Returning With Vengeance

A wrestling match had just finished a while ago, and it seemed that there would be something announced after this. There were some rumors about the return of a certain wrestler who had been shelved for months due to injuries, but no one was able to confirm it, not even the ring announcers. The announcers were left wondering among themselves about what was about to happen next before the signature song of a certain Wrestle Angel, Golden Nocturne, was played from the loudspeakers. Hearing this, the crowd exploded into loud cheers, and the announcers finally confirmed the return of the Combat Genius, Megumi Mutoh.

And so, after the song was played, Megumi Mutoh appeared from the entrance, clad in her red dress, and she raised her arms as pyros were activated, heralding her return. She smiled brightly as she made her way down the ramp, giving high-fives to those who were at the front seats as she headed over to the ring. It seemed that she had something to say after her months-long absence from LAW.

Soon, Megumi entered the ring, and she let the crowd cheer for her for a few more moments. She already had a microphone in her hand as she waited for the cheers to die on their own. Once the crowd quieted down a little, Megumi brought he microphone to her lips and started speaking. "It sure feels good to be out of the bed..." She joked, eliciting some laughs from the crowd. "Well, the foods were terrible, but it actually felt nice to be at the hospital. I even got enough time to caught up to my favorite anime while I was in there." She walked about in the ring, looking pretty restless. She had been out of actions for many months, and she seemed eager to get rowdy as soon as possible.

"First thing first, there's still this huge elephant in the room that I need to address, you know?" Megumi stated. "I got some tiny crack here in my neck and some bruises here and there in my internal organs. Well, I'm not a stranger to injuries, but I'd prefer to take injuries from fighting people." Her eyes narrowed as she recalled how she got those injuries in the first place. "Somehow, there were some cowards who thought it would be a good idea to sneak on someone and beat them up. I'd like to call out all those cowards, but I think I should start with the most cowardly of them..." She looked at the direction of the entrance as she called out the person responsible for her injuries.

"Helena Dubois! Come out and drag your stupid ass outta here! I have things to say to you, and I have lots and lots of things to say to you. Also, if you try to pull the same stunt as the last time again, I gonna hunt you down till the end of this godforsaken earth!!!"

Helena heard Megumi from backstage and had been wondering when she would return. Apparently she had come back to LAW and Helena had more work to do with her to really drive her away or at least help her see her place in the pecking order... a place inferior to that of Helena.

Helena's music began to play and the crowd let her have it, booing her loudly as she came out. Helena fed off the negative reaction, her smile devilishly large as she waved to Megumi in the ring. "Well hello dear! I do trust that you are feeling better? I would apologize for what I did, but that would mean I would have to be sorry for the horrid beating you took at my hands. Sorry, not sorry." Helena said with a cackle, making the crowd vocal disgust even louder. "My precious little Megumi, I know you want to tell me what you think of me and what you will do to me but my sweet little thing I have zero fear of anything a woman like you can do to a woman like me." Helena said with a shrug, standing with a grin on her face as her arms crossed her chest.

Helena was all ears right now, more than happy to let Megumi vent.

Megumi narrowed her eyes when Helena finally showed up. She had to restrain herself from jumping straight at the woman and tear her apart, but she knew that she couldn't afford to be reckless, not in front of this vile person. She listened to what she was saying, and after taking a deep breath, she then made her reply to her.

"Oh, no, no, no... you got it all wrong, Helena," Megumi said, her voice suddenly taking a higher pitch, somehow sounding rather cheerful, however fake it seemed to be. "I called you out because I wanna talk about something to you. I wanna talk about what a "great" person you are, how "brave" and "clever" you are in the ring. I wanna talk about you "never dealing a cheap shot" on anyone, all that stuff!"

Some of those words were punctuated in a way that made it clear that she was being sarcastic. "If you can come join me in the ring and talk to me like a grown up, that would be super! Heck, we could even be the bestest of friends!" Megumi kept being sarcastic while urging the other woman to join her in the ring.

Helena could see an ambush coming. She smiled and brought her mic up as she stood with a hand on her hip. "Honey, I know what you are trying to do. I can hear you just fine from here so go ahead and speak your mind." Helena said while trying to look casual. However she had glanced around looking at the fans near the barricade. None of them appeared to be wrestlers and Helena felt safe back here. In the ring? No way. Megumi seemed to be up to something and Helena wasn't having it.

Megumi was behaving oddly like Helena come to think of it.

Megumi could tell that Helena was a paranoid little bitch who refused to join her in the ring. She had no plan to ambush her, though she would use this to her advantage.

"Aw, come on! Come and join me in the ring! Let's be pals!" Megumi insisted. She wanted to see how far Helena would be willing to go with her paranoia. "Or are you scared that I'm gonna jump on your pretty little ass?" She asked, still showing a friendly smile.

Helena smiled and shrugged. "Sometimes it takes a spider to know when a web is being weaved around it, and if something looks this much like a trap.... it is a trap. You may recall that I know a thing or two about teaching undeserving wrestlers a hard lesson after all." Helena said with a smile, staying right where she was. She didn't want to be close to Megumi right now. She looked like her usual self but part of Helena couldn't help but think that the red clad wrestler in the ring was starting to become unhinged.

It was true that Megumi was getting more unhinged as time went on, but she wasn't showing any sign of suddenly attacking Helena anytime soon, and when Helena refused to join her in the ring, Megumi let out an exaggerated sigh as she dramatically brought her hand onto her forehead.

"Fine, be that way! If you don't want to join me in the ring, why don't you hear me out instead?" Megumi said. "What do you think about a rematch? The next PPV is around the corner, so don't you think it's a good stage for us to fight against each other again?" She would wait for Helena's response after saying that.

"A rematch you say?" Helena said as she tapped her finger against her chin. She was silent for a few moments to make it look like she was thinking but she knew her answer. She could plan, and if she beat Megumi once she knew she could do it again.

"I gladly accept, it will be fun to show you your place.... again."

Megumi smiled when Helena accepted her challenge. Though she wasn't done yet. "Hold on, I'm not finished yet. We all know that you're quite "sporting" when it comes to wrestling," she said the word sporting sarcastically, complete with air quote. "But, for this match, let's do a no holds barred match. No disqualification and anything goes, stuff like that." She grinned as she said that. "How about it? That way, both of us can go all out on each other."

Helena smiled and felt confident about her chances. An unhinged Megumi would make mistakes, mistakes that Helena could capitalize on. "I accept, I look forward to humiliating you all over again in front of a large PPV crowd my precious little Megumi." Helena said with a smile, waving nonchalantly at Megumi as she turned to walk back up the ramp to the backstage area. She was going to love crushing Megumi and putting her in her place again....
