Duel Of The Rookies : Kotone Shiomi Vs. Ichika Rei

Kotone could feel the hold tightening and tightening, the fight for air and the fight not to submit struggling against her body. Hearing her opponent call her cute in the middle of it did not help matters.

"I'll show you cute." Kotone said, now attempting to loosen her legs to get under Ichika, and use them to Monkey Flip Ichika out of the hold. This was her last chance or she was out.

Ichika smirked as she felt her hold tightening around her smaller opponent. Even though Ichika thought of this just to soften up her opponent, it seems like it’s working more than she expected as she felt her opponent weakening every second

”Getting too comfortable in there aren’t ya?”, Ichika teased but with a tone of concern as well as she wants to know if the redhead is still okay.

Ichika would have gotten the answer by Kotone saying she’ll show her what’s cute. Ichika’s eyes widened in shock and fear on what Kotone was going to do to her. And soon enough, she felt her legs being pried off and Kotone moving around and tossing her off of her with a monkey flip. Ichika flew off the mat and landed on her back a few feet away. Ichika writhes as she arches her back and places her one hand there trying to nurse it. Her eyes shut closed as she hissed in pain, leaving her open for what Kotone has in mind.

Kotone had to pant to bit, having to recover from the effects of the hold that Ichika had put her in for so long. Closing her eyes, her body was in a lot of pain, she needed to recover but also make sure Ichika doesn't try anything else. So she would have to go to something she doesn't do all that much, submission holds.

"It's time for a little bit of payback." Kotone said now as she walks over to Ichika, and attempts to lock in a Dragon Sleeper. grabbing one of Ichika's arms and using her other arm to go under Ichika's head to lock it in.

Ichika is down on the mat writhing in pain as the exchange of moves in this match is certainly not in her favor. Ichika has to do something to turn the tables and her move Cuddles did just that until Kotone threw her off in a monkey flip.

As she is trying to get back up, Ichika heard every word Kotone said "Wait what?? We're even!! GAAHHHH! Get off me!!, Ichika protested as she felt Kotone lock her in a dragon sleeper and grab one of her arms. Ichika squirm as she laboured breaths, her chest heaving slowly as she try to conserve her air because of Kotone's choke. She would try to wrestle her arm free and use the other one to try to pry Kotone's arm off, digger her nails to her soft skin.

Kotone locked on the Dragon Sleeper, hoping to get back at Ichika from all the tight chokes she's been put in throughout the match. Kotone had a smile on her face "Doesn't feel so good when its done to you huh?" Kotone taunted her opponent as she lost air.

Before Kotone had a chance to really tighten the submission hold, she felt nails slowly dig into her skin. "OW" Kotone yelled audibly as she was forced to let go of the hold and held her arm in pain, checking to see if she was losing blood.

Kotone was now open to an attack from Ichika.

Ichika was caught in another unfavorable position. It was still early in the match and she has taken considerable damage already. She can feel her limbs feeling heavy and harder to move around. She has her eyes closed as she grit her teeth as she desperately tries to get out of the hold. Her chest moving up and down more rhythmically as her breaths become shorter and much more laborious as Kotone tightens the grip on her throat even more.

She quickly dropped on all fours when Kotone released her hold on her. With her mouth open as she takes deep breaths as she slowly tries to rise back up. She knew she couldn’t waste any time as she felt that even if her opponent is much greener than her, she might be on par with her strength and skills. The thought frustrates Ichika even more as she’s supposed to be better

So Ichika would run back towards the opposite side of the ring, she would put one arm over the top rope as she would then bounce off of it. She would then run towards Kotone in exceptional speed and would hope that Kotone only got back up to her feet as she would try to jump at the last moment and hit Kotone’s chest with a drop kick. If Kotone managed to dodge this, Ichika would be in a very bad spot.

Kotone was just recovering from the way Ichika got out of her Dragon Sleeper. Luckily, she didn't lose any blood, but she was still in immense pain. Still being young into her career, she finally got Ichika to take her seriously, and still wanted to get her first win in L.A.W, even though it was definitely as difficult as she thought it would be.

Next thing she knew, Kotone spent too much time recovering and was hit with a dropkick to the chest from Ichika, promptly being knocked down to the mat. Kotone could only groan and wait for what Ichika was going to do next.

Ichika is looking for payback having been humiliated in the most part of the match by the redhead rookie. And what is a better way to bounce back in a fight than an explosive dropkick! The impact earning the wild cheers from the crowd making Ichika grin as she stands back up

Ichika just thought of the best idea to take revenge as she walked around her down opponent. Ichika would then jump up and extend both her legs out before crashing down Kotone to try and hit her with a leg drop just like what Kotone did to her earlier.

Ichika would find this as another chance to slip a taunt to fool around her opponent. ”How’s that as a taste of your own medicine?”, Ichika said as she chuckled but with a slight tone of concern for her smaller opponent as she would check on her.

Kotone was downed from the dropkick, a look of pain from her face. The agile offense she uses could also be used by Ichika. She has to counter speed with speed.

Then the sudden drop of a leg crashed against Kotone's body, causing the young rookie to let up a loud yelp as her opponent taunted her. However she felt, it was definitely not good as she was prone to another attack.

Ichika’s face took the shape of a grin as she realized how she was in a streak against her opponent that managed to sneak her way out of her moves ever since the start of the match.

She glanced a look at her writhing downed opponent. She would then get the perfect idea as she would grab Kotone’s hand and feet by her wrist and ankle and drag her near the corner. She would then step on the middle turnbuckle and to the top before striking a pose for the crowd. Ichika would then turn her head backwards towards Kotone below ”Stay down there, will ya?”, Ichika taunts before doing a backflip to try to land on Kotone with a moonsault press. If this goes well, she would go for a pin. If not, she would be in a very vulnerable position
