips she stepped into view of the camera, and her bright smile met Ryu first, then the interviewer, and then the camera before a mic was pressed into her hand. "And our second contestant, representing you girls out there, Gabrielle Alresford!"

With the opposite hand, Elle pressed a kiss to her palm before directing it to the camera. Some small town girl without a name yet or no, Elle felt sexy standing here beside this hunk, showing off, the spotlight on her.

"Alright, you two. Before you get to all that intense wrestling action to win yourselves some new fans, we'd like to give everyone a chance to hear you, your thoughts and opinions on wrestling and mixed wrestling, and what you both believe you bring to the LAW roster. So tradition might say we would go ladies first, but Ryu, since we're on your home turf, we'll let you answer this one first. What makes mixed wrestling different, both for yourself and for viewers?"

While he had a stoic and confident look on his face there were definitely butterflies in his stomach whilst standing in front of the lights and cameras. It was weird, Ryu had performed in front of live crowds and had even given interviews before but it was always a different ball game when it was a new environment and going into a new style of wrestling against new opponents. Being introduced to intergender wrestling for the first time, Ryu was a bit skeptical but in the end figured that gender shouldn't matter when you're in a wrestling ring or mats and all that would matter are you wrestling ability. He would look around, trying to see if his co-interviewee was around somewhere or whether she was running late.

The male did spot someone clad in a white swimsuit, she was beautiful and was toned enough to qualify as a wrestler. When she joined him in the staged interview area and was introduced as Gabrielle Alresford his suspicions were confirmed. The Dragon would bow ever so slightly and nod his head towards Elle to acknowledge her before turning to the interviewer when she asked him the first question.

It took him a second to gather his thoughts but he had a good idea on what he wanted to say. "Well, first of all thank you for having me here. I haven't had a chance to wrestle any female wrestlers outside of LAW so I can't say I can talk much about my experience in mixed wrestling. However, I can say that gender shouldn't matter in a wrestling match and I see more and more women getting into the sport just as much as men. The barriers are almost broken and men and women both are involved in the sport evenly so I can't say why there can't be competition amongst them as peers?" he said.

Taking a moment to adjust his briefs he would continue, "For viewers perhaps there is another added element of excitement? Perhaps people feel an added excitement of pride in a battle of the sexes competition?" he added before offering center spot to Elle who was next in line to answer the question.

While Ryu responded, Elle was less listening, more blatantly staring and tracing the contours of his jaw and chest with her eyes and not caring if the camera noticed. She did pick up a word here and there because Elle could start to feel some nerves and embarrassment if she repeated everything he said, but she fixated on one of the first comments he offered. That he didn't have experience wrestling females. Ooh, she could use that. She didn't have a wealth of mixed wrestling experience, but she had taken down her share of men in the past.

It didn't seem like his answer was anything like hers, probably because the one she swished around in her mind was as minxy as her wandering eyes which followed his hands down to his briefs. They popped right back up. It might be too much if her gaze rested there as he started to wrap a bow on his answer. "All excellent points, Ryu. Gabrielle?"

After a curtsy-like dip of her shoulders toward Ryu, Elle inched forward with the mic already at her lips. "You can just call me Elle. Gabrielle's always been a little too fancy for me." She offered the interviewer a smile and the woman's returned one seemed uncertain, like she had expected to have been given a warning about the name.

Despite her softer, melodic voice, Elle made sure to speak up, to sound like a confident wrestler. "What Ryu said is true, that we all are and should be wrestling on a more even playing field these days. It's important to us girls to have the same chances as the guys, and that meant the world to me when I started wrestling." Since it seemed too dreary to say that it was because Elle wanted to protect herself from dangerous guys in her neighborhood, she left it out.

With the pageant answer done with, Elle broke into a coy smirk. "But we can also be honest about something else, can't we? Girls like seeing other girls take down the guys because we're the 'weaker sex' or whatever other crazy things they say, and there are guys who want to see brawny men like Ryu uphold 'male pride' when they're wrestling upstart women like me. It's intense and anyone who says it's not also sexy is lyiiing."

