Duel Of The Rookies : Kotone Shiomi Vs. Ichika Rei

Kotone was in a very bad way to continue the match, her initial evasiveness has gone down the drain as she was getting beaten by Ichika. But Kotone was quite stubborn, and was determined to find her way out of the situation.

With Ichika about to hit a Moonsault Press, Kotone brought her knees up, hoping to give Ichika an uncomfortable landing.

Ichika felt confident, the match was finally turning to her favor. The victory is within her grasps, she could see it. So by the time she climbed the corner, there was no hesitation in her face, it can be seen just by the look on her face that she had already thrown all precautions aside.

Ichika would come to hate how she acted as she saw Kotone’s knees raising midair. Her knees looked like spikes from a trap that was sprung, with her as the unlucky prey. It was too late to change her course or even brace the impact, so she closed her eyes instead as if hoping that the knees weren’t really there

”GAHHHH”, Ichika gasped as the air abruptly left her lungs, her eyes opened wide by how painful it felt. Her limbs sank down as she was deflated by the impact. Her body hugging the curve of Kotone’s fold up knees before she would fall right beside Kotone sitting with her legs folded before doubling down with her arms wrapped around her stomach.

Ichika was lucky Kotone was wearing knee pads in her gear, or else the double knees would've hurt more. With the reversal done, Kotone could breathe a sigh of relief. That last move from Ichika could've been the set up for the end of Kotone in one of her first matches. Still breathing heavily, Kotne slowly got up, now looking down at her doubled down opponent.

With a look of determination in her face, Kotone ran towards the ropes, bounced off them, and attempted a Moonsault splash to Ichika's back. Hopefully her dynamic offense will come into play against her fellow rookie opponent.

Ichika hoped that it would be the final moments already, the move that would finally seal the deal. But once again, she underestimated the fresh wrestler's skills again as she fall squarely to her knees knocking the wind out of her.

She quickly crumpled and folded up as she let out gasps and groans trying to take back the air she'd lost. Her head down staring blankly to the mat with her eyes wide open as she was still shocked and stunned by it. Ichika has to get back up, to try and grab that win that eluded her once again.

Kotone would cruelly not allow that though as she felt her land on her back. Ichika's buried face shot back up as she let out a cry of pain, as the move take away once again the air she has worked hard for to get back.

Kotone could feel the momentum come back to her side once again, in a match that has been ridiculously competitive since the ring of the bell. With Ichika now being the one crying in pain, Kotone decided to turn Ichika on her back, and attempt a single leg hook pin, seeing if Ichika was too exhausted to kick out.

Ichika felt that there wasn’t much that changed since she took control. She was sprawled all over the mat writhing in pain. Her eyes shut close as tears start to build on the corner of her eyes. Her mouth gaping open as air left her body as she got squashed by the splash before her lips would curl to a grimace as she would roll all over the mat writhing in pain as she placed one hand on her back.

Ichika would then feel Kotone force her to stay in her place as she places her nubile body on top of Ichika for the pin. A tear would fall down her cheek as her leg was raised. She can’t believe she’s the one being pinned again and not her opponent. Will this keep going like this? Ichika’s head would sway side to side on the pool of blue that is her hair at the first slap to the mat. Trying her best to regain back her senses and muster the strength to lift her shoulder at the second. She would then raise her shoulder in accordance with the ref’s hand raising again for the last count breaking the pin. The crowd roaring as their idol isn’t done yet as she would try to roll away as far as possible from Kotone.

Kotone hooked Ichika's leg in the air, and sadly got only a two count. This match was using a lot of energy from Kotone's very fast style, and with Ichika's kick out, Kotone was really starting to were out.

Now in a sitting position, Kotone took the opportunity breathe and rest, sadly not paying attention to the fact she was open for an attack,

One thing Ichika has aside from her speed, is her stubbornness and perseverance in the ring. No matter how tough the situation is, she will always, always try to fight back. As long as she could raise her shoulder in defiance, she will. This would serve to sap her opponent’s energy and will as shown clearly in this match.

Ichika rolled to her side quickly, her mouth gaped open as she heaved controlled deep breaths trying to regain the much needed strength. Ichika would notice how Kotone slumped on the mat not paying much attention to her.

Trying to take advantage of this, she would power herself through the pain and roll on her back again and towards Kotone with her legs up looking to wrap them around Kotone’s neck. If this worked, she would then bring Kotone down on her back and secure the headscissors!!

Kotone was simply exhausted from the last sequence of moves, and had to take a rest from all the flashiness she was pulling out with her moveset. But throughout this, Ichika has managed to keep up with her, trying to limit her options.

Now, Kotone as she was resting, felt two legs on her neck, and Next thing she knew, she was on her back, her air being taken away by the thighs of Ichika Rei. She had to fight for air and struggle for the next few minutes in the grasp of Ichika,

It would look like that her opponent has drained her reservoir of strength by now as she didn’t even see her move coming as her legs slithered around her neck and took her down by it. Ichika was exhausted too after a couple of painful, sick moves that she was put on. But by the looks of the position they are both in, it would seem like Ichika is a bit more tougher and stubborn than the redhead.

She couldn’t help but recognize the skill of her foe as she was almost brought to her knees a couple of times into the match. ”I really like you! You are great but the match is sealed now honey. We could always do something fun right after this though, what do you say?”, Ichika remarked, still wanting to be friends with Kotone.
