Sachiko couldn't be more excited with the news. She knew that, with their so-far successful run in LAW, the Heartbreakers would have plenty of eyes on them as they rose to the top, and they were sure to make a name for themselves through dominating the competition. With each win they racked up, and with each beatdown they left on their unfortunate opponents, the Heartbreakers were building a reputation as a team to be feared.
But none of that could compare to what they faced now. Here, they had been booked for a match at We Are LAW - and even if they were only on the undercard, appearing on LAW's biggest PPV was the greatest accomplishment of their career up to this point. It'd put more eyes on them than ever before, and this sort of audience was just what they needed to establish themselves as one of the tag team division's biggest threats. Of course, what was even better than
appearing on the card was
winning on the card, which would show everyone what they were capable of. And that was something Sachiko was already sure would happen. With a smirk on her face, she turned around to face her companions.
"You girls ready? Heh...this is gonna be good~"
"You bet!" cheered Kyoko, who held a fist in the air as she ran to her leader's side. Misako gave a noncommital shrug, but followed her nonetheless. It was time to make their grand entrance, and they wouldn't miss it for the world.
Indeed, a grand entrance it was set to be. The lights dimmed in the arena as fog was blown in from a machine, and the screen on the jumbotron lit up with the logo of the Heartbreakers, just as the three of them stepped out onto the stage below.
As usual, Sachiko had her baseball bat slung over her shoulder, and all three of them wore sunglasses and open leather jackets with the logo emblazoned on the back. Kyoko grinned and mugged for a few camera flashes, but quieted down as Misako covertly punched her in the arm, leaving the three of them to proceed to the ring. Taking their places, Sachiko accepted a microphone, coming forward to face the ramp as she shouted into it.
"Sup, losers! I hope you're all real comfy in those seats...because some folks around here won't be! Get a good look at us, because we're gonna go places. This is only the beginning, and you're all getting a taste of what we can do..."
"But nobody's getting quite as much of a taste of us as the Fleeing Cherry Blossoms!" Kyoko added with a grin.
"That's Flying Cherry Bombs," Sachiko corrected.
"No, I think she was making an insult," Misako pointed out.
"Insult? No, that's what I thought they were called. My bad."
"...I should have known better from you."
"Well, whatever!" Sachiko took the microphone back, pointing out at the entrance.
"Whatever you're called...get in the ring right now, because it won't be any fun if we need to kick your asses backstage!"