The proud Japanese male was relieved when his turn was over. He almost felt like wiping the imaginary droplets of sweat on his forehead but refrained from that action. Instead, he would offer the woman her place in front of the interviewer. Switching sides it was now Ryu's turn to observe and listen to whatever Elle had to say. He could not deny that the woman was absolutely stunningly beautiful and tried to make sure that his eyes would not wander off to places where he would be embarrassed should the eyes of the camera's caught his gaze.

Ryu would take a note of something immediately, that the woman preferred to be called Elle and not Gabrielle. The Dragon was a respectful guy and he would make sure to honor her request so as to not get on her bad side for no reason. For now, she seemed like a likeable person because she did seem to agree with what Ryu had to say for the most part and he would nod in agreement to the first part of her answer. Then, Elle would smirk and offer an interesting response to the second part of the question which Ryu was not slightly sure what his stance on the matter would be and would have a rather puzzled look on his face with his eyebrow raised.

"Hehe well you certainly are quite bold aren't you? I like it" the chirpy interviewer said. "Alright then, its almost time to get to the action but first we gotta have a little staredown between our two wrestlers and see if they have anything to say to each other." she said shuffling around to shift the view to the other.

Ryu would take a deep breath, getting ready for this. Ryu would face Elle with the cameras catching the action from the sideway. Facing Elle, Ryu would take a step forward until the two were face to face. Their noses inches apart while he stared her right into the eyes with his his stoic expression. "Mōshiwakearimasenga, watashi wa katsu tsumoridesu." he said in his native Japanese language. "I do respect you and all women who wrestle but I am going to be the winner today. I am going to become the best in LAW and I will make you submit" he said taking a step further until their foreheads butted ever so lightly.

Elle had more sparks on the tip of her tongue to hype up the match and heat up the room, but the interviewer had what she wanted for the promotional piece. Looking pleased with herself, Elle teetered back and lowered the mic, dashing her eyes onto Ryu to see if he reacted. The telltale signs of his head-cogs churning again broadened the smirk on Elle's face. Ryu had taken notice, and she hoped she already had dashed some charms onto him with that show, same as the crowd watching. Turning him into her putty was her plan, as it often was when she wrestled with men. Mmm, maybe Elle should have added that slight to her answer.

Ryu was not totally her putty, or at least, not yet. With the interviewer urging them to add to the tension by having a stare-off, Elle turned gracefully to Ryu as the stoic man walked up to her and cut the distance between them into a pleasing few inches. With a composed smile on her face, Elle resisted her desire to cheat just a little and start touching in favor of appreciating the sight of his chiseled features imposing over hers but knowing that men even bigger than Ryu had been beaten by women even smaller than her. Hmmm, his fragrance smelled nice, too. Those were points in his favor, rather than being some bum drenched in the scent of his own sweat.

Elle did not know the Japanese he spoke because she could name on both hands the amount of times she had even heard Japanese before coming to Tokyo for LAW. She would assume it was not some grand insult, though, especially because as soon as he tapped foreheads with her (which was somehow as cute as it was filled with danger), Elle's thoughts were filled solely with thoughts of getting him into a hold and not letting go until he surrendered. Between how sexy she felt in her swimsuit on camera and the tension of knowing what this would lead to, Elle was bubbling to her physical and emotional brim with excitement.

That excitement did not hamper her silver tongue, and she pressed her forehead forward as she stared into his eyes. "Mmmm, you may turn out to be the best man in LAW, but in this building today, I'm going to be the best wrestler."

With the small interview over, both Ryu and Elle had gotten their point across as to why they were here and what their thoughts were on intergender wrestling. Both made interesting observation but the time for talk was almost over. When the interviewer gave the two space to stare each other down as a promo before the match, both Ryu and Elle would get up-close and personal for an intense staredown. Ryu would stare into her emerald green eyes, he was unflinching and so was he. While he had a stoic and serious expression on his face, Elle's expressions were more mischievous with an infectious smile.

They were so close, Ryu tried not to blush seeing the beautiful woman up close. Her impressive body would press up against his own and his nostrils got a scent of her fragrance which resembled a fresh flower basket. Her tongue was sharp too, quickly offering a response to Ryu's declaration with her own. No doubt it was an impressive comeback. The crew made sure to get every inch of this tension from all angles.

"Allllrighty I think that's good enough. Great work you two" the interviewer said approaching them while the camera's cut. "Alright then we're going to go prepare one of the gyms private wrestling room. This match will be recorded even though its in private, just telling you before hand." she winked.

"Anyways, give us some time and we'll inform you when the room is set up. Good luck" she said waving the two off, leaving the competitors alone. It was an awkward moment now, Ryu wasn't sure what to do while waiting to be called up for their wrestling match. He would look at Elle and offer her a gentle smile and nod, not sure what he could say to the woman he was about to wrestle in just a few minutes. "Uh, Elle-san. Good-luck" he said offering his hand to her for a handshake.

Elle was enraptured by the intensity of their stare-off and her moment to shine (and thought she had made quite the good comeback in their little exchange!). The interviewer's best efforts to suck away the room's energy and close the interview did not stop her from continuing to shove into Ryu. At first anyway. When the interviewer mentioned the upcoming oil match, and that it would be recorded, the smirking Californian did teeter away from him, but her expression never changed. She had expected the match to be recorded anyway. It only made sense for a promotional web page. And, with her bold words about mixed wrestling and her comeback, she wanted to make the recording proof that she knew how to back up her words. That was that, no need to get all anxious.

"I wouldn't have it any other way." she said the interviewer, returning the wink, while the woman left with her crew. Leaving just Elle and Ryu, awkwardly of course, and managing to break the tension. Why hadn't they gotten the room ready before? Elle was charged and eager after that exchange!

She let out a heavy sigh that echoed her thoughts and let her hands rest on her hips. "That's an odd way to take the heat out of a moment."

Elle wasn't sure if Ryu would have much to say since he struck her already as the strong, silent type (not a bad thing), but when she turned back from watching the others leave, he was inching closer to her again. A strange anticipation of danger struck Elle for reasons she didn't take the time to think about, but he was just being friendly and extending her a hand. It was a sweet gesture, and Elle probably should have returned only sweetness in kind. But then, the man had just told her that he was going to make her submit and she had bitten right back with aggressive claims of her own. While she did not want to make an enemy here, Elle wanted to keep that tension.

She clasped his hand before she answered him. A very nice, strong hand, at that. Sass and sauciness poured from her like second nature. "I don't have much need for luck. It's never done me any good, but I got here without it so it must be all skills I rely on." Her grin was mischievous, and Elle poked him in the ribs for her sake as much as his. "But thank you. Good luck to you too, big guy."

Elle had let go of his hand a heartbeat before the interviewer stuck her head back into the room. "Okay, you two come along! We're all but ready."

It was truly a bit strange that the crew wanted to break the intensity of the moment between the two wrestlers but it was all due to their plans. They wanted to capture these individual moments and have them saved to be used for the magazine and LAW website. The two wrestlers were itching to fight but these breaks were surely breaking the momentum. However, that wasn't going to last too long because their moment to wrestle was soon to come and once the match would start nothing would stop it until one would submit to the other. Ryu wouldn't say anything to the team when they left but Elle felt like she was ready to go, winking back at the interviewer and responding to the fact that the match was being recorded.

Soon the crew left and the two wrestlers had a moment to each other. Being the respectful man that he was, he would offer his hand to her for a handshake while wishing her goodluck. Elle would give him a firm handshake and at first instead of wishing him luck she had some intense and competitive words for him. However, she would finish her words with a friendly poke on the rib before thanking him and wishing him luck too. Ryu would simply nod.

The two were called back and were told everything was ready. The Dragon and Elle would walk together, following the interviewer towards their designated wrestling room. "Good luck both of you. We will be waiting outside for the winner." she said opening the door. Ryu would enter the room with Elle and the door closed behind them, leaving the two of them alone. The camera's on the top corners of the room were blinking red, indicating that they were being recorded now.

The room itself was a modest size room, good enough for two people to wrestle. It was an empty room with wooden walls which were padded. The floors were also padded with thick, blue wrestling mats which were covered by tarpaulin. There was a basket in the middle of the room, filled with bottles of oil used for traditional oil wrestling. Ryu would move forward to the middle of the mats, grabbing a few bottles and opening them up. He began to pour them on the tarpaulin clad mats to get the surface nice and oiled up. "I want you to know that I am not going to take it easy on you just because you are a woman" he said in a serious tone.

He would move back to the middle, grabbing more bottles of oil this time he began to pour them on himself. He squeezed the liquid on his chest, neck and palms. The Japanese male would begin to massage his front body, getting himself nice and oiled up from the front. Next, Ryu would start to ooze the oil on his thighs and calves to get his lower body oiled up. "I am going to win." he said after he was finally oiled up. Getting down on his knees on the middle of the mats, he would raise his arms up to his shoulder. "Elle-san....lets WRESTLE" he hissed.

Elle raised her eyebrows excitedly at the interviewer and Ryu. "Good! I was getting antsy already." Things were about to get physical. Elle might have liked to talk, but she liked for her wrestling skills and smarts to do a lot of talking, too. Some people didn't take her seriously, and Elle could understand why. Not many women walked around in the locker room with flowers stuffed into their ponytail holder and a bright countenance. Those flowers had never stopped her from punching out men twice her weight if they bothered her when no one else was around either, though, and it made Elle feel like a superheroine to prove to people that she could do what might have seemed out of character for her appearance.

Elle couldn't tell if Ryu had any of those doubts about her as she scanned him while they left the room together. He had been respectful so far, but he was hard for her to read beyond what he said. Doubting her or not, she would still be proving herself. Maybe not to him, but to the LAW universe, even if this match was not in front of screaming fans. A confident smile matched her confident walk as she strode along with the click-clack of her flip-flops filling the silence of the hallway.

She answered the interviewer with a small "Thanks" before the woman departed, leaving her and Ryu alone in their small, intimate arena. Really small and intimate. The room had a weirdly nice atmosphere to it for two people about to roll around together while smothered in oil, even though it was mostly just a practical indoor sparring room. Must have done something with the lightning, and Elle directed another of her patented smirks at all the blinking recording lights. LAW couldn't wait to take in the action about to take place.

Ryu moved first to the oil, and his words made Elle proudly straighten her back before she peeled off her flip-flops and strode after him. "And I'm not going to take it easy on you just because you're a man. What was that about an even playing field?" she asked him, in a way that said she wasn't really expecting an answer but calling him out on his earlier words.

She stepped onto a stretch of mat where he had dumped the oil to check it's slickness. Her foot wanted to slide right out from under her, so pretty slick. Elle knew she should check it out more, but something else was going on that took her full attention.

Ryu wasn't making a sexual show of putting on his oil, but girl, it was still a show. Elle chewed her lower lip watching him rub it over the ripples of his chest and abs.

Okay, she couldn't be outdone here, and she couldn't be the only one distracted. Elle quickly snatched up a couple bottles of her own and made eye contact with Ryu. His way of slathering on oil was practical. Elle's was seductive. She let the liquid slowly drain from the bottles onto her shoulders and form small rivulets that passed over and between her breasts, down her toned abs, and down to her hips before she dropped the bottles and started spreading it with her hands. She took extra time working it around her chest and her outer thighs and watched him to see if he was watching. Er, until he started working oil between his legs, near those cute little trunks he wore and what they contained. Elle had to work harm to calm herself down at that sight, and she was determined to return the favor. She took plenty of time working oil on her inner thighs, too, while she squeezed them together. And she feigned innocence, because why not? "Feels pretty nice. And it has to be good for your skin."

The time for banter was over, though. Ryu was ready, Elle was ready, and they both had something to prove. And Elle couldn't see this being anything but fun, especially if she could win.

She got down on her knees with him, one of her bottles of oil still in her hand. She started to put it down, but an idea smacked her right in the side of her head. No amount of will could stop the mischievous smile from crossing her features as she responded to him. "Okay. But my move first!"

With that, Elle lifted the half-filled bottle she still held and smashed it between her palms, sending a stream of oil out of its mouth and at his jaw or neck if she had aimed right. Whether she had or not, Elle tossed the bottle aside and dove at him to tackle him around the waist.
